Let me elaborate...if you bought this tablet and has YOUR EMAIL IN IT and simply forgot the password this fix is fine, however if you stole it, borrowed it, purchase at a swap meet, etc this will not work. 95%of the viewers here are in category 2 and this is useless...
@@romanterry Thanks for your comment. You are almost right. But there are a lot more then 5% of the original owners. Anyway if you are under the 95%, you have 2 solutions. Contact the previous owner or there is a pad service to remove the frp.
@@romanterry It was my sister’s tablet. She hadn’t use it for a while-maybe a year or so-and completely forgot the device’s password. I just know this method worked for what I needed.

Yes, this is the second security procedure from Android. After the reset choose "use google account instead" to activate the phone. If you don't know it, search for "forgot my google account". If you can't recover your google account or password, then the next option would be to search " Your phone's / tablet's model name + FRP unlock ". And if you still can't do it, you will need a special paid service. Good luck ;)

Hi. Like I said, you can erase the screen lock but not the account. You need to ask the seller for the gmail and password or you need an frp unlock. The second option is an paid option, if you need it contact me on instagram. Good luck
After i factory reset. It still asked for the lockscreen passcode. OR the email associated with it. To bad all videos dont say it wont work unless you know the pincode or email. No other way then paying company to unlock it

I see it helped many people, but for me I get a message that says “an unauthorized attempt has been made to reset your device to factory default settings” after connecting to wifi it asks for the screen lock code or sign into google, which was never signed into on this tablet. 😢
It was, if there is no google account, you can't download apps from the playstore which I'm pretty sure you did download. Anyway, you will need an frp unlock.

Because you are holding the power button for too long. You need to release the pwr button once the phone restarts and just keep holding the volume up btn. And the cable must be connected at that time. Watch the video again. It must work. Good luck

My problem is the wifi keeps going out. Just on my tablet, not my phone. It works for about a half an hour. It only happened after I did a reset. It worked fine before.

It doesn't work because you don't enter the very first google account - the main account that was associated with the tablet. It's because someone else did use it or you had more accounts
This models had some issues with the motherboard sometimes. It was freezing...the solution is to do reball the cpu. You could try to flash it also first with odin...

Mine was in airplane mode and still worked ur obviously not pressing the buttons together at exactly the same time, took me a couple of attempts but trust me it does work

It never had an frp lock on it if it worked for you. Period. This fix was perfect in 2014.

If there was a google account it won't be deleted. You will need to know it, otherwise more work are need to be done. It's a different story.

You need to follow the steps really carefully and don't forget the cable. It must work, but timing is important. Good luck.
