I saw them at the Fillmore in silver spring and they blew me away. The room basically explodes with energy and you become possessed by the raw emotion that is taka. (The LED bass is pretty sweet too)
Honestly after seeing One Ok Rock live this year all I can tell you is they are just as good if not better live. They just don't lose any energy as the show goes on. They give it 110% regardless of it being new or old songs.
Taka's voice is amazing. My friend called it ANGELIC voice. His range is wide and his high note is incredible ! I heard you mentioned Linkin Park. Yes, LP is one of their favorite band. Thank you for your clip !

The Beginning was the very first song I had heard by ONE OK ROCK years ago, and I instantly loved it. And it's what caused me to listen to more of their songs and then become a huge fan! I love a lot of their songs, but another I would recommend is "Ending Story??"
"The Beginning" was the very first ONE OK ROCK CD I bought back when I was in college in 2012, it was also my 2nd year knowing them. I didn't have much money back in that time and I remember I ate instant noodles for a month after buying the CD. I still can't believe I've been listening to their music for 9 years and I've met TONS OF FANS AROUND THE WORLD , and I'm pretty excited for going to Yokohama Arena seeing them in Japan for my 3rd time ,next month, November 6th! The music video got 140 million views which I think it's still "THE BEGINNING" for ONE OK ROCK!

They are great live! Mighty Long Fall, Taking Off, Clock Strikes, so many to choose from. Taka lives in the US. The band is working to be as big in the US as they are in Japan. The latest album was directed more at the US Market, and was much more commercial. Thus, there are a number of us that prefer their earlier material.
You can never go wrong with their live performances. Going to their concert is one of the wisest decision I've made! So anyway, please react to Wherever You Are. It never failed to tear me up.
They have a cool tour series on youtube where they play these songs with an orchestra, its awesome. Also, his little brother has his own band, called My First Story, which has sort of a similar sound. Highly recommend.
What i love about this band aside from the fact that there videos are amazing. There live performances are even better! Ive been to multiple concerts with the live....... even went back to the same ones in different city and still was amazed.

This song used to be One OK Rock's signature song internationally, though I don't know if that's still true anymore. They used to play this song last in their sets, but recently, they've exchanged it for We Are as their ending song. Their signature song in Japan is different, a song called Kanzen Kankaku Dreamer. Basically, this could be said to be the song that launched them into the international stage, because it was featured in the first Rurouni Kenshin movie, which is where most people outside of Japan, myself included, first heard of this song and this band. It was the lead single from their album, JinseixBoku=, which is their first album to gain worldwide popularity. It's currently their most popular song on UA-cam in terms of views. I still think that this song is One OK Rock's signature song because I've seen a lot of international fans recognize this song word-for-word even if they don't know some of the other OOR songs, but that's all just my personal experience. Both his parents are good singers and he is well known in japan. He speaks fluent english. Thats why he can sing pretty good in english.
