Wei exposing the whole story of Genshin Impact but still saying "not to be taken seriously" so that no one know he's actually an undercover agent at mihoyo, real big brain time
I always had problem with paimon being unknown god. She destroyed civilizations cuz they were being arrogant and i don't think she would turn herself into that flying, squeaky child and people mocks her, she would instantly snap 💀
Well i think paimon is a fragment of the unknown god that probably got separated from her during the cataclysm. They kinda have the same "time" theme and white hair and I think paimon herself is unaware of it
If you think about it, goblets also have the ability to hold all the elemental powers like pyro dmg bonus, hydro dmg bonus, etc. Goblets can be filled with anything just like how Aether can be the vessel of every element because his name represents the god of space/void
I started to think here, with the coming of Sumero, the aranaras revealed that we are the fourth travelers from another world, so, having 3 previous ones, it was never said that someone had a power like ours, even in the past, so you can assume that these 3 had powers related to the other gods. And, because we can choose between Lumine and Aether, we don't stop to think, but our sister(or brother) is the fifth traveler, and he probably doesn't have the power to control all the elements like Aether.
@@joisaita6522 Uh they actually do look similar. They both have white hair, Paimon has a scarf with blue stars, while the Unknown God have a cape with red stars, and Paimon's hairpin is the same star shape as the distortions in space that the Unknown God appears from, and the two characters both have gilded accessories and a darker cowl or scarf around their shoulders. So yeah
@@danielvicol3992 MatPat and Wei both had their fair share of incorrect theories, or theories that were factually correct but twisted the conclusion to make them more dramatic. Prioritizing entretainment is fine and all, but if they went around trying to sell their theories as facts they'd be no different than the toxic little shits on social medias nowadays.
@@SonnyFRST That is why Iza's comment is far from the truth. Wei didn't reveal the entire plotline of Genshin. Wei made a theory that is not set in stone and could very well be wrong.
Yeah Wei's theories don't make a lot of sense like from the Makoto video, how was Istaroth supposed to be in that cataclysm if Istaroth came from the First Who Came, and the current Celestia is the Second Who Came. Since Istaroth and the other Shades are made by Phanes, if Phanes dies, they should have died as well.
It hit me! The "Arrogation" that she mentioned. Her and Dain seem to use similar blue abilities for keeping people in place. Perhaps the thing humanity "stole" was power! She believes the power that her and the og gods hold solely belong to them, and because Khane'riah was going to use her own power against her, she felt betrayed, so in a fit of rage, she destroyed them. Khane'rians seem to have a spatial theme to them as well...
I never assumed Paimon was the unknown God, but I've always wondered if Paimon is some kind of other forgotten god. I mean, she has supernatural powers and she's unlike anyone else in Teyvat, and nobody seems to have any connection to her, so she has to be either connected to Celestia and/or godhood. Another theoretically possible option is that she's somehow connected to Khanriah (the resmeblence between hers and Dainsleif's starry cloak seemed a bit odd to me), but that feels less likely.
theres a theory that she is the primordial one in a weakened state as the primordial one wears a crown and has wings. it reminds of guoba, he was originally the god marchsious(i cant spell his name) but lost his powers and grew small. paimon is small and has some kind of powers. isaroth is the god of time, but when we click on the menu painon seems to freeze time. we found paimon at the exact same beach where isatoth was born. theres also a theory that shes ones of the moonsisters( basically who gave teyvat energy) she looks oddly similar to the welking moon and also her stars on her cape. i've seen people saying she is the seelie ancestor. there are so many possibilites for her, but we just gotta wait for hoyoverse to gives us a story on paimon
The goblet being related to Aether is a pretty good theory. Aether can hypothetically use all elements if he finds all Archon statues, and that’s kinda like how you could put anything in a goblet, as long as you have that thing.
@@Wolfinityy yes, good point indeed. edit: hehe I got a dendro goblet for my Aether. His off-field damage is impressive paired with my Hu Tao and Xingqui. If only I had electro characters but like my only electro characters are Lisa and Fischl.
Paimon is probably the Seelie ancestor, who fell in love with the traveler. It explains why she is both clueless, but knows a lot. Her memory was wiped. I believe the twins are related to Phanes somehow.
I know I’m late but I really need to say this that you are so freaking smart, and meticulous like I’m seriously mind blown and want to start doing my own research and looking into things as much as you do! Thanks for all of your hard work look forward to the rest!
i still think its weird how paimon knows everything about teyvat, but nobody in teyvat knows about her. also, the whole "drowning" thing is really confusing. isnt she able to float? i'm not saying she's the unknown god, i'm saying she's probably not who we think she is and may be more important to the story later on
My theory is that she is a spy sent by celestia, wether or not she is aware of it doesn't matter, she is like a camera of the heavens, but i suspect she does not know anything and her knowledge of Teyvat is just something she inherited as a creation from Celestia.
Not only Paimon looks so different from everyone in Mondstadt. I don't think Paimon knows much about other places beside Mondstadt. She seems to be so confused almost as much as us. But she seems to know a little more when it comes to magical things. So maybe Paimon is a goddess or got banned? Maybe even lost her memory!
I was researching in the same area in these days and found out something interesting. In Greek Mythology, Aether is the god of space/sky, son of Chaos and brother of goddess Hemera, the goddess of Light. Another thing I found out in Greek Mythology regards the seelie achievements in the Chasm: Phosphoros (meaning: Light bringer) was the Star of the Morning, a male divinity brother to Hesperos, the Star of the Evening, also a male divinity. Later the Ancient Greeks found out that Hesperos and Phosphoros were the same thing: the Light from the Sun that reflected from the planet Venus. *Maybe this is why the devs say that there's not fixed MC, that both Aether and Lumine are MC because they're like Phosphoros and Hesperos, two manifestations of the same thing. Phosphoros also gives the name to a very unique chemical element, Phosphorus. This element has the peculiar characteristic of having 4 colours (different allotropes): Black - Nigredo White - Albedo Gold - Citrinitas Red - Rubedo Edit: new stuff I just thought about sry
Uff that's a good theory. And sibling wise I always felt its in the pokemon principle. Who you choose is the canon one. But yeah your theory is amazing
i love being a souls and a genshin fan. lore videos are ridiculous. you go from striking, narrative masterpieces of storytelling that could put audible to shame, to HYPER sensationalized, bright visuals that almost seem like a commercial. im crying, and i love this, and i love you, thank you
Hear me out: As Wei said, if you search for the god of space Aether comes as a result and if you search the meaning of lumine which corresponds to the word luminous which means light or intensity of light. So, I believe Aether must be the god of space while lumine is the god of light. Space and light are the two things which surrounds the whole universe. If you consider Aether as your main mc, the reason why Aether can control all the seven elements so easily because he is the god of space and everything exists in space. Also, in “We will be united quest” considering Aether as mc you can see lumine outfit glows white in the outfit parts where respective elements Color is shown. For example- if you are controlling anemo element then the outfit glows with green Color and so on. If they are not the original god and space and time then might be their successor. Since, lumine did not lose her powers she is more powerful than anyone in Teyvat and that might be the reason Abyss follows her orders while Aether struggled a lot in defeating Abyss Herald in his first encounter due to the absence of his powers. He might gain his power back somehow by completing his journey and maybe that’s why Lumine told Aether to complete his journey. They are not normal humans for sure because they travel from world to world like a child’s play and their age is definitely not under 18 like they appears to be. This is my theory, I might be wrong but this is what I feel 😁. Thank you for reading till the end 🤗🤗🤗. Edit : We don’t know the unknown god story told by Aether is actually true because he might have made this story up to Paimon and he himself might be the unknown god and he is hiding under a cover who knows. It’s clear that Aether is hiding a lot of things and maybe that’s the reason he speaks so less.
