      Beautiful pedal... it's a shame that it's not available in Italy... unfortunately many excellent pedal manufacturers don't have distribution in Italy... it's a huge lack because pedals like this and like the Dunsch are truly necessary to stimulate our creativity .. unfortunately it is not even possible to find these beauties through thomann. the only one is palf in France. Unfortunately, even in France it is, or was, an extremely limited edition. I beg you on behalf of all of us European guitarists and musicians: increase your distribution network, we need you down here! Thanks for your attention and as always PEACE!

    Truly stunning demo once again from Coll/Emit, I've listened to this at least a dozen times already and I'm just completely lost in this other worldly sound,
    Woolly has once again created a truly inspiring and emotionally resonant pedal that just blows me away, having made a pedal like this with such an historic Engilsh back story of the Swan Hunter shipyards gives it such instant gravitas and deep meaning.
    When these two guys collaborate on this level you know something truly magical is happening.

      If that were true then the band Woolly and I briefly had would’ve been better 😅 (just kidding of course, we had a great time jamming together). Always love when he sends me a new pedal, it’s a guaranteed good time!

      @@collectoremitter Now there's the music I'd love to hear if it's been recorded during yours and Woolly's jam sessions :) :) The musical meanderings of my two favourite pedals creator and pedals demoer, please tell me you recorded some stuff for us all to hear #weliveinhope .

    The ducking feature shows very strong potential. Such a mysterious/fun box. Great work!

    Wow, the Ballast stuff really makes this interesting. Before that, I just thought it was a really pretty delay/reverb, but that Ballast stuff, wow! That would fit my style of playing super well.

    Had to check that this pedal really was named after the shipyard, and not someone who shoots birds. Sounds great.

    This pedal sounds really good and seems to be really interesting, but don't you think, that it is funny, that there are so many modern pedals, that are made to recreate the glitches of tape recording. If you don't have a possibility to buy that pedal, try to record your guitar with a super cheap tape player, then play your tape through reverb and a bit of overdrive.

    Dang.
    How would you compare this to the Maude?

    • @dansleparc
      @dansleparc 3 роки тому

      Also curious for this from someone who has played both!
      I own a Meet Maude but the Swan Hunter sounds much brighter and chewed up with more artefacts/mod depth/delay time to my ears 👂 (from the demos at least)

    • @collectoremitter
      @collectoremitter  3 роки тому +2

      It’s comparing apples to oranges in my opinion. The Meet Maude is a very straightforward (and beautiful) lofi analog delay, and this is a digital delay that pushes the digital chip to its limits ( + reverb and the expansion/ducking)

    I want this pedal so bad after hearing this demo, but I'm also like, 9 pedals into my pedalboard build, 4 of which are reverbs, not one of which is just a normal, vanilla delay pedal...
    But I also want this pedal so bad after hearing this demo...
