Trunk Recorder to Rdio Scanner with Ubuntu and Windows

This video will take you from fresh Ubuntu VM install all the way through compiling/configuring Trunk Recorder and then pushing that data over to Rdio Scanner so that you can listen at your leisure.

Great detailed video... I live near you and am also interested in monitoring TxWARN. Do you know if the AirSpy Mini would cover the NW Harris Co TxWARN channels?

I would plug the frequencies into here: tr.icarey.net/sdr_calc and then set the sample rate for an AirSpy Mini (which I believe can go up to 10MSPS). One thing to note about the AirSpys though is that the dropoff at the beginning and end of the 10MSPS spectrum is quite drastic, so if you are planning on monitoring frequencies far from the tuned center frequency, audio may not be great.

SDR Play RSP Duo have to Built in Turners, and is a Very High Quality SDR,
I have Both SDR Play RSP DX and Aldam Pluto Sdr Radios for DATV Video Receiption,

I have one of the OG RSP devices, unfortunately most things these days lack the driver support for the gen 1s. It was a nice device with a lot of spectrum though.

You know a way to import mp3s from sdrtrunk to trunk recorder in linux?

I haven’t tried to ingest anything into trunk recorder that it wasn’t monitoring itself. I do recommend joining the trunk recorder discord though and asking there:

That depends on the system you want to monitor. I am using 2 Airspy devices for mine. But you can use this tool to help determine how many and what frequencies: www.webby.site/sdr/
