@@LindenSmith-w3b . Yes there are incredibly intelligent. Where we live we have them In the trees outside our window. We often wake up to the sound of dogs barking but it's not dogs🤣 if you like our videos please like and subscribe.
@@MKrištínWildness . Yes we get great enjoyment from them. There is a shopping centre that we get to visit only once every 3 months due to our work. The magpies there remember Jen as she always feeds them.We have uploaded a short of that also if you go through our shorts . Thanks for your comment please like and subscribe if you haven't already 😊
Magpies are great. I have a breeding pair i've befriended that bring me their new chicks to meet every few years. They love mince meat, i always try and have some in the freezer. And they'll bring you treasures if they like you too.
@@stupich5868 . We have a pair of butcher birds that visit us every day. It took us about a year. But they will now eat meat or fruit from our hand. They come to the window and sing when they want us to feed them. I think our courtyard is a little bit to closed in for magpies. We have fed Maggies fruit when they land on the fence.
@@PAT4JEN@PAT4JEN oh, so, little cheeky sirens, are they? Well, I'd be under their spell instantaneously! They're quite large it seems! (I couldn't post this under your reply; said "error occurred."
@PAT4JEN I bet they're intelligent!! Most birds are. I have five parrots! (Again, for some reason I can't reply under your comment for some dumb reason.
@@PAT4JENoh, no! That's the worst thing to feed them! Empty calories, no nutrition, and it can get lodged in their throat, and worse, expand, if it gets wet! Seed, fruits, and veggies!
@@elizabeth9134 Jen has a bag of mixed seed's but not all magpies will eat seeds. A little bread as an occasional treat is ok . This is in a park so not a regular feed .She also feeds them at home but the ones at home only get fruit .
I always love and give these birds great respect as they deserve it