Rather than gods, the Travelers are living stars: they may have godly abilities but they are without a home and thus without any domain nor dominion to call their own. They are alien to Teyvat. The gods of Teyvat are also alien to it, coming from other worlds (humans are also non-native to Teyvat, likely coming to it with or at the guidance of Phanes). These aliens MADE themselves gods by usurping their predecessors: Phanes defeated the vishap/dragon sovereigns and was, in turn, ousted by The Second One (who is either of Celestia or was usurped by it). The Travelers have not sought godhood for themselves nor have they (yet) been deified by Teyvat or its inhabitants. It IS possible that the original world from which the Travelers fled was once the home of Phanes, The Second One, the humans who found refuge in Teyvat, &/or the founders of Celestia: the apocalypse they escaped could be the one the Travelers fled or a preceeding Doom. The nature of space-travel means that one exists outside of time: time is experienced differently and, across lightyears, what is weeks to the Travelers would be years (decades, centuries, minutes) to the worlds they leave or arrive to. This on its own is an explanation for their youth, outside factors of "what" the Travelers are or how their powers have changed them. So with space-travel, it is entirely plausible that the Travelers & Celestia escaped the same calamity but have experienced the time since differently: millennia has passed for Celestia, settled in Teyvat, while only decades have been lived by the Travelers. (there's a lot of Actual Science & Math to this but I'm only familiar with the use of space-time youth/immortality from its appearances in science fiction, mostly vague recollections of reading Speaker For The Dead)
@@BattyButtercup I am thinking they must have chosen the name Aether for a reason. The name Lumine for her sister and her powers goes well with your theory. But Aether feels different idk 🤷♂️ .
Doesn't anyone think it's weird that every person that meets paimon for the first time, never finds it unusual that she is floating in space and stuff? Like she is the most unique being you probably get to see in you're entire life and everyone is so casual about it?
I ask that same thing. Paimon does get questioned about it though. I haven't gotten that far into the game but the most notable one for me is Dain in the prelude to Act 4 Chapter 2, and he just shrugs it off afterwards. Guess that in a world full of magic everything is just pretty much accepted. Can't blame them.
When I was a total newbie to genshin I thought that the unknown god looked pretty similar to kiana and I said "that looks so much like the mc from honkai" since I saw many adds from honkai before starting genshin. That you now make a theory about this is cool :) Still I sort of think that paimon is connected to the unknown god and the whole leyline system.
Paimon lost her memories; she travels with us while gaining fragments of knowledge like how ley lines create illusions. She said being our companion can help her discover herself too. Wei made a video relating Paimon to the ley lines if you haven't watched it! :)
@@mangoonie I don't know if Paimon has anything to do with Aponia, I only know that Aponia has a lot to do with Genshin, as they have a statue of her in Inazuma.
its so interesting the fact that “空” has three meanings and it contains “Sky” or “Emptiness” and in Honkai Impact, the Herrscher of Void is pronounced as “Sora no Ritsusha” in japanese romanji. And keep in mind “Sora” is “空” in japanese. And “Ritsusha” as “Herrscher”
@@starpeep5769 well the sky is just the atmosphere, which is the usually livable barrier between planets and "space", so it is space itself and thus empty.
I must admit, I'm a bit curious, wouldn't that make Unknown God the Second who came, because she replaced Aether (Who I'm assuming was the original god of Space)? Giving her ample reason to vanquish the pair.
I think aether as a shade of a shade So you know Primodrial one have four shades and one of them Wei theorised that is the Unkown God? Maybe Unkown God’s Distant Relative is Aether Update: They could be the third who came but still have connections with teyvat.
I'm not sure about this, but I think he Wei mentioned in his other videos that "The Twins" is actually the third who came. Idk if they are considered one entity or two thought, I forgot.
One thing which made me think is how most of the time mihoyo always uses aether as the traveler we play and lumine as lost sibling. I think both of them has an set role in the story. Aether is SUPPOSED to search for lumine. This always made me think
@@KawaiiJammybut there's evidence against it too , in the early stages of the game they used lumine as a "mascot" instead of aether . so there's really no point in assuming cs hoyo is clearly backwards

I appreciate your hard work you put into these and you open my eyes and i see some much more than before when i started playing. Thank you and i hope to see more and more in the future.
There is a character called Su in Honkai impact, in one of his dialogues with Mei in the Elysian realm he said He once felt the presence of someone else similar to him while he was doing something while using his powers to gaze into something (He has psychic powers), The person was the female version of him who has a great malice and he also described her power as something which ensnared the entire earth which was a greater spiritual power than him. It may be possible that the other version of him is the Dendro archon or from a different bubble universe. So it maybe be possible that the unknown god is the different version of the herscher of the void.

Still staying faithful to the "Paimon is one of the Moon Sisters" theory, especially after the latest revelation about people shrinking back to a childish form after using too much power. The Moon Sisters, from what i read, were more like powerful priestess, and they were here before Celestia, and it fits with Paimon design (the starry cloak related to the pattern from the magic of older forgotten nations like Khaenri'ah, the star in her hair, her crown which looks like many architectural points of the old civilisations, may it be at Enkanomiya, Dragonspine or The Chasm, and the symbol on her dress). If I'm not mistaking, the symbol on her dress is realted to what we call the Gordian Knot, which is believed to help enlighten people's mind (like a priestess would do), and it's supposed to be a symbol of three forces (negative, positive and neutral) and the Moon Sisters were.... 3. Now I'm still not sure if I want to believe she is a fusion of all three, or one of them (most probably the one that represent "neutral", so she could do anything in the future ?)... But it would explain why she knows many things, yet ignore so much too. She used too much of her power for something very important, and like the Aranaras and Kusanali shrinked and lost a huge part of her memory ? Also her And if she's not a Moon Sister, the only theory I belive for now too is about her being the Primordial Goddess, because... just her name. Paimon is a demon that knows everything and is described as "binding Others to One's Will" (to destiny's will ?), and she would have been weakened by Celestia when they arrived... Yet, as she shrinked and lost most of her memories, she would still have remembered that the thing that permitted Celestia to be established was a foreigner to Teyvat, something from another world, and that's why she would have seek the Traveler by instinct. There's also the thing that say that even if Paimon is an unique being, people aren't that questionning about it because a creation would recognize and accept their God as it is. Like she's a little talking fairy but... well yes, a little talking fairy, and that's all, no problem.
