Just now getting started with the conversion for a BC-348-R I purchased from eBay. I am very impressed with the manual I received from Charles and will advise him of my progress.
Update: Project completed and working very nicely as shown in the videos. Charles has done a great job with the manual. He gives you the information you will need in order to be successful. You will need experience making good soldered connections and have the test equipment to align the receiver properly. Thank you Charles, it was a fun project!

Would yourself or someone with a grid-cap model BC348 pulled down do some photos for me of inside the 3 coil boxes? Would appreciate. Also is there a 'conversion manual ' for the transitor-ising? Please advise...
The E,M,O,P,S units are almost identical to the H,K,L,R units. The audio output transformers may be different along with other minor differences. If you can work out the details the H,K,L,R solid state conversion manual will work.

Will this work with a "P" model schematics appear the same except 2 caps.
