      @@Cripplified Accuracy measures how similar your moves are to the ones a strong chess computer would have made in your position. An innacurate move is one that a chess engine would consider a poor choice.
      Most mistakes will register as being "innaccurate" but not all innaccurate moves are necessarily mistakes. Sometimes you make a moved based on information about your opponent that the engine couldn't possibly know and it works well for you even though its not what the engine would have done.

    I have a solution for your anxiety for playing in online chess against better people. Simply put a little blackout on top of their name. So you can't see who you're playing against until after the game. Since your entire anxiety is because of whom you're playing against, it would be logical to remove that out of the equation. You will literally have to play every game as if it was Schrodinger's cat. You will play with the knowledge that you can both be playing against the best and the worst players. And with that you will have nothing to be anxious about, because you will come into each game with the same mentality. "It's just a player."

So what happens is, bihop takes f2. if king moves to h1, then rook goes e1. if white rook takes the black rook at e1, then bishop takes e1, then what ever white does, the f file bishop goes to f1. If wana counter this, then the c file rook of white, should pin the black f file rook or alternative way, move the king to g1 rather that than h1. this was just a little thought i had

The 2nd point is the 'Magnus' effect. Even when winning people lose, because they get the jitters thinking that they might actually be winning, or win.

    5:54, please correct me if I am wrong, the game won't continue for longer even if Magnus did h1, cuz in that case rook e1, magnus' rook gets threatened, if he doesn't move, checkmate. If he takes Gotham's rook, again checkmate with rook standing at f8, am I right?

    • @cheesyaffan235
      @cheesyaffan235 3 роки тому +1

      And much better would be if bishop to e1, magnus'rook gets threatened by Gotham's f8 rook, not exchanging would result in checkmate but if exchanges, with rook standing at e8, still checkmate until and unless he moves his pawn forward

    • @saisidhardhnimishakavi8102
      @saisidhardhnimishakavi8102 3 роки тому +2

      Well correct but, when Magnus moves to h1 Gotham moves e1 rook ( Correct) But....What if Magnus moves Rook on c7 to Rook c1 ? He can do that for sure cuz Re1 isn't a forcing move.
      Well there is a solution too..( Not sure if it would work) If Magnus plays Rc1 then Gotham can move the rook on f8 to e8 and magnus must make a move else Gotham can take Rf1 and pull the Re8. It didn't happen anyway tho.

      @@saisidhardhnimishakavi8102maybe but if black bishop to e1, then moving rook to c1 won't be useful cuz the horizontal way between both rooks would be already blocked by black bishop, and the next move of black would result in checkmate in all ways, am I right?

    I'm at a far, far lower level, but the lesson of this game is: don't give up. As I've gotten better at bullet (1500+ on Lichess), I find that I win a lot of lost games on time. I have a tendency to quit when I see a mate or one of my major pieces hanging, but in bullet so often, the opponent doesn't see it. If you play within the rules, a win is a win and if you don't, it means nothing.
