I can see that in the future there will be a topic of discussion like "few scammers/hackers have converted many of the victim's sim into e-sim and took out crores of money from the bank"
Anything is possible 😅
Already happening 😂
Not possible
scammers already do sim cloning
This is already happening
Should be optional,not mandatory
With extra security features people will use esims more like digital money is used for transactions
yahi hona hi chahiye
There are definitely a lot of advantages to adopting an esim but one of the major disadvantages could be that, for those who travel abroad, having an esim makes it difficult for the person to register for a telecom service of the foreign country. Whereas having a physical sim makes it more versatile for the person to easily switch to the local telecom service within minutes with minimal hassle.
it is actually quite easy for users with esim ,ask the merchant navy fellas
Its easier for esim. You can add upto 15 esim profiles which is a good thing instead of carrying mutiples cards which can be misplaced, you have profiles on your phone
How to use it?
You can add up to 8 esim in iPhone… how is this even a problem??
@@ashish_sh smartphone manufacturer would introduced different variant as single, double, tripple, quadrupple, multiple E-sims enabled smartphone by differentiating their price for each variant in terms of thousands of rupees 😁
Bas Data and privacy policy EU jesi customer friendly jo jae to kya he kehna. Rest is reforming at the right pace. 😊
I am also in eSIM, but the thing is you forgot something that is for example I am an iPhone user and iPhone is iOS software so if iOS software has some bugs, then the eSIM also will contain those bugs and if it is not resolved immediately, then the users will face issues
By this Airtel can save billions of rupees but 1st they should make the eSIM transfer procedure as easy as swapping physical SIM. I support the tech and using eSIM since over a year.
Billion rupees😂
It takes only 20 to 30 minutes to switch to eSIM.
@@snehalquestand it takes one min for physical sim
I am already using esim from last 5 months, very satisfied with esim
As e-sim can be updated that means it's not a ROM it's a type of RAM and undoubtedly it will make hackers more beneficial as they will manipulate it very easily.
00:05 E-SIMs are replacing physical SIMs in smartphones
02:03 E-SIM is an embedded SIM card that is already inside your mobile phone.
03:58 E-SIMs are digital copies of physical SIM cards that can be installed in any electronic device.
05:14 Embedded SIMs enable seamless connectivity in smartphones and tablets
06:28 E-SIMs allow for multiple mobile numbers and provide advanced encryption and authentication mechanisms.
07:46 E-SIMs eliminate the need for physical SIM cards in smartphones.
09:30 E-SIMs are slowly replacing physical SIMs in smartphones.
11:38 E-SIMs are gradually becoming popular for interconnecting devices.

The disadvantages will be huge if e sims happens on a large scale for the consumers as phones will be locked and carriers will have most control over the phones
You can change mobile phones or even telcos
Yes it's sure yrr
Esim doesn't mean locked phone. You can always change phone. Just download the new esim. Now a days phone have transfer esim option also. Using esim is very easy. But i believe physical sim slot shouldn't be taken away.
@@jigneshpatel4458bro sim k through carrier Phones control kar sakte hai
as a eSIM user, i love this concept. and believe me it’s very easy to setup. just one problem, you can’t send sms 24 hours after setup.
Are You able to set up upi using eSIM?
I also use eSIM. I thoroughly agree with you.
yes!
just after completing the process, you have to wait few hours to connect network coverage through eSIM..
and then after 24 hours everything works normal, and you can setup UPI apps.
(please note: i'm using airtel eSIM only. maybe other operators are similar situation)
one more thing, actually eSIM works better than physical sim, coz everytime i switch airplane mode on and off, the network coverage connect instantly.
Har phone me support karega ye?
The most disadvantage is if you can't login in your own e-mail by two factors authentication then it will be more problematic.
can you please explain how it can be problematic
Can you explain more this problem
@@sidhantbhandari8006 Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an important security measure that adds an extra layer of protection to your online accounts. Here are some reasons why it's important:
1. **Enhanced Security**: 2FA provides an additional layer of security beyond just a username and password. Even if someone knows your password, they would also need access to the second factor (like your phone or fingerprint) to log in.
2. **Protection Against Cyber Attacks**: 2FA makes it more difficult for cybercriminals to access your accounts. Even if they manage to obtain your password, they would still need the second factor to gain access.
3. **Prevents Unauthorized Access**: 2FA helps protect against unauthorized access to your accounts. If someone tries to log in to your account without your knowledge, they would need both your password and the second factor¹².
4. **Protects Personal and Business Assets**: Businesses use 2FA to protect their employees' personal and business assets. This prevents cybercriminals from accessing or destroying internal data records.
5. **Reduces Risk**: Two-factor authentication reduces the risk of unauthorized access in two ways. First, it forces hackers to hack two factors instead of just one. Second, at least one of the factors required by 2FA is more difficult to hack than a password.
In conclusion, 2FA is a crucial security measure that can significantly enhance the protection of your online accounts and personal information.
@@sidhantbhandari8006 if you enable two factors authentication in your email login Google will give two options to login each time you login in your Gmail like mobile otp, and mobile prompt. In this case if you lost your sim or phone then you will not be able to login at your own account by entering your gmail password you need otp too login to enter in your email. In some how if you can't login in your own e-mail then esim have a disadvantage.
I am already using since 1 year..
so how is your experience ?

