I've been to Taichung on my last 2 days in Taiwan back in 2018 - thanks to their government's initiative of Visa Free for us in the SEA. I agree, it's an underrated city! I love every bit of Taiwan! Such beautiful country! Wonderful, friendly and helpful people! Also, the cheap price for everything was amazing! I'll be coming back later this year if they will renew the Visa free.
@@RalphSam yes! from the Philippines and I just found that their visa free is extended!!! I'm going back on December for our holiday break!! yehey!!! I bookmarked this vlog to build my itinerary! 🥰
The part of Taichung you guys went to is far more modernized. The birthplace of boba is very close where you visited. Love hearing Taiwanese as it is rarely spoken these days or from what I noticed from my last visit. These videos are just so wonderful. The lofi music plus pictures and increased narration puts a nice touch on this channel. Love it!
We are planning to go to Taichung in February this coming year and you took us to an amazing introduction to it. I love your artistic Vlog. Great job guys.
We were just there last week and went to a few of the places from your past Taiwan vlogs ❤. I loved it there and can’t wait to visit again! Taichung will surely be on our list. I always get excited whenever there’s a new vlog.
Hi Sam! I noticed that you're still using just your phone for the vids up to now. You were able to maximize it, haha. Love it!! You guys are becoming my standard for vlogs and it keeps getting better everytime 🎉🎉😊😊 always super informative din!
Notifsquad! 🎉❤ Thanks for the new vlog. Love your vlogs for the visual feast and I just stream them the whole night to lull me to sleep because your voices are so soothing. LOL 😊 1:58 There's a Mister Donut at One Ayala and they sell the pon de ring! (No matcha flavor though). I love the Rocky Road and plain glaze 🥰
I really love your vlogs. They are really fun to watch and have very informative content. The way you show the place you're traveling makes me feel like I'm there. I'm planning to visit Taiwan for the first time and would definitely go back to watch your vlogs on your Taiwan trips to get an idea of how to plan my vacation there. Keep making vlogs they are so inspiring.
We love watching your channel and you guys seriously deserve more subscribers. Sam, you may have mentioned this in a previous video and I just missed it but can you tell me about the shoulder bag you keep carrying? It’s a beautiful yellow/beige color. 😊
Hi, there! Your Taiwan travel videos have been such a great resource for me as I plan our trip there in a few months. Just curious if you still recall the name of the shop where you could make your own jewelry? Would love to check it out if we have time when we visit Taichung. :)
What's awesome about you both is that you don't live that far from these beautiful places. Keep these videos coming.........also what's the song that starts at 4:42?
Hi there! Roughly we stayed 2 to 3 nights in each city, using the High Speed Rail and Local Train to travel. We spent more time in Taipei since it was the busiest. Cities in order: - Kaohsiung - Taichung - Taipei - Keelung
i thought i was watching a foreign silent vlog, until i read in the comments that you're from the PH.. love your vlog! i cannot wait to visit taichung next month haha btw, what film camera are you using?
Hi! Really in love with your vlogs❤ Planning my trip to Thailand (Bangkok) and your videos are very useful :) Can you please say what font do you use at the beginning of the video?
If you are visiting Taiwan for a short term and traveling with High Speed Rail for a few days, there are exclusive tickets for 2-day optional & 3-day consecutive unlimited rides!
Loving all your vlogs especially the coffee shop hopping 😍 Are you guys open to visiting India? It’s my dream place at the moment. Me and my partner love Indian food. Would love to see you exploring the country too but only if you’re keen of course 😄 I would still be watching your vlogs nevertheless 😘 thanks for the relaxing videos! Love from NZ ❤
We've definitely discussed it 😊 love Indian food as well! Just not sure if we're experienced enough travelers to make such a big trip, but we would love to one day 🤍 Thank you for watching!
No worries 😊 Also trying to convince my partner to visit at least Mumbai once in our life! Hey if you guys swing by here in nz, would love to connect with you. We also vlog but we only do silent ones. Your vlogs are so inspiring. Anyway happy Tuesday guys! 😘
We’re here in Auckland but would also like to try living in Christchurch 😊 Yes we’ve got lots of wonderful sceneries and landscapes especially in the South Island. But here in Auckland we’re surrounded by beaches so it’s good in the summer. You’ll enjoy it here if you love nature 😄 Coffee scene here is also quite good!
Oh, if you're traveling with young kids, then I might suggest Kaohsiung's riverside area with the museums, art galleries and night lights. Especially on the weekend. It's maybe more family friendly.
Check out Kaohsiung Pier 2 Art Center. They often have exhibits for kids. Lots of riverside activities as well. You can also visit the pagodas, etc. :)
@@RalphSam any possibility you have a contact phone number for Manho Hotel? We would like to call them. Did you use any other hotels in Taiwan you liked?

Personally, I would choose Taichung. It's a little more modern with beautiful cafes, delicious food.
@RalphSam thanks, I hope it's enough attractions to entertain my kids.
