When I first saw this I wondered if it was at all like Jo Malone's Peony & Blush Suede, or maybe a deeper version, like the night time version. That scent, especially the perfume I love for spring/summer. This definitely sounds like it it much deeper. I do love the packaging of this one. I love Dark Kiss. I have an Into The Night candle. I tend to like pear. Homeworx Honey Glazed Pear is one of my favorite fall scents. Have a great week!

I love this candle. This makes my dark and moody self very happy. Definitely a dark candle! Nope i dont get pear either and i do get amber.. almost a linen/cashmere type scent in the background as well. Its stunning in every sense..
By the way i just saw my HomeGoods got a ton of homeworx hand soaps in. Priced at 5.99-6.99. hopefully you run into them. I grabbed spun vanilla sugar. Lovely!!

Hi Melanie! This sounds pretty interesting. I have never smelled Dark Kiss, but I have a one-wick of Into The Night. I enjoy it, but in small doses... I can light it for a few hours and then I'm good for a while. Needless to say I've not made a big dent in it, lol. I was thinking this could be similar to a now discontinued BBW fragrance, Amber Blush, but this sounds darker and 'heavier', whereas Amber Blush was fruitier and a bit more candy-like, with maybe a hint of floral. I haven't smelled Amber Blush in a while and am going off my memory of a travel-sized shower gel. I need to take a trip to my nearest BBW and get a few summer candles. I don't remember if my store has Blush Amber and Peony still in stock, but I am interested in giving it a sniff if I come across it. Great review as always!!
P.S. I haven't burned a lot of candles with a pear note in them, but the ones that I have, they haven't smelled like body odor, neither with peach. Watermelon for me does! (I'm thinking specifically of the watermelon candle from Kringle/Country Candle)
Oh interesting Tommy! This is the first time I have heard someone say they get a BO note from watermelon! Aren't noses so funny? I totally agree that Into the Night can be a bit much. I love it but I can see where it would need to be in small doses for some!
This is my favourite BBW candle of 2024. I stocked up on it because I have a feeling that it’s not a popular one and won’t come back any time soon. It is so unconventional in today’s candle standards. I imagine that’s how a XVIII century courtesan’s boudoir would smell like. And the name of the candle doesn’t do it justice at all😊

This is my favorite candle release from BBW for this year. I bought like 10 of these and that’s rare for me to do nowadays. I also agree that if this was in body care, I’d buy it all. Great video and review! 😊

They do still have that one on line for 1095 into the night is a sigle wick that one is 1095 right now

Happy Sunday Mel. This one smells fantastic on cold. Hopefully this will be burned next Spring. I will be burning Cherry Blossom Pound Cake this Summer and I'll get back to you on it's strength, throw, and performance, it does have the thin wicks.

I burned this yesterday. I enjoy floral scents. I absolutely loved Dark Kiss. The mist is what I put on my night clothes. I have 2 bottles. Hopefully, it comes back. I do love the label. I don't smell pear. I agree with the strength. Have a great week ❌️⭕️
