Beady had some absolute bangers
Beady Eye's problem was they were going up against Noel's excellent first two albums and they were always going to be unfairly be compared to what he was doing. If they were competing against Noel's more recent mid-life crisis music then I think Beady Eye could have been as successful as Liam's solo career has been over the past 6 or 7 years.

Beady eye were decent but for me had no oasis like anthems love this song if this was on an oasis record with some proper anthems it’d be sick it’s why they needed Noel
Honestly, the songs needed better lyrics, they should have played around and done something a touch more interesting instrumentally after the first chorus. They're music videos are all magnificent though.

I remember when this came out, it was a weird tune and a lot of people critiscized, everybody was expecting the same old late and tired Oasis - the band was the same minus Noel - and what we got was fresh air instead.
I remember running from school back home because there were no smartphones I could watch it on.
I was shocked but amused at the same time.

Liam's voice is golden! I adore his attitude so much that I try to find other bands with that iconic Oasis sound. The Irvin Band has achieved the brilliant Oasis sound! Hear their new single "Movie Screens", absolutely fantastic!
love it!!! Got that 50s rock feel that makes you tap you foot along to. I'm glad it doesn't sound like Oasis (and i'm a massive oasis fan!), it's something new and different. Album will suprise a lot of people.
You can't fault Liam's attitude to music, he's got energy, soul, attitude and brick to throw through your window whereas Noel is more a laid back comfy chair, cynicism and a smoking gun these days... neither are a bad thing.
You guys are nuts. This song is sweet. Fly black dancers all going Motown berserker with Billy Preston-esque keys. Dope.

I'm a ridiculously massive Maroon 5 fan, but then my other favourites are Metallica, Iron Maiden, Dream Theater, Oasis, and Slipknot. But I wouldn't touch the other musical monstrosities you mentioned with a barge pole, so take Maroon 5 off that list :P

+Stephen Owen Yes, I couldn't give much of a fuck about Beady Eye's stuff but occasionally Liam demonstrates that he's got a sweet ear for a tune. Not often enough to make him a top sonwriter, but this is good. And Songbird was beautiful - the best Oasis song post Morning Glory.