I honestly love how you did all research even in different languages to find the identify of the unknown God. Plus, I love the music (especially The Detective Conan theme)
Your story telling in these videos are amazing. Without even saying a word, writing paragraphs, or even using text to speech. Well done Sir. Well done.
I love the editing and presentation of this video. The constant change in music with pop-ups of information coming from everywhere is so hilarious and entertaining, all while being presented so much Genshin LORE. Truly remarkable.
This actual makes so much sense. Also, in Aethers idle animation, he summons these blue and purple symbols that look like constellations. And where do you find constellations? IN SPACE! I feel like this also kind of proves he is the god of space.
I think that's Aether looking at other party members' constellations and thinking of new combos. Like players do when they open a character's constellation page.
(First of all, I must say that I use a translator so that you can understand me, I am from Argentina and a big fan of Genshin Impact, but my English is not very good so to speak but I hope you understand me, thank you.) I don't think so, remember that Genshin Impact is about two twin brothers (Aether the older and Lumine the younger) and they both travel throughout the universe visiting new worlds, since their home world was destroyed and they travel together, and in the opening cinematic In the game you can see two stars (Lumine and Aether) demonstrating how they could travel from one place to another, but before unknown god separates us from our brother/sister, only Aether/Lumine will be left with Paimon, but it is not only Aether who has the animation of blue and purple symbols that are similar to constellations, LUMINE also has that ANIMATION of constellations. Since I played Genshin Impact on both accounts (one being Aether and the other Lumine) I looked at their differences and technically their inactivity animations they are EQUAL, they both yawn, they both take out constellations. ¿what do you think?
Aether : In Greek mythology, Aether also known as Acmon, is one of the primordial deities, the first-born elementals. His name means "light" in ancient Greek. Aether is the personification and elemental god of "the bright, glowing upper air of heaven. Lumine : lumine is a verb that means “to illuminate,” which makes sense because it comes from the Latin lux for “light.” Which is also means that the twin is one of the Shining shades Phanes created which is The god of Light
Another part is that the Primordial god ( based on Greek mythology) had a companion by the name " Athena" and is connected to time. And are good friends which makes you think about Aether and Paimon or Lumine. (Though just a theory and I'm not to sure..)
Actually, Phanes himself is the God of Light; his name means "to shine" or "to illuminate." So maybe Phanes got torn to shreds, as often happens in the Orphic mythology he originates from, and the two pieces are the twins Aether and Lumine?
I really like how MHY supposedly strung all that overarching, convoluted succession of hints and Easter eggs, just to justify reusing models. Absolutely Kekhoyo move lmao
Sounds even more believable if we take your previous theory about how the hypostatsis have energy sealed in them by an ability similar to her cubes, since they are the purest form of elemental energy and the goblet gives us elemental damage bonus
Theory: Herrcher of Void is a version of Unknown God who allowed Khaen'ria to continue doing research on the Void (Daisleif, Abbys Lector) and was subsequently taken by it. Unknown God in Genshin instead destroyed Khaen'ria, so they were never taken over.
@@starpeep5769 I mean, an alternate timeline, WAAAAY before anything related to Honkai began. The technology in Honkai is due in part to Khaen'ria's old experiments.
@@cetadel6597 the issue remains. The Herrscher of The Void is a possible 2nd Herrscher, but not in every timeline they even have the same abilities. Herrschers start to emerge when Humanity gets to far in their achievements, which in the Honkai world, at the earliest is noted to happen in the 20th century. If we go by your theory, Khaen'ria mustve been in Honkai world at some point - but in no way they were allowed to keep existing by the Herrscher of the Void, because they must have existed way before the 20th century. Additionally, Herrscher of the Void is the Second Herrscher and emerged in early 21st century anyways. The conciousness of the Herrscher does not even exist before the Herrscher emerges in physical form, or rather befalls a human. If you carry over your theory to the general Will of Honkai that All Herrschers emerge from, instead of HoV, it makes significantly more sense, as the Will of Honkai is what wants to destroy Humanity. You saying "I mean in an alternate timeline" indicates an alternate universe that is neither Genshin nor Honkai- which wouldnt make it a theory but a fanfiction. Fact is that in the ACTUAL Honkai games, something like that never rook place. We actually know pretty precisely what happened centuries before the actualy game events, even Eras before the actual game events. Your Theory doesnt fit in. I don't mean to talk your idea down, its just not a believable theory if you know enough about the Honkai lore. Your idea would probably make a nice fanfiction, just cross HoV and Unknown God being the same person.
well if aether is god of Space well lumine means illuminate or to Light up, so she might be the God of Light, then there is this god of Void which is the same as Darkness meaning the void are mortal enemies of both Space and Light
I don’t really know about Paimon being the unknown god. But what if she is one of the previous 5 gods? Like she has a crown, and details you can see in the title screen which seem important. Also she’s a complete enigma of a creature. A little girl that floats and can disappear… very strange and not really seen anywhere else. Even the intelligent Albedo seems to know nothing about her. So she is obviously a unique being. That doesn’t necessarily point her to being a god, but it is at least a likely possibility. I imagine something must’ve happened to her for her to turn into a squeaky voiced midget gluttonous emergency food, unless she really was like that supposing she was a god.
