It's kinda crazy how good their run was this summer.
This is probably my favorite comp of the three you made, especially the back half starting from the Ghost. It might even take over as my favorite out of your catalogue (for now). It's just so hard to pick one since they've been so good since summer 2021.
It may not be practical, but just in case it is, you should totally consider compiling a "best of" for each year or run. That'd be epic!

I just put on this mix (starting w the ghost) because it's been a few weeks since I listened to this one.. it's wild how good this band is.. they are so inspired and I keep pinching myself that we get to experience it at such a high caliber after all the years. What a gift.
I have totally considered a best of comp project by year.. it's risky territory since people have such strong opinions about what is Best.. but I never claim to curate Best of mixes.. just My Favorite Jam mixes (which people tend to forget)... so maybe I'll dabble.

Thanks for posting all the jams, The last 8 shows I went to (Both 4 days at Monde & Dick’s) were both groundbreaking this year!
Btw Where's the Dicks CDT?, I mean the Monde CDT was a pretty smooth groove but the Dicks one was monstrous that peaked tremendously.
@@nicoyoung1998 Zero valid excuses really other than I just gotta pick and choose sometimes 🙈.. these two runs in particular made that tough. I mostly try to avoid duplicates on a comp as a rule (which is becoming harder as the band keeps sounding sharper and sharper). CDT is a top tune for me. One day I'll make a CDT only comp. :)

@@brianmooney8039 I am super flattered you would ask that :) but I am not in the goose loop and I think to be able to create similar compilations for a different project I would have to be immersed / obsessed with their improv in order to be able to do them any justice. I don't have access to lossless live audio files of their shows, which would be key. I spent almost 400 bucks on lossless files for phish summer tour this year just to make these mixes. 😅 I love making them and have no regrets but phew.. going to need a higher salary to keep this shit up LOL..
