- Hundreds of thousands of people visit Ireland's National Marian Shrine at Knock, Co Mayo, each year. What draws so many pilgrims from Ireland and abroad to this place of prayer each year? Henry McGlade of Irish TV visited Knock recently to find out.
I love Knock. My granny and granda used to take us there during the Summer holidays. I've always been struck by the quiet stillness of the place. I still drive down there once or twice a year and say a prayer for my grandparents.

i'm from Ireland ( Belfast) but living in Canada NOW and I've been to knock 2016/2017 unable to go aug 2018 because of flight problems BUT I WILL BE BACK SOON.

I seen our lady at the top of sliabh bàn 56 times since 1898 she gives me a bag of roses sweets on every occasion, she's so sound. On the 55th time 2017, 21st of March at 14:23pm she gave me a 2.6kg bag of coke, unbelievable stuff it was, I shared it with 12 neighbours, kinda like the last supper

knock is one of the four marian shrines in the world . after lourdes. fatima . medugoria all beaufuil places of workship and faith . if you have faith you will be cured .knock shrine is fabulous and our lady of knock comes to you when you vist her shrine.