Paimon reminds me of Kusanali and Rukkhadevata, i think its possible that she used to be very powerful and was like Rukkhadevata and then probably got kicked out of celestia or she escaped. Then she lost her powers somehow and turned into this form we all know (like Kusanali)
I've always had this thought itching my brain ever since the Phanes and 4 shades being related to the artifacts theory: Could 3 of the 4 shades have betrayed the Primordial One? Since some of the other theories state that the Primordial One had been defeated by The Second One Who Came, I've found it quite weird that the Second One, who didn't have any companions or allies that were mentioned, was able to defeat the Primordial One along with his 4 shades. (ofc this point would be nonsense if the Second One didn't defeat Primordial One, it's just another theory). This is also based on the theory that the current Celestia is the Second One's Celestia and not the Primordial One's. Another point is that it was mentioned that only Istaroth helped humans, so where were the other 3 shades? Why didn't they help the humans? Why was Istaroth the only one to help? In another video from Wei, it was theorised that the other 2 artifacts (flower and feather) are related to the God of Life and the God of Death. If we look at the Khaenri'ah people's curse from the newest archon quest in chasm, we know that they have been cursed with "immortality". And if we look at the archons, they're affected by "erosion" that was put on them by the heavenly principles (Celestia/Unknown God's affiliation). I am not sure if this immortality curse and the erosion are the same, since both are tied to the passage of time (which would fall under Istaroth's power), but both also fall under the manipulation of life and death (the erosion one maybe not so, but it's also only affecting those who are already immortal, like Archons/Gods). So the Khaenri'ah people being cursed by Celestia to live an immortal life seems like something that would be the powers of Life and Death. And since this video heavily ties the God of Space to Unknown God, who is considered to belong to Celestia, we could consider that 3 of the 4 shades no longer belong to the Primordial One. again, this was just a random thought. There are still many questions like: Why would they betray Primordial One in the first place? There is nothing we could think of that Second One could offer to the Shades for them to switch sides (for now.) Why would Istaroth be the only outlier? Why would she not go along with the other 3 shades? Why would they not help humanity anymore? This might as well end up as some nonsense, but it would definitely be a plot twist in the Primordial One vs Second One story. Anyways, lots of questions. I'm really looking forward to the conclusion of these stories. And as always great video! :D
You just said what was in my mind, that would make sense since unknown god looks "corrupted" maybe the second who came corrupted 3 shades to battle phanes. And on this theory of 3 shades betraying Phanes, I don't know where, but I read about a "betrayal" something like "and the catastrophe began after a betrayal" I remember that is something about the 3 moons and the battle of phanes and the second who came. I believe that Wei got a true lore thing, making that betrayal theory even more close to reality
could istaroth be paimon, cause she can manipulate time and she was found in a pond by us. this could mean that she was good and was defeated along with the primordial one.
Yeah, the betrayal of the 3 shades theory actually make sense. Also, in the manga (CMIIW), when Vanessa asked Venti about Celestia, in Venti’s mind there’s THREE SUS FIGURE.
You know this theory actually makes sense because in the manga venti did thought about 3 hooded figures when they were talking about celestia This would imply that the higher beings in celestia is a trio, so this would fit perfectly if 3 out of 4 shades betrayed the primordial one and tried to sealed them away because they can't truly kill the primordial one, thus they were sealed if you continue the parallels with Honkai, paimon is a lot like Higokumaru, both didn't remember who they were, they both thought themselves as human and didn't really liked when they're called a fairy/pixie like being and they're both weakened, Higokumaru being the Herrscher of corruption and Paimon being the primordial one respectively
Okay... here's a crazy theory I just now realized after watching this video. So, remember in the Chapter II of Raiden Shogun's story quest and (I think) a small part of the Sacred Sakura storyline, they were talking about an "overwhelming force of darkness" or "creatures that were never seen before"? My theory is that when Khaen'riah happened (the whole dismantling of the nation thing), honkai beasts (yes, I mean the regular mobs from HI3rd) were unleashed upon the world as a Herrscher (could be a parralel universe Sirin) was wreaking havoc. This in theory could also signify that the Celestia we see in the very beginning of the game to be part of the Imaginary Space where Herrschers (Gods here) can freeroam through it. Whereas the Celestia we see in-game is more of a front as to hide the real one.
Everybody sees Wei’s disclaimer that not all of his theories are true but I know it’s not just me that’s taking everything he said to be true because it makes so much sense all the time💀
alternative theory: Lumine is the god representing the flower of life because of the flower she wears, and Aether is the goblet god the reason he doesnt know this is because he doesnt remember, probably lost his memories
I refused really hard that the Unknown God was Paimon now u proved that Paimon isnt the Unknown God (if she does turn out to be the Unknown God by the end of the story I will become a depressed emo chicken) Edit: omg i suck at spelling wtf 😭 Edit 2: Here's something I wanna ask: Why isn't Paimon just.. Y'know, Paimon? Why do we have to theorize her maybe being some sort of God or Seelie? I'm not saying the theory of Paimon being the God of Time or being The Sustainer is wrong, but more of asking where did that theory come from? I will be clear: I do not hate or disapprove of these theories, I just want to ask why exactly.
maybe people that call sustainer is paimon , they still new to the game, and not reaching enkanomiya yet, or they just lazy to read the book in game, and just skip every dialog
What if it could be taken more literally and Aether himself is the god of space? He also has the star shapes on his clothes and his "vision" in character menu. What if he and Lumine are one of the 4 gods and Lumine's artifact is the flower?
I'm not really a pro theorist and all and there may be a lot of loopholes in my theory but I think aether and lumine would be part of the shades cause they came to teyvat much earlier than the current timeline and may be part of teyvats creation. But from the starting game, it states that the traveller fell down to teyvat already after khaenriah fell so maybe istaroth had to do something with it and changed the twins' timelines last second?
@@нтѕяєму Its not said when did they arrive but we can tell the possible shortest time they've been on Teyvat is 500 years because twins witnessed the fall of Khaenri'ah. One of the twins was awake for a long time and they woke up the other one when the cataclysm happened to escape
I never noticed those crowns before, but they sure do look like Paimon's halo, since u pointed it out. My logic is that Paimon might be connected to Khanariah, which would explain her unique appearance and memory loss. And judging from fit I would even dare to assume she might be a royal or something among those lines. But it also could be possible that she might as very well be one of the ancient gods as well (as so far, we saw a bird as god, so why not add Paimon in it as well). Regardless, I am pretty sure she will play a big role one way or another in final arcs even if she does only become our last emergency food for us to survive and destroy our twin. However, I am more interested in twins than any of these tbh. Who are they? Whey do they come from? What are they abilities? What were they doing before Tayvat? What are their reasons for staying there? Well, in 5 years we will find out u.u
Primordial One has wings and a crown. Paimon has a crown as well, and a wing-like galaxy cape. Can Paimon be one of the shades or maybe the Primordial One itself? It's a stretch but Primordial One has all the letters for Paimon. Also, if you would remember Paimon's previous art, she had a staff with wings.
i like this one, in addition, if you say "primordial one" fast enough it sounds a bir like "paimon" , something like a nickname maybe, an easier variation of her full name
@@caisychester8402 If you said primordial one fast and with the tone of Paimon calling herself "Paimon" or just her voice basically, it's sounds so similar.
One thing I’m still confused on is, if this is true and the Sustainer/Unknown God is a shade of the Primordial One, then why is it that she and 2 other shades are against humanity compared to Istaroth? Didn’t the Primordial One love humanity? So did the Second Who Came actually defeated the Primordial One? Is that why Celestia seems antagonistic to humanity, if they were the ones who defeated Phanes? But then why would 3 of the 4 shades seemingly obey Celestia while Istaroth seems to be the only Shade left that helps humanity? And why is the God of Space the one who is the “Sustainer” of Heavenly Principles?
