I am whitewave Seneca Iroquois even today natives are looked at as an enemy I NEVER took anything from the government because of my red blood and never will. I do not see my friends the Iroquois Seneca as anything but kind generous people. Sure some folks are not nice. However they surely have their reasons their experiences. Every one of the people of the Senecas have always been gracious. I live very near the rez frequently visit events & friends You are not the enemy the government is not a friend. Not to the indigenous people nor to anyone actually! In the long story we are all humans We have different cultures and beliefs yet we are all brothers and sisters on the broken world. I always keep our Native ancestors of all tribes in my heart, thoughts n prayers. My late Uncle Enos had tld me how they were beaten n whipped every time they spoke our Shoshone n Paiute languages when they first started school, which was so horrible n cruel bc they were just learning to speak English. I had once asked my aunts n uncle why they weren't teaching my bros, I n cousins our languages, they had always spoken around us but never to us, an aunt said that it was so we'd be able to learn how to live in the white man's world. It turned out not being so good, we still tried to learn by listening to them speak. I remember how our mom had always spoken to us as kids, she was teaching us but we lost her to alcoholism when she was only 27 n we were 4 to 8 yo, yrs later lost my 4 bros to suicides n murders in 1980-88, my dad also to alcoholism in 92. I do have my half sister left, she's 4 yrs younger, she was taken by a white LDS family when she was a baby, I was around 5/6. I've never met her, one of my bros was able to see her while I n one of our older bros were attending boarding schools. Unfortunately it was only a 15 minute visit, her foster family were afraid of being hassled bc they were white, which they had no need to worry about. I hope n pray that we can one day finally meet, she's my only immediate family left. Because I left for boarding school, married n lived in AZ for 5 yrs then left for a lil city for sch, training n work, I had forgotten a lot of our languages. Now that so many of our family have passed n those who're left along with so many of our ppl dnt speak much anymore. I have 7 grandkids 2 mos to 8 yo, my oldest has been learning our Shoshone n Paiute languages as well as round dance, hand drum songs, she sings them for me a lot n she's been teaching her bros n sisters, she's the oldest. I truly miss the old yrs, we had such a large family, 7 aunts, 6 uncles, all of my grandparents, 31 first cousins, all of our other families. Sadly, a jealous woman who was turned down by my grampa took her revenge out on his sons n grandsons using bad medicine on our male family members, he lost his 7 sons, grandsons, my 4 bros n few male cousins to violent alcohol related deaths deaths (It's more than cruel how alcohol was used against all Native Ppl bc of greed, from generation to generation it still overtakes so many if our Ppl. Thanks to Creator today there are many of our Native Ppl who continue to walk the path of sobriety, Red Road, I'm so blessed to be one along with many, that vicious cycle has changed n continues to end for many of us, also becoming stronger with each generation, for our ancestors.) Fortunately they were blessed with their kids n grandkids, also considered as my kids n grandkids. I pray for all Native tribes ancestors along with families who've gone on n those who're remain, God bless*
I understand your pain, but this is the pain of war and being conquered. All lands in the past have been conquered by one nation or the other, one religion or the other, that was the way of the past. But for those of you who are still harbor anger over the past loss in war, it is futile and wasteful. Accept the reality of the past and move on. Our ancestors would want this.

Some tribes, clans and peoples were either assimilated or destroyed and never heard of again. This even has been happening in the last few decades in South America and Southeast Asia. Most likely some parts of Africa too. It's a travesty. I'm not very proud of my heritage as well. My ancestors devastated Mexico and South America. But it it is was it is. But don't forget that the White Man could not have conquered this land without help from other Native Tribes. It was that way in Mexico as well.

