I am Really enjoying these raw videos and the commentary. Understanding that even really good windsurfers don’t get everything perfect all of the time gives us lesser-skilled windsurfers hope. Thanks Ben! #member
One of the good things about windsurfing is that it makes swimming more purposeful. I used to find swimming in a swimming pool rather boring and pointless but with windsurfing you are often swimming like mad to get to your kit before it gets away from you. I wear a Forward WIP impact vest which makes swimming more fun as you are higher in the water and face / head mostly out of the water and you feel like you are sort of body surfing in small waves. Ok maybe not a good idea in big waves if you want to duck dive under them. Impact vest lets you sit in the water if you want to and not even bother having to try to swim. Makes waterstarts much easier. Windsurfing is for people who like swimming.
Thanks, Ben for the full experience. All the angles, comments... a true first person session for the watchers. Keep up woth the excellent work of promoting and keeping windsurfing alive.
Fantastic camera work .loved this video.its years since I windsurfed.now am old and fat but live watching you guys out on the water pulling off some great moves.i was a Rhosneigr weekender when it was you and Ben leading the way.keep it coming..
Soo cool Ben :) awesome spot tour...as a beginer myself I can just dream about sailing in these kind of conditions and spots, so thank you Ben for this "surfalong"
Jono Dunnett, the British windsurfer who sailed around Britain and Europe without a support boat is currently circumnavigating Japan!! Be great if you did a call with him and covered some of his adventure on your channel!
Thanks Ben, loving the action. For the new insta, I wonder if there are different settings. I guess right now the high resolution is distributed among the whole sphere. So when you view a certain fraction here, the resolution is very low. Just complaining on a high level. Very much appreciate the videos ❤ Ah and I think the audio is as good as it can be in this conditions. So I guess the microphone is working nicely
Cool idea! Would be great to see the same with top 10 pros. B en, do you know what is happening with CIW, when they can open and if they will continue the same business?
These are my favorite videos. Super helpful for rookies like me. How much are you weighing these days? I feel like I need to lose 10lbs or add 10liters. haha. Riding an 85L and with my gear on wet I'm probably 200lbs (90kilo)
@@WindsurfingTV My wife tells me "More Cardio. Less Barcardio bro". ha! What harness lines are those? I want some that swing away. Or are my dakine fixed lines not broke in enough? I was thinking about cutting away the plastic a bit.
Fu****** amazing video!!!! Thats the videos we want to see, me at least... Sound quality is excellent just wait a few seconds for the mic to clear out all the water. What mic are you using? Anyway, great jumps, flips and very good work once again
Wonder if X4 is any better quality than X3. I have had two of those X3's. First went black after 10hrs of use, second hold some 60hrs and almost a year. The original X2 is still working with no problems and been using that in salty waters a lot more than those X3's.

Ben is building up my excitement level for the contest like no one else!

Nice video and pleasantly surprised to see a number of Sailloft sails around! 🤙
We can see clearly in that video that the Earth is rounded and Ben's windsurf skills are amasing
Sound is good, despite the hard wind. Serious skills Ben. Windsurfing and talking at the same time!🤙

That was awesome!! Thanks for taking along for the ride!!
Not unlike Orewa on Windsday, just a bit windier!
You should start narrating your videos Kevin!
@@ianmacnz there would be too much swearing....

Nice Ben. We’re going to have a BooM mission there soon. Cannot wait
I WANNA GO WINDSURF!!!!!!
It's like to be back there. Very freshly
Tack!
Cheers mate 🍦🍦

en, do you know what is happening with CIW, when they can open and if they will continue the same business?
Nice video ! The thing with the stone “beach” however is not the most attractive point at the famous spot. 🥴🥴
Real deal!
Good vid!
Finally a new Video. Thank you for taking us with you!
Can you tell us bevore what fin setup do you use on your board ?
quad - 14cm rear fins.. 9.5 cm front fins
Hello, very nice!,-) how has you filmed that? with a drone? and which size did you sail have? Thanks for answer !
Great video. The sound's working really well compared to some previous videos where it became hard to hear after getting wet. Different mic?
well yes it's the NEW USB-C Instamic and a different holder.. so it seems to clear the water quicker. Lets see how it goes but so far so good.
Do you use the underwater housing for the Insta360 X4?
Alessio Stillrich's board looks like the pozo board , see if you can get a go on it, probably one for the other channel

I was 83kg when I left home! I should be 78kgs.. going on a diet

Please will you demo the body-drag launch technique in a future video?

cheers mate.. 🍔🍔🍔
How do you reach this audio quality in windy environment?
nice
Super 💯
❤
Can you give us the name of the microphone, is it an INSTA ? 😉
what is the water temp ?
coool!
I cannot work out what the camera is attached to, does anyone know?
it's attached to the mast.. as it's a 360 camera it does something magic and gets rid of the pole. I'll make another video about it.
Are you're competing in the masters?
yes... that's the plan
Anyone want to bet on whether Ben is going to lose the 360 cam in Pozo??...😂😂😮
Moin Ben
3.4 and he can't close the sail. Pozo must be a nuclear windy place.
Ben, are you filming with the X4 or with the X3?
X4 - Which spent 48hrs on the bottom of the sea in Portugal last week!
Wonder if X4 is any better quality than X3. I have had two of those X3's. First went black after 10hrs of use, second hold some 60hrs and almost a year. The original X2 is still working with no problems and been using that in salty waters a lot more than those X3's.
You are not taking part in the event, are you?
No not in the main event (lBest the spaces are taken by the young guns).. but entered the masters like last year!
Love your videos Ben. you keep the subject interesting and amusing at the same time! Any reason that there isn't much tacking action in Pozo?