"The Sustainer of Heavenly Principles" seems like a lie she told to us because Primordial One knows that we are needed in Teyvat and utilised the Shade of space to execute this excuse.
We actually don't really know whether unknown god is good or bad. When you think about it, if she's bad, then the twin probably already dead or become hillichurl but nope, we're fine af, our twin is still fine with keep power. So, knowing this is mhy, the story will be complicated enough to the point we can't actually know who's bad and who's good. So, it's unlikely that what we're seeing is good or bad.
I think the unknown god and the rest of the shades is not against humanity . Think carefully ,why would she block other gods (aether and lumine) from doing their journey .. it seems to me all the shades is doing something all behind the scenes to get ready to go against the "Second who came"
Bonus point… I just found out… aether is the god of light… and lumine is the goddess of moon…so like light means light ig… and moon means… dark? And if we see hoyoverse used aether as the teyvat twin… while they used lumine as the abyss twin… so like- Does this make up something?
have you ever considered talking about K.K? the misterious one who "talks" about the travelers in their cards? it looks like hes one of the flame chasers of honkai and is deeply involved in the project ARK (teyvat=ark)
If you watch the trailer, the unknown god, she gasps for a second before sending the traveller. Maybe she was sent to kill the twins but for a second she didnt and just split them apart, and as a punishment for that, the gods took her powers and turned her into what we know as pimon.
The theories are still amazing. However, I'm pretty invested on the story of the First Throne and the possibility that the Second Throne may have ousted it and took its place. The lore from the Enkanomiya books heavily suggest that to be the case and it would seem that the Second Who Came may be the cause of current Celestia's corruption.
there is this theory that paimon is the last living seelie and it makes a lot of sense, both seelies and paimon have a lot of similarities in design, etc... also according to the wiki seelies "guided the human race" and what does paimon do through out the game? Also im sure that at some point in the game she said that she never saw any being similar to her.
Wei did you notice the swirling symbol (looks like Avatar Air Nation symbol to me lmao) also looks like the swirling pattern in the Seelies' Capes/Tails? Since their lore is supposed to be helping humans back in the day, do you think they're like, servants or retainers of the Primordial One?
I have to admit that this was one of the best and incredible explanations of the history of genshin because in this game we don't know if we are good or bad and therein lies the mystery but I only have one doubt that it will be in this game to hell because for false celestia kill the real one and bring 7 of the generals from hell who pretend to be gods and she dominates the position that is not hers well she has to come from somewhere the two one her and kiana when she got corrupted or is it a being we already know due to the names of the 7 that belong to a certain being and just my opinion
It is implied that the Traveler's Journey is one of good deeds, You help the people of that world to live better lives and leave Teyvat in a better condition than when you found it, both Venti and Zhongli have openly stated they want the Traveler to experience the world fully and to document everything, they didn't ask us to overthrow Celestia, or to reinstate Celestia's Authority, just to document the life we have in Teyvat. Venti very specifically warns us that it's the journey, not the destination we should be concerned about, they definitely want the MC to reach the end of their journey and want to save the world, rather than side with their sibling and potentially destroy it in the fallout of open war against Celestia. But it's already very clear that the MC's morals are pure compared to the Sibling who has reached a point of 'The ends justify the means'
Just something to add. I just finished watching honkai's animated short where kiana fights the herrscher of domination, at around 3:35 of the video there's a part there that shows the 5 crowns on the tree, just like the crowns on genshin's domains.
Since Aether is similar to the meaning of "Empty Cup" and the "void" reminds me how our traveller can hold different elements without the use of visions. Basically like a cup that can only contain one kind of liquid at the same time while being a vessel for anything.
At 6:39 you can see the kind of embers from the explosion still in the air, so this also means that what happened wasn't control over time, since that would cause the embers to move back towards the explosion. So the likely answer would be space control. Unless I'm thinking about this too deeply.
Just imagine HoYoVerse developers watching all these theory videos from all these channels. Anyway, your theory videos are amazing, you explain it so well and make it so simple and entertaining. Keep up the good work!
So I only played Honkai for its first year before I stopped, however I would like to input a couple things because there's a bit of similarities in terms of lore between Genshin and Honkai and a lot of considerations to look into when trying to connect the two: 1) The names of the playable characters in Honkai are called "Valkyries" - this can play a relevant role since Genshin's Teyvat seems to take place within Norse Mythology and can also play into my Khaenri'ah theory which I'll explain later 2) Our playable character being from Greek Mythology - I think the biggest thing this tells us is how big this game is actually going to be. If Teyvat is only a piece of Yggdrasil, imagine how big all of Yggdrasil will be. Now add on the fact that a Pantheon/Mt Olympus exists (assuming they didn't just implement different mythologies together with Yggdrasil being the "umbrella"). This means that the "Hoyoverse" is huge as hell. We did already get Japanese and Chinese themed areas so that can be a counter-arguement to this hypothesis since the Zodiacs (really just the Monkey King) as well as Izanagi and Izanami (as well as they're kids) would be next in line in terms of popularity. But to think of the possibility of a Mata Nui or even the inclusion of Indian Gods is some Fate/GO sh*t 3) Honkai sickness - This is where we get into big PP theories. In Honkai, there's this sickness, called Honkai, that has a 100% mortality rate. In terms of lore, I stopped playing the game so I don't know how far along they are, but what I do know is there is no cure for Honkai sickness and that the scientists of the game were harvesting antibodies from the infected. Going back to Genshin, the Khaenri'ah had somewhat of an apocalyptic event that not only wiped out everything in one timeline, but forced the Gods to go back and wipe out the entire civilization. What if Honkai is a prequel to Genshin rather than a parallel timeline? What if Honkai is the telling tale of the ancient civilization Khaenri'ah? Again, I haven't played Honkai in a while, so any hardcore Honkai player can debunk this but there's a couple things that point to this: --- The back of Ruin Guards and Ruin Hunters remind me of the stigmata of the Valkyries in Honkai. And if I remember correctly Ruin Guards/Hunters were the Khaenri'ahs doing and were weapons of war; similar to what the Valkyries of Honkai are (I can be overthinking this one honestly) --- Khaenri'ah was big on technology. Pretty self explanatory given the setting Honkai has --- What if the "zombie-like" entities in Genshin were just Honkai infected people? Honkai sickness symptoms include zombification --- What if the monsters during the "Gold" invasions were actually just Honkai Beasts? --- Herrshcers - I will explain this in the next point for the sake of organization 4) Herrschers - The concept of the Herrschers are the EXACT same as those with visions with one exception: Herrschers are influenced by the Will of Honkai whereas vision holders have their own ambitions connected to their vision, which, btw, is lost when the vision is taken away as seen in Inazuma (something to keep in the back of the mind). This is where the questions start --- What if the Herrschers were the Gods of the Primordial One (the first one, not the imposter)? --- What if what we fought at the beginning of Genshin IS Sirin, Herrscher of the void? I will continue this one in my next point 5) Kiana Kaslana - I still keep up with Honkai a bit, but I can't say I'm an expert in it in terms of its lore. So regarding Honkai, I'd ask any Honkai experts out there to help me out here. To keep the long story short for the sake of the length of this comment: Sirin is the name of the Herrscher of the Void, then it was revealed they were 2 different entities, then it was revealed that they truly became 2 different entities when Sirin was cloned by Otto Apocalypse and the cloned body was Kiana Kaslana, who is the main protagonist of Honkai. Which brings me to this; what we fought at the beginning