'Tap & Strings'

An extract of our premiere performance at The Unity Theatre in October 2024.
'Tap & Strings' is a collaborative project between Hannah Ballard (Tap artist), Alex McDowall (Guitar) and Pablo Sonnaillon (Double Bass).
We use improvisation as a central premise to connect jazz musicians with tap percussion and contemporary dance. Examining the traditions they look to create, in the moment, a synthesis between the disciplines.
