I love the 60mp Leica Q3. Nikon Z9, Z8 and the Z7II have 45mp cameras and love them too. The rest have 24mp, 20mp and 12mp ZV-E1. Sharp Images but with the 45mp and up that I own helps me cropping. I have the computers to do this but I do see a difference between with more megapixels. Cheers!
I own the Sony A7c and was considering the A7C2 & A7RC but decided on the ZV-E1 (White). But I like Point and Shoot cameras and that is why I also picked up the Leica Q3 with a fixed lens. I either place filters or the hood, never have to change the lenses. It doesn't overheat either and it is built like a tank. Cheers!
Great subject matter. The 60MP is helpful on the Q3, especially since it can crop in-camera. Make another camera episode.
Will do!
I found out that the AF-S for autofocus on the Leic Q3 works best for me. I also love the streamlined menu of the Leica. You don't have to go through pages and tabs to find the feature that you need. Of course when adding favorite features for the Sony or other brands does help. Cheers!
Thanks for the tips!
Sony 90/2.8 Macro OSS is the thing you want for watch photos. Proper true macro with fantastic color and rendering. The look is magical. It's also a killer general use lens.
Leica Q is definitely a different beast from the A7c. The two can't really be compared until you get a GMaster on the Sony- as the Summilux is a legendary performer.
Niikon 105mm 2.8 Z is probably even better
@@macmac6479 The Nikon 105/2.8 Z is incompatible with the Sony A7C.
Loved this video! I would appreciate more videos on photography and videography as well!
More to come!
Great video! More camera/photography content please!!
More to come!
Loved this. More camera talk please.
Will do!
This was great! I just picked up my first Leica (Q2) and it is so challenging yet so fun to shoot with. I love having a walkaround camera that inspires me to shoot. I was worried about the hype around Leica but I kinda get it now. Would love more camera content....how you set up studio shoots, what gear are you using for commercial work, what is the post-processing workflow look like! Thanks for this one!!
Noted! Thanks for watching!!
More videos and podcasts on watch photography please! Very much enjoyed this one. Thank you.
Will do!
For taking photos of watches 24-33 mp is more than enough, Zach could easily get a 7CII and have same results.
Thanks for watching!
I find there is a massive difference between photography and watches (for me). The clue is in the words I just used - for watches its about the watches, for photography its about the photos (not the camera). So for watches design/feel/story/heritage/aesthetic of the watch are 99% of of the game, telling the time? 1%. For cameras its completely the reverse - probability of getting the photo I want is 99% of the game, design/feel/story/heritage/aesthetic of the camera is 1%.
Great point!
Curious about the strap connector on the Leica, what is that one?
It's actually a custom leather strap made by a friend! - Kat
OK, so now a have a new hobby, thanks alot...😂. Very nice surprise for a friday. Greetings from MX
That’s what we’re here for! ;)
Sorry. I had a Sony a6000 for 13 years. Sold it for near where I bought it recently. If you take care of gear. It will last forever. It’s also kind of funny they contradict themselves…
Love this!
Thanks!
look at the Leica watch.. its looks awesome
Hopefully we’ll get one in for review soon!
Love that watch!
