    It doesn’t really work with my GH5 HLG. It crushes all. It could be also a timeline colour space adjustment.

      you should either use the CST or the Project color management

    Brother your videos are honestly really helpful but please write down the shortcuts you use on the screen. Like how you're disabling all the nodes at once.

    did you change anything in color management in the project settings? are you supposed to do this AND change the color management? i.e. color science and timeline color space

    • @MehranHadad

    If you want to add a node for a lut where would you place it?

    • @MehranHadad
      @MehranHadad Рік тому

      It depends what kind of lut you are going to use! If it's a correction lut , you add it before lift/gamma/gain node. If it's a creative lut, you will add it later after lift/gamma/gain.
      There is no rule , This is how I will do it

    Could this proper conversion be done in Adobe premiere?
    I use adobe premier for editing and grading.
    I wonder if I switch to to resolve for grading how the workflow between the two applications will be!

    • @MehranHadad
      @MehranHadad 2 роки тому +1

      As far as I know premiere doesn't support gamma and color space conversion but you can use conversion luts to do this instead! I do color grading in davinci, then export and do the editing in premiere

    i think rec2020 is a very large color space, there is no point in adjusting the footage captured in sony camera color space to it.

    • @MehranHadad

      It might be possible to some levels, but you might not achieve the same flattering results as you get here, because it would be better to convert the color space so you get accurate colors