IS Sirin. If memory serves me right, Kiana accidentally merged with the Herrscher of the End and destroyed reality and then in the new Honkaiverse, the Herrscher of the Void came to life when Sirin awakened her Herrscher powers which started a war between Houkai and humanity. She then went on to destroy multiple continents with moon debris, killing a lot of mankind before starting Armageddon My theory in all of this is that Aether and Lumine being from a completely different world and traveling worlds, they ended up traveling here AFTER Kiana destroys reality and BEFORE Sirin drops the moon on humanity. We fight Sirin right before she's about to gg humanity and THAT"S the vision the traveler has throughout the Genshin story (the vision of destruction). Keep in mind that Honkai has multiple armageddons/apocalypse and what we witnessed was only one. The characters of Honkai represent Khaenri'ah, but I don't think they were destroyed by the Celestia. I think they're actually trapped in a time/temporal loop of apocalypse and recreation set up by the Celestia in order to control Honkai energy and to prevent it from spreading throughout all of Yggdrasil (or Teyvat). That is what our brother/sister means when they say you will see the true face of this world (something along those lines) when we reunite at the end of the Liyue chapter. I think that the our brother/sister is trying to free them from that loop, and that the similarities we see throughout the game like in the Chasm, Enkanomiya, and Dragonspine are actually proof that Khaenri'ah/Honkai was once part of Teyvat/Yggdrasil and the singularities like the Nails or the Sacred Sakura are proof that they are slowly breaking the loop and remerging with the Genshin timeline. I also think that the Original Primordial One (the first one) IS the Will of Honkai; which brings me to the theory that Rhinedottir was screwing around with Honkai energy and started the whole Teyvat beast invasion which can possibly just be Honkai Beasts invading. Which leads me to think that the Honkai Beasts, Honkai sickness, Herrschers, etc. were purposely created by Rhinedottir via Honkai energy/Art of Khemia provided through the influence of the Will of Honkai/Primordial One in order to get revenge on the Second Who Came/fake Celestia. This would also make Rhinedottir a Herrscher and would also mean that the Primordial One/Will of Honkai is stuck in this time/temporal loop as well.
Okay, now I’m confused though, so which came first in the story Genshin or Honkai? And so the Honkai disease wiped out people and then it relates to the curse in Kheanriah? A loop created by a god or Heserrche? And so the twins are trying to break it? I’m so confused. I’m not a Honkai professional either, sorry I’m also kind of stupid, but I might understand where you’re going with this if you maybe break it down a bit? I tend to research about lores of games so maybe I can get something out the Honkai lore too?
There is one major mistake in that theory and that is the part with Sirin as you're now confusing GGZ lore with Honkai lore, firstly while GGZ lore is I believe canon to Honkai, which is where Kiana turns into the Herrscher of the End and destroys everything, it's honestly a little iffy honestly I'm not 100% sure, there is quite a bit of a time gap as before the current timeline with Sirin, the original Kiana, and the clone Kiana were born the previous era happened and that's a whole different storyline with many other different people and forces, most of which we don't even see in the main Current Era Honkai storyline even as alternate versions of themselves from the previous era, with everything from the PE happening completely differently from the CE as a few of the PE survivors made it to the CE to pass on as much knowledge as possible to help them fight the Honkai, some events and threats in the CE haven't even happened in PE and the same goes the other way around, all three, Sirin, Original Kiana, and clone Kiana were born in the Current Era, and Sirin never made it as far as the moon, she might have but it was interfered with by Fu Hua, a pioneer from the PE who cut off her connection to the Will of The Honkai which was protecting her from most of Humanity's attacks, thus she only destroyed Siberia and the Russian Far East, not to mention the fact that the storyline of Honkai hasn't even reached the Herrscher of the End just yet, as the story has just moved past the Herrscher of Domination which is I believe the 10th of 14 herrschers
@@StuckinaPainting Honestly feel free to research if you'd like the Honkaiverse is a very deep rabbithole with many unanswered questions as well, even kost older players can get very confused by it, especially considering the story not only spans over many mangas, Visual Novels, and of course the game itself which holds the bulk of the information, try not to rely on the wikis though as those aren't really well maintained and very often not a good source of info, you should instead look for people who keep up with the story and discuss it's lore, a good channel might be Potato Almanac on UA-cam, they've been quite consistent with their theories and videos about Honkai, though you could also look through the Honkai Chronicles in the main Honkai channel plus the Introduction to the Honkai-verse video they released a while back for clearer context
@@StuckinaPainting Honkai gets VERY confusing and even moreso when you try to conjoin in it with Genshin which is why I'd like a Honkai experts help. But I think Honkai came first, and in the middle of the Honkai timeline, the twins come in and fight Sirin AFTER Kiana destroys reality and BEFORE Sirin is about to drop debris of the moon on the humans. Everything relating to Honkai is the FIRST Primordial One's doing; I also believe the first Primordial One is the Will of Honkai, the God/deity of Honkai Impact. The first Primordial One/Will of Honkai was reawakened/revived/whatever by Rhinedottir via Art of Khemi/Honkai Energy. This spawned the Apocalypse that destroyed Teyvat. The Celestia stepped in by going back in time but instead of straight destroying Khaenri'ah, they locked them as well as the Primordial One/Will of Honkai in a time loop and wipe out anything regarding that nation (with the exception of Dainsleif and the abyss order) in order to prevent any information regarding the first Primordial One/Will of Honkai getting exposed. Our abyss twin journeys through Teyvat first, finds this information, and now is trying to break the loop with the abyss order. I forgot to put this in the original comment, but this is all theory and is still very much malleable and honestly can be debunked fairly easily. I'll say this is more my imagination running wild lol. But I do recommend reading the lore for Sirin, Herrscher of the Void and you may be able to draw a couple connections. Lot's of intriguing things regarding the connection of the two, for instance the upside down statue of seven we find at the end of the Liyue arc gives off a fairly similar partical effect to that of some Honkai beasts I remember fighting...but that can also just be Mihoyo being lazy too
Theory: the second who came didn't lose to the primordial one. Instead, desguised as phanes and made Celestia and the archons, to "divide and conquer" the unified civilization that knew who the real primordial one was. Kaenri'ah studied alchemy, the power of the trees and ended up finding out about "the real god" by taking isildur memories and the true history from the mirrored dimension of the Abyss (like in spiral abyss, that u have to go down to get to the tallest points). Because of this Celestia framed kaenri'ah and destroyed it. You get blessings from ley lines and isildur trees because they hold the memory of the entire story of teyvat and can reconnect with the real primordial one. Note that genshin means "true god" in some translation. The traveler awakens the primordial dragons, ley lines, unpins destroyed civilizations to restart the original teyvat, fixing the doings of the second who came. Istaroth is god of time so it can help the traveler despite the fact that in the present, Phanes is not there anymore. I strongly believe that paimon is conected to the first who came. Some kind of artificial unfinished god made with kaenri'ah technology made (manipulates freely space and time, has stars patterns like the rest of kaenri'ans but hasn't fully conected with phanes memories) outside of Celestia (the second who came) jurisdiction. Bonus theory: In the battlepass cutscene the abyss sibling is some kind of royalty from kaenri'ah and is sent to the abyss to get "evidence" of this true god of teyvat by searching for the GENESIS crystal (the crystal of the beginning). But it was tainted by the darkness and thats why it created the abyss order; combining his desire to help Kaenri'ah while believing that is from abyssal royalty
What if Aether and Lumine are two forms of the Primordial One, perhaps there was a decision to travel to Teyvat to experience what life is like and then the 4 shades have been tasked to help them to stay focused and keep on Teyvat until their journey is done?
