I think I know just how Booker and Sheldon felt about Orson reading them the story of Cinderella. The only thing I think it was missing was the two mice named Jaq and Gus.

I'm guessing to make it more interesting and more fun I'm guessing they want to make it action-packed
It may have been a dig at the popularity of Ninja Turtles, which was still a thing at the time.
