Brent Jalling the Liberals in Quebec are VERY different from the Federal liberals. The only real provincial party you can compare to the Liberal Party is the Liberal Party of Ontario. That’s like saying we’re happy liberals are losing in Nova Scotia but the Liberal party of NS is Centre right. Like I get what your saying but it’s not really comparable. But time in office, that can be compared. Because both the Liberal Party in Ontario and Quebec were in power for 15 years which is a pretty long time and after that many years you want change. And I don’t think anyone can truly compare Federal politics (which will be really different during the next election because of Bernier) and provincial works as well as people think it does. Sorry for the long thing lol.

Ki Sean Excell You make good points but Nova Scotia has a PC party to represent the center-right, and the NC Liberal Party is still affiliated with the Federal Liberals. I would assume there's got to be some ideological connection between the two. Otherwise, there would be no distinction for the voters. In contrast, British Columbia's Liberal Party represents the right against the left's NDP since BC's Conservatives aren't competitive and have no seats.

    • @prgsc8083

CoolFun11 That would ironic and fulfilling. The only reason the right wing wins Canadian Federal elections to begin with is due to vote splitting among the left with the Liberals, NDP and Greens.

He's a business man center right and to him it's what's best for everyone and what makes or doesn't make money for Québec. Countries have started to close off the borders and tighten immigration laws E.g. Italy, Hungary, brexit and u.s. Its only the beginning. Caused by the E.U. QS, I already have known about the party since 2006 and I like what's said in this video about this party. I've long been fed up with the PQ, Libs and Cons, and voted QS on Oct. 1st without at all expecting for the party to win, only wanting to provide it some support, so what's said in this video about this party is pleasing. Maybe QS and the CAQ will be able to work well together. Let's hope for that any maybe some "sun" will now finally shine upon Quebec. There're plenty of "opportunities" for some needed improvements in this province.

The Public administration need to be managed with more efficiency providing all necessary services at reasonable cost. The first question is François Lagault a proven manager with his only accounting background...Will Francois Lagault find
appropriate trained and experienced manager-administrators to achieve efficiently all necessary duties in his government.
This has been not easy since 1936 with all precedent Quebec prime
ministers. You think Legault will apply a real change.....including the Quebec English speaking community be integrated
in all most government decisions....I have doubt because it never happen with all precedent Quebec governments..Will universities graduates Quebec neo Quebecois immigrants be continuously employment discriminated...I have many doubts Legaut
will contribute to change de Quebecois de souche mentality and negative attitudes eliminating...In practice, this cannot happen overnight...What Legault government can do to help single seniors surviving withonly with less than 16.000.00 annually..Forget about the healthcare system in desaray in Quebec with the increase of the aging population who will suffer, more and more because no one in the Quebec government will be able to fix the system. Worst is who will fix all the Quebec education system generating the highest student drop out in North America....I think we will facing more problems with this new elected government...Especially because government funds are not increasing ad libitum.

What is his plan for the open border in Quebec - where illegal immigrants are walking into Canada every day?

Borders are open in whole of Canada. Québec just happen to be the most convenient path. This guy dont like it but borders are a federal thing and there's not a lot he can do about it in the current system. If I was him I would tell Trudeau Québec doesn't spend a dollar on this. Not I give you the bill but you give me the money before and THEN I spend it on illegal immigration.

Quebec has is own immigration system!