with aether (who, despite what hoyoverse has said, is usually the one advertised as the protagonist) being connected to the unknown god, i think its worth pointing out the travelers lore in original chinese. copied from the wiki: The original CN text: 维系者正在死去,创造者尚未到来。但世界不会再度灼烧,因为你将登上「神」之座。 Literal translation: The sustainer is passing away; the creator has not yet come. But the world shall burn no more, for you shall ascend to the seat of "the god."
@@Moraxtrustygnosis You’ve only translated it. The Chinese version of “sustainer” is indeed 维系者. Please do not assume that Google Translate is more accurate than someone who actually speaks the language…
@@KAlberich go ingame change it to the both Chinese versions and translate them both translate to keeper I've done this myself why do you think am here correcting people
@@Moraxtrustygnosis No, you are wrong about this. I am Chinese myself and I play in the Chinese server. In the beginning cutscene of Genshin, the Unknown God introduces herself as the “Sustainer of Heavenly Principles”, correct? In the Chinese version of the cutscene, she had said it like this: “「天理」的维系者”. Notice “维系者”, it is like how the original comment said it as “sustainer”.
So does this make Paimon The Primordial One? I mean you go through her to transmute Stardust and Starglitter into Wishes along with the rest of her star thematic. And Stars, Constellations, and Wishes are viewed as very important things to Teyvat. Afterall, Wishes bring you your comrades, and completing their Constellations make them more powerful....and you know the fact that she's literally been floating around with a Circlet shaped Crown above her head the entire time. Along with the star shaped hair pin potentially referencing the star shape on the circlet icon.
Ive always wondered in my theory that paimon could of been an younger sibling or relative who've helped you escape after seeing your brother/sister get kidnapped , teleported to a random universe or planet. So they ventured on finding there relative after remembering and learning who there are slowly ,as time goes by tho the unknown God has manipulated and casted a spell on the other sibling , gave them greater power and armies (fatui) to kill the other and bring paimon back alive
6:47 That way The Godess looks at Aether, maybe she is "future" Paimon once she traveled with Aether around the world, and decided to save Aether from his Sister original plan somehow? Paimon is the demon of treason but that doesnt mean she wishes Aether to be harm in any way. Maybe even to protect him.

Somehow i agree

I was researching in the same area in these days and found out something interesting.
In Greek Mythology, Aether is the god of space/sky, son of Chaos and brother of goddess Hemera, the goddess of Light.
Another thing I found out in Greek Mythology regards the seelie achievements in the Chasm:
Phosphoros (meaning: Light bringer) was the Star of the Morning, a male divinity brother to Hesperos, the Star of the Evening, also a male divinity.
This element has the peculiar characteristic of having 4 colours (different allotropes):

Hear me out:
As Wei said, if you search for the god of space Aether comes as a result and if you search the meaning of lumine which corresponds to the word luminous which means light or intensity of light.
@FurY15 Thanks 😊
And if they are living stars then they already got the lifespan of billion of years 😬 and their appearance doesn’t matter in that case.

Also her
And if she's not a Moon Sister, the only theory I belive for now too is about her being the Primordial Goddess, because... just her name.
OMG can you tell me where can I find this "Moon Sisters" tale for further read? Is it a book in the game?

This actual makes so much sense. Also, in Aethers idle animation, he summons these blue and purple symbols that look like constellations. And where do you find constellations? IN SPACE! I feel like this also kind of proves he is the god of space.
I think that's Aether looking at other party members' constellations and thinking of new combos. Like players do when they open a character's constellation page.
(First of all, I must say that I use a translator so that you can understand me, I am from Argentina and a big fan of Genshin Impact, but my English is not very good so to speak but I hope you understand me, thank you.)
I don't think so, remember that Genshin Impact is about two twin brothers (Aether the older and Lumine the younger) and they both travel throughout the universe visiting new worlds, since their home world was destroyed and they travel together, and in the opening cinematic In the game you can see two stars (Lumine and Aether) demonstrating how they could travel from one place to another, but before unknown god separates us from our brother/sister, only Aether/Lumine will be left with Paimon, but it is not only Aether who has the animation of blue and purple symbols that are similar to constellations, LUMINE also has that ANIMATION of constellations.
Lumine : lumine is a verb that means “to illuminate,” which makes sense because it comes from the Latin lux for “light.”
Which is also means that the twin is one of the Shining shades Phanes created which is The god of Light
omg, It's good to know these
Another part is that the Primordial god ( based on Greek mythology) had a companion by the name " Athena" and is connected to time.

And she can freeze and advance time on the Menu
Paimo is the name of a demon ... So...
*oh no, I called her emergency food twice*
Paimon reminds me of Kusanali and Rukkhadevata, i think its possible that she used to be very powerful and was like Rukkhadevata and then probably got kicked out of celestia or she escaped. Then she lost her powers somehow and turned into this form we all know (like Kusanali)
she can fucking stop time,, change time, disappear and float, I think she's a god
I've always had this thought itching my brain ever since the Phanes and 4 shades being related to the artifacts theory:
Could 3 of the 4 shades have betrayed the Primordial One?
There are still many questions like:
Why would they betray Primordial One in the first place? There is nothing we could think of that Second One could offer to the Shades for them to switch sides (for now.)
Why would Istaroth be the only outlier?
