Wow those are totally reasonable costs to replace fairing parts! I own a black 2019 but never bothered to ask my Yamaha dealer. Thanks for sharing, ride safe man.
sorry to hear about the stolen R3. i hope you lock your bikes up with a chain. i lock my R3 up at any bike rack i can find. the key is to buy a Kryptonite chain, put one end of the chain through the space the suspension goes through. you then wrap the chain around the bike rack. since it goes through the frame the only way to get it off is with an angle grinder
1:15 Ironic the sign says "no dumping" and you DUMPED the bike! I got an R3 and it's all easy peasy plastic replacement when you low side. No worries, and glad you were not injured, as that is all that really matters. Keep your wheels on the ground, as I say on my channel.
I actually bought the white 2019 full fairings from my dealer for under 300. Parts are so bad with the r3, its just the supply is hard to order because alot are backordered.
Could be far worse bro ,I saw the last vid ,what happened ,cold tires ,frozen road ,seems like was cold and snowing ,grab that twin brothers slip on and be the man :D :D Glad you good ,and Yamaha is good ,keep the bike ,it wasn't meant to be sold ,good luck to you and looking for more vids of u riding it ,one day I'll grab mine as a begginer bike ! :D
First upgrade on any bike is the tyres, get new ones straight from the dealer when you by the bike, I never trust OEM tyres, especially cheap nasty ones i.e GPR-300, Michelin pilot street, etc. Ride safe bro
@@fabinho69fs Yes, in most cases OEM tyres are budget options put on the bike as a last thought. Dunlop tyres are a little iffy too, only ones I’d trust are Q3+ and Q4. Exceptions to the rule being the new ZX-6R (Bridgestone S22) and R1 (Bridgestone RS11) which are obviously fantastic top of the range sport/track tyres.
@Patrick Caron What? My tire theory is bullshit? The OEM Dunlop’s on this bike are budget. That’s a fact. They are notoriously slippy in anything that’s not hot, dry weather.
@Patrick Caron I do wear full leathers yeah? I can tell you’re new to riding with your immature attitude and 2020 R3. Thanks you for laughs tho - Rossi.
Amazing how cheap the repair is. As for the crash, wow; didn't see that coming with such a normal turn. Considering this bike or the Ninja 400. Downsizing from a 1995 Triumph Trident 900 cause I'm getting up in age and it's just too top heavy.
Not too bad if it's not really windy where you live. It's normally not but been having 20 mpg wind with 35mph gusts all month. Certainly keeps you on your toew
The parts are sooooo cheap. I dropped mine within 5 miles while practicing low speed manuvers in a parking lot and damaged one of the fairing panels. $30! So cheap. Thanks for the info.
Look at the ninja 400, ride both it and this one they're close enough that anyone who tries to convince you one is outright superior is just trying to twist their opinion as fact. End of the day test drive both before you commit to buying either.

Extremely reasonable! Especially for a 2020 motorcycle. Ride safe🙏

Glad the damage wasn't too bad, bro! I'm going to be getting an R3 as a backup to my R6! #DBL

That part list would probably set you back somewhere between 500 and 1200 bucks in Australia.
Wait fr?
P.s I'm Australian

Hey I cracked my fairing I put it down while cleaning the chain. Where do you find a new one and respray it etc?
Change the tire dude. Battlax s22 good tire on road and track
So helpful!

Totally doable. And don't worry it happens to everyone👍
@@MotoChrisOfficial I went to the dealer and tried to order the panel and they said there is no inventory anywhere so I could not place an order.
They are on backorder. You should be able to make a backorder so come July they can make them and ship them to you
Bro please watch Twist of the Wrist. You may seen this already but i am so worried about you. Good luck and wish you best.
if you still had the stock teardrop turn signal, itl save the fairing a lil bit
No it won’t there rubber mounted on a rubber grommet.. it would’ve just been another thing to fix
I just bought my first R3 and I’m in the middle of rebuilding it too...that low side was so unfortunate bro!
thats fucking crazy, i crashed my brand new 2022 yamaha r3 and the repairs are over 3k. panel 2 only runs for about 220$
This Colorado?
useful video
How much you selling the bike for?