If I give my mobile for repair then how can I remove e-sim?
My father doesn't no all these technologies so how he will going to handle?
I think we are going too much in digital technology without much safety.
e-SIM should be linked with Aadhaar OTP verification
Then this E Sim can be hacked easily. Server which contains details of this SIM can be easily hacked.
Using new technology without encripting/ securing it is like entering a unknown jungle without the prior knowledge of deadly animals residing in it
With the amount of dependencies we have on our phone already when it comes to OTP and 2FA, they are already a huge single point of failure. Security challenges need to be addressed.
If phone get damaged you can't you secondary phone with this sim.
You can't switch your phone in case of emergency...very bad innovation
RIP Indians Privacy, security and anti tracking.
😂😂😂 Are still living in 1990s... There's nothing called privacy if u connected to internet, And u can always be tracked...
Phone repair k time kese hoga , privacy kya rahega, kya main physical sim ki tarah dusra phone main utna asani se use kar paunga ???
Technology k liye to bahut acha h ye h advance technology but ye jon opportunities or development ko bahut kam kar dega bahut sare log ka job chali jayegi 😢
You should mention the steps/process of changing eSims and porting.
“Delete eSim” option is available in iPhone
What does it be different from removing physical sim
the problem is only flagship level devices currently support esim which is very costly for normal citizen to purchase such a device. Govt should make it mandatory for all manufacturers to go for e-sim
Please. Correct your understanding. E Sim is not embeded. It is installed if you need it.
I need 3 sim requirement
1 - for office use
2 - for relatives, frnds,
3 - only for my family, n for special frnds... ( this people have all 3 number)
U can use upto 2 esims
I guess some relatives, friends are special as well. Plus why you need two sims for family?

Using it for more than a year in my iPhone but yes theres always a fear of losing phone or swapping phones
If phone thief by someone and formatting the phone
All setting will be reset
How to avoid this
I am using since last year. There is no difference in physical and e sim only problem is when you frequently change your phone. In physical sim we can put the sim in any phone at any time but we can not do that in e sim.
So when you change your phone, how long does it take for the E sim to activate (or become usable)?
Also, have you been locked out anytime?
How is the operator response?
Thanks in advance!
@@who_is_this_person I have not try it yet. But to activate from physical sim to e sim it takes 2 days for me.
@@who_is_this_person and so far there is no problem of log out.
Already using esim but i would not suggest people to switch at least for a while.
Why?
@@auwalaladka lot's of drawback. You can't swap your sim to new device without performing the whole activation process and in case your esim stopped working then you will have to change back it into the physical sim which will cost Rs.50/- per time then again change it back to esim. Things are not as good as it has been portrayed by telecom operators to the customers. Btw I'm an ex employee so ik their tactics to gain business profit. Rest the choice is yours bud.
If I want to use a phone without a sim then what should I do... Companies want to follow you at any moment... ? Through esim !? It's my concern and the question to the sim provider...
delete the esim profile from the mobile and it can be used without esim

A Mobile phone-Stipend plan would help to make an online presence possible
But guess what, these days stolen phones are broken down into parts and then getting resaled.

Esim won't work with Custom Rom?
@@nycto0 definitely works, but sometimes, after changing rom with adb format it creates problems with connection establishment

E-sim would be benefitted mostly for smartphone manufacturers, telecom companies and e-sim manufacturers.
Not for mobile users.
2 min ka video enough tha eske liye
so, CDMA phones instead of GSM, are we evolving backwards
Esim is not fixed to any carrier.....you can switch to other operator any day on same phone....CDMA is fixed to one carrier and one phone
I have been using eSim since Jan 2023, no issue in network

I already used e-sim since 1 year on my google pixel phone with jio network.
E sims are as easy to delete as are physical sims.
Yes, will get switched to e-SIM
I wanted to convey my Airtel sim to esim. Even after 3 visits to their store they were not able to convert and then the physical sim also got disabled. Poor training by Airtel to it's staff.
I did the same process for VI. It took less than half an hour to convert physical SIM to eSIM.
This will make network provider control mobile market just like internet was control by isp
I hve already used esim in 2007 while using tata Indicome
I'm using e sim 😊 compare to physical sim better performance e sim 😊
Now there is no need to block sim card if your phone is stolen just relex and chill 😅
We have used the e-sim by reliance CDMA phone in initial stage of reliance
No, if my set is damaged, it will be difficult to use another reserve set.
I already use E-sim this in my phone , I think it is good.
They are trying to make some more profit. Thats it.

Sir plz comment what are the security compromise on using eSIM , which you have not covered in your video.

Boom. No sim detected. Stay without connection until you travel to the network provider's store hundreds of kms away.. genious idea🙄
e-sim me only sim number hoga aur jab aap kisi company ka network use karenge to aapko us company se mobile number milega

It is the most horror things
Because kuch countries ma aaj bhi physical sim ha and actually dikkat yeh bhi ha ki aap jab naya phone loge to us ESIM ko physical banao phir physical ko leke new phone ma dal kar use ESIM banao
It too complicated for a laymen but anymen if it is happening in future then people must find out of this complex process