@@joyboysmiles you might be on to something
You know this theory actually makes sense because in the manga venti did thought about 3 hooded figures when they were talking about celestia
This would imply that the higher beings in celestia is a trio, so this would fit perfectly if 3 out of 4 shades betrayed the primordial one and tried to sealed them away because they can't truly kill the primordial one, thus they were sealed if you continue the parallels with Honkai, paimon is a lot like Higokumaru, both didn't remember who they were, they both thought themselves as human and didn't really liked when they're called a fairy/pixie like being and they're both weakened, Higokumaru being the Herrscher of corruption and Paimon being the primordial one respectively
That explains why Aether and Lumine can travel through space/realms
Okay... here's a crazy theory I just now realized after watching this video.
Everybody sees Wei’s disclaimer that not all of his theories are true but I know it’s not just me that’s taking everything he said to be true because it makes so much sense all the time💀
alternative theory: Lumine is the god representing the flower of life because of the flower she wears, and Aether is the goblet god
the reason he doesnt know this is because he doesnt remember, probably lost his memories

What if it could be taken more literally and Aether himself is the god of space? He also has the star shapes on his clothes and his "vision" in character menu. What if he and Lumine are one of the 4 gods and Lumine's artifact is the flower?
But… they were just passing through the world? How would they be gods of it?

I for one, would like to know that too
"The Sustainer of Heavenly Principles" seems like a lie she told to us because Primordial One knows that we are needed in Teyvat and utilised the Shade of space to execute this excuse.
maybe smth to do with the bp animation
We actually don't really know whether unknown god is good or bad. When you think about it, if she's bad, then the twin probably already dead or become hillichurl but nope, we're fine af, our twin is still fine with keep power. So, knowing this is mhy, the story will be complicated enough to the point we can't actually know who's bad and who's good. So, it's unlikely that what we're seeing is good or bad.
I think the unknown god and the rest of the shades is not against humanity . Think carefully ,why would she block other gods (aether and lumine) from doing their journey .. it seems to me all the shades is doing something all behind the scenes to get ready to go against the "Second who came"
This guy is a God. That attention to detail is amazing
Bonus point… I just found out… aether is the god of light… and lumine is the goddess of moon…so like light means light ig… and moon means… dark? And if we see hoyoverse used aether as the teyvat twin… while they used lumine as the abyss twin… so like-
Does this make up something?
The Chalice represents Aether. Aether can accept any element, so the cups give an elemental DMG bonus.

If you watch the trailer, the unknown god, she gasps for a second before sending the traveller. Maybe she was sent to kill the twins but for a second she didnt and just split them apart, and as a punishment for that, the gods took her powers and turned her into what we know as pimon.
This man is 10 parallel universes ahead of us
The theories are still amazing.

This further supports that Aether is the canon traveler.
I love that you used BeFall at the end of the video, genuinely the best song Mihoyo has ever made
Just imagine HoYoVerse developers watching all these theory videos from all these channels. Anyway, your theory videos are amazing, you explain it so well and make it so simple and entertaining. Keep up the good work!
So I only played Honkai for its first year before I stopped, however I would like to input a couple things because there's a bit of similarities in terms of lore between Genshin and Honkai and a lot of considerations to look into when trying to connect the two:
1) The names of the playable characters in Honkai are called "Valkyries" - this can play a relevant role since Genshin's Teyvat seems to take place within Norse Mythology and can also play into my Khaenri'ah theory which I'll explain later
2) Our playable character being from Greek Mythology - I think the biggest thing this tells us is how big this game is actually going to be. But to think of the possibility of a Mata Nui or even the inclusion of Indian Gods is some Fate/GO sh*t
3) Honkai sickness - This is where we get into big PP theories. Again, I haven't played Honkai in a while, so any hardcore Honkai player can debunk this but there's a couple things that point to this:
--- The back of Ruin Guards and Ruin Hunters remind me of the stigmata of the Valkyries in Honkai. And if I remember correctly Ruin Guards/Hunters were the Khaenri'ahs doing and were weapons of war; similar to what the Valkyries of Honkai are (I can be overthinking this one honestly)
--- Khaenri'ah was big on technology. Pretty self explanatory given the setting Honkai has
--- What if the "zombie-like" entities in Genshin were just Honkai infected people? Honkai sickness symptoms include zombification
--- What if the monsters during the "Gold" invasions were actually just Honkai Beasts?
--- Herrshcers - I will explain this in the next point for the sake of organization
4) Herrschers - The concept of the Herrschers are the EXACT same as those with visions with one exception: Herrschers are influenced by the Will of Honkai whereas vision holders have their own ambitions connected to their vision, which, btw, is lost when the vision is taken away as seen in Inazuma (something to keep in the back of the mind). This is where the questions start
--- What if the Herrschers were the Gods of the Primordial One (the first one, not the imposter)?
--- What if what we fought at the beginning of Genshin IS Sirin, Herrscher of the void? I will continue this one in my next point
5) Kiana Kaslana - I still keep up with Honkai a bit, but I can't say I'm an expert in it in terms of its lore. She then went on to destroy multiple continents with moon debris, killing a lot of mankind before starting Armageddon
My theory in all of this is that Aether and Lumine being from a completely different world and traveling worlds, they ended up traveling here AFTER Kiana destroys reality and BEFORE Sirin drops the moon on humanity.
@@kirotakahashi7173 alright, thank you for the information! 😜
But it was tainted by the darkness and thats why it created the abyss order; combining his desire to help Kaenri'ah while believing that is from abyssal royalty
i saw this at AR 18 not understanding anything. now i am AR 57 everything makes sense lol
What if Aether and Lumine are two forms of the Primordial One, perhaps there was a decision to travel to Teyvat to experience what life is like and then the 4 shades have been tasked to help them to stay focused and keep on Teyvat until their journey is done?
They could be the two forms of either Kosma/Griseo but unlikely.
with aether (who, despite what hoyoverse has said, is usually the one advertised as the protagonist) being connected to the unknown god, i think its worth pointing out the travelers lore in original chinese. copied from the wiki:

So does this make Paimon The Primordial One? I mean you go through her to transmute Stardust and Starglitter into Wishes along with the rest of her star thematic. And Stars, Constellations, and Wishes are viewed as very important things to Teyvat. Afterall, Wishes bring you your comrades, and completing their Constellations make them more powerful....and you know the fact that she's literally been floating around with a Circlet shaped Crown above her head the entire time. Along with the star shaped hair pin potentially referencing the star shape on the circlet icon.
Paimonial does sound like a slurred primordial.
@Sanfe honestly she has no similarities with istaroth and idk why y'all still think that
Ive always wondered in my theory that paimon could of been an younger sibling or relative who've helped you escape after seeing your brother/sister get kidnapped , teleported to a random universe or planet.
What I’m worried about with this theory, is that if someone were to choose Lumine as MC, would the theory still stay the same?