it saddens me how ignorant people are when it comes to Native American history and culture. not all native American tribes were peace-loving or living in harmony. yes, Europeans are a fucked up race, but that shit was inevitable. The mrs I've seen shocking treatment in the 1980s I ran out of a store in shock going after a women 3 times in a small town and said to each woman where I live I'm on vacation here these aren't my people so look where I live you are not ever treated this way and are shown great respect so dont not believe what these women here want you to believe do not feel broken and I did it in shock see FAMILY of 6 girls sometimes some one has to now the lawn and loves the out doors and yes we played cowboys and Indians someone had to be both and as kids growing up my best friend at the time was and is a native american so she was a rich woman and very classy so I have no idea how that state treated there different races but we found very exciting
I never understood why the Indians burned and killed the white settlers. I really like Indian story's they were good in many ways. Hardship to where they ate dog. THEY were so hungry. But how they lived and their culture always interest me a lot. I HAVE A sister in LAW that is BLACKFOOT I HAVE never heard of that tribe how much BLACKFOOT she has I her I do not know but she truly looks Indian a lot.

Even though the people are living with so many issues, existing on the most minimal that the stingy government will give them to live, in squalor, filth, third world conditions, I truly believe that the Indigenous people need to join forces & resouces. They need to go back to communal living which in itself is a major sacrifice. I always keep our Native ancestors of all tribes in my heart, thoughts n prayers. My late Uncle Enos had tld me how they were beaten n whipped every time they spoke our Shoshone n Paiute languages when they first started school, which was so horrible n cruel bc they were just learning to speak English. I had once asked my aunts n uncle why they weren't teaching my bros, I n cousins our languages, they had always spoken around us but never to us, an aunt said that it was so we'd be able to learn how to live in the white man's world. It turned out not being so good, we still tried to learn by listening to them speak. I remember how our mom had always spoken to us as kids, she was teaching us but we lost her to alcoholism when she was only 27 n we were 4 to 8 yo, yrs later lost my 4 bros to suicides n murders in 1980-88, my dad also to alcoholism in 92. I do have my half sister left, she's 4 yrs younger, she was taken by a white LDS family when she was a baby, I was around 5/6. I've never met her, one of my bros was able to see her while I n one of our older bros were attending boarding schools. Unfortunately it was only a 15 minute visit, her foster family were afraid of being hassled bc they were white, which they had no need to worry about. I hope n pray that we can one day finally meet, she's my only immediate family left. Because I left for boarding school, married n lived in AZ for 5 yrs then left for a lil city for sch, training n work, I had forgotten a lot of our languages. Now that so many of our family have passed n those who're left along with so many of our ppl dnt speak much anymore. I have 7 grandkids 2 mos to 8 yo, my oldest has been learning our Shoshone n Paiute languages as well as round dance, hand drum songs, she sings them for me a lot n she's been teaching her bros n sisters, she's the oldest. I truly miss the old yrs, we had such a large family, 7 aunts, 6 uncles, all of my grandparents, 31 first cousins, all of our other families. Sadly, a jealous woman who was turned down by my grampa took her revenge out on his sons n grandsons using bad medicine on our male family members, he lost his 7 sons, grandsons, my 4 bros n few male cousins to violent alcohol related deaths deaths (It's more than cruel how alcohol was used against all Native Ppl bc of greed, from generation to generation it still overtakes so many if our Ppl. Thanks to Creator today there are many of our Native Ppl who continue to walk the path of sobriety, Red Road, I'm so blessed to be one along with many, that vicious cycle has changed n continues to end for many of us, also becoming stronger with each generation, for our ancestors.) You've got that right bill davis. Even though the people are living with so many issues, existing on the most minimal that the stingy government will give them to live, in squalor, filth, third world conditions, I truly believe that the Indigenous people need to join forces & resouces. They need to go back to communal living which in itself is a major sacrifice. A realistic time frame plan needs to be constructed so that efforts aren't being wasted & it's a good way to measure progress and everyone can see for themselves if objectives are being met or not. It is also a means to show who is slacking in their commitments. It may even highlight where the weaknesses are. It may even indicate where more man power and or resources are needed. When everyone can see what the end result is, this does inspire people to make an effort, to commit to that plan, to contribute equally in finances, labour force & responsibility for the whole community. Identifying what skill sets are within each group & start from there. Knowing & understanding the constitution that the american system is based on, will be your best shot of achieving self determination from the control of the federal system. wen u hav things to offer or give then others want to be around u to either use u or mayb their dependant on something u have .but when u hav nothing nobody wants anything to do with u.in this modern age we r only valued for wat we have.our with is based on money .many relationships fail cos of money issues.if we hav unconditional love then we r loved accepted for who we r and not on how much money we hav.do ukmkw those peple who.ask the same questions?