I certainly don't smoke, I hardly ever use moisturizer (someimes I spread some Nivea across my cheeks after washing my face with shower gel) and I never use sunscreen. At 52 I still get asked why I have a 23-year-old child when I'm 28.

Yes, intense sadness and near-constant crying will age you but, this woman really shouldn't have dealt with her pain by consulting with packs of cigarettes and bottles of booze. It is certain that she has had a very problematic life (to be unjustly accused of her Mothers death), that had her caught in a pattern of reactionary bad choices...Those Family secrets run deep. She reminds me of Princess Margaret, someone that had every advantage, but no guiding star, so eventually became a victim of her own willful , unfulfilled nature. Time can soften even the harshest life, so hopefully she has created some stability for herself by this point. Her face is etched with every terror the years gave her.

I certainly don't smoke, I hardly ever use moisturizer (someimes I spread some Nivea across my cheeks after washing my face with shower gel) and I never use sunscreen. At 52 I still get asked why I have a 23-year-old child when I'm 28.
Genetics are a huge factor as well.

Yes, intense sadness and near-constant crying will age you but, this woman really shouldn't have dealt with her pain by consulting with packs of cigarettes and bottles of booze. You'd think her father's money could've bought her a decent psychotherapist instead.
She's always looked athletic and is attractive because of that. She obviously has avoided any type of plastic surgery. However, she seems to have taken a lot of sun and has smoked a lot. Not to mention all the emotional stress in her life. This naturally is mirrored in her face.
I am happy that she avoided the fillers and the botox and the lifts. And I am glad that she looks her age. Thank God some woman who actually has the courage to say: look - I went through a lot, like we all have, and this is what I look now that I am getting older and just deal with it. I don't want to paralyze my face just to make myself look younger. I look the way I look because I want it to be that way and I'm proud of it. Bless her.

She was said to be responsible for the huge economic shift in Monaco. Her fame and the story of this “fairytale” marriage put tiny Monaco on the map and made it the international “playground” it became and, so far, has remained. Things weren’t as simple as Ranier falling in love with a beautiful Catholic...this was a transaction in every sense of the word. I've heard it said that she inherited her Great GrandMother Princess Charlottes recessive genes (she went mad after many years of bizarre scandalous behavior). It is certain that she has had a very problematic life (to be unjustly accused of her Mothers death), that had her caught in a pattern of reactionary bad choices...Those Family secrets run deep. She reminds me of Princess Margaret, someone that had every advantage, but no guiding star, so eventually became a victim of her own willful , unfulfilled nature. Time can soften even the harshest life, so hopefully she has created some stability for herself by this point. Her face is etched with every terror the years gave her.