😎 u think.thdy care but they dnt and they ask wat do u do for work and ask dumb questions like those r the most important things .stereo type peple who r not spiritual and hav no depth in their life and r the middl class stereo types .they r not spiritual and they talk about stupid things .oh hows ur New job ? how's the new home? so is ur son or Daughter workinh? then they talk about money struggles and their friends New Baby .u know the type.if they ask r u working and u say no then usually they lose interest and the conversation ends.if u say yes they ask wat u do and those dumb asss questions.especially those Bros or sis that don't really care about us they pretend to be polite.when they come to visit mostly a hello or goodbye but they come to visit ur parents and chat for a while about things ur own.parents don't tallk to.u about ..but these siblings never want to.hav a proper conversation to.us and ask about life ..u know that stuk.up.midl.class type?they invite u over for their b'day or their son or daughters b'day only cos they don't want to be rude and invite us cos our parents r there but if our parents weren't around then they wudnt even consider inviting u over.the pretend to care type who act but we see thru this act and see their fakeness.the type that never call u they only call ur mum dad and never ask about u or ask to.tallk to.u as if u dnt exist.but when u pick up the phone.they pretend to care and ask how u going and wat ur doing but hav no idea wat uv been going thru all.these years cos they never cared to ask.u wud expect this from.a stranger but not a bro or sis .there the type who of u live alone ..they will never ever visit thr ttype who don't hav time for us but they hav time for everyone else.the type who will.hav a conversation with the rest ur family at the table or b'day party but don't include us or want to hear our point of view.when we do try and jump.in on the conversations they act as if ur not there and talk over u .they ask someone about who's a good chiropractor for a bad back.or hip.and nobody else goes to one but u do and u go often and u start talking and tell them.about it and they shut u down or pretend as if u never said anything.u offer ur advice but they look at u ad if u hav no experience or nothing to say .they act as if u know nothing when in fact I know more than they do about alot of things.but they never want to hear ur story or ur point of view.as if to say we dnt know wat the heck wer talking about right omg.the type whol chat to everyone else at the table or party and never tallk to u even if u try to talk to them.stereo type peple belong with stereo type peple.they r boring and rude .The type of bro or sis who will visit ur mum.dad and they will walk right past ur room and won't even acknowledge u or say hello and u dnt see them.for weeks and they visit for 5minutes then leave .b lucky to even get a goodbye .if u hav family like that it sucks especially when ur sick or hav back pain.and u dnt go out much .they still ignore us and do nothing for us.they dnt act like a bro or sis or even a friend.in time they only get worse and grow more distant.when ur at ur lowest in pain or having huge difficulties with health issues u never ever hear from.these peple they do not care at all .if u live with ur parents then u realise these things ..they only visit evry 2 weeks and ignore u and only visit to check up on ur parents for 5_10 mins.its disgusting behavior from.a blood sibling.they hav no time for us so I think.when I'm.in the spirit World I will do the same and not talk to.them.they can keep on walking by cos I'll remember that they had no time for me here and never cared .dnt hate them.just do wat they did here and hav nothing to do with them.in spirit.if peple ur family don't think.anything of u here them they r not worth knowing in heaven.trust me there r plenty of peple there who r worth knowing but these siblings or Family members r not .selfish peple .in heaven we will.meet much better caring souls than them.wat is upsetting is they pretend and its so obvious u already know they don't care but they don't know that u know so they keep on smiling and pretending as if we don't see thru their fakeness.if ur parents invite them for Sunday lunch and u mostly Cook lunch instead of mum.thdy won't notice.theybsay it's yummy and praise my.mum and shel.say I cooked it and go ohhhh and act surprised but won't giv me a compliment.their the type who will invite u for lunch once a twice year and order chinese.thdy won't Cook a home cooked meal.i leave as quik as I can haha go to a place and nobody talks to u like ur a ghost that's invisible.
