La Fiorita 🇸🇲 San Marino club doing fantastic in conference league qualifiers Round 1 right now. They Defeated FC isloch from Belarus in penalty. Truly an amazing run. They Will face basaksehir in Round 2. Forza Titani 🇸🇲
Tom did a San Marino challenge with them
I hope they also win basaksehir to show that the San Marino league is not the worst in the world
In your dreams...
@@user-lx8ym3qp4y no one really said that tbh, the iffhs ranking doesn’t leave them last

About the music. Formally branding and music isn’t deployed at those games until the 4th qualifying round. Some teams do play it but it results in fine given by UEFA
Gibralter isn't technically a country. It's more of a city state with a devolved government. Gibraltarians are British citizens.
And even if it was a country it wouldn't be the smallest in europe
TNS playing Ferencvaros. As a Villa fan, I know the striker for TNS, Brad Young - he is a youth player who played for Villa in that match during covid where all our first team were isolating so we had to play the U18s against Liverpool, if you remember that? He got released after a couple of unspectacular EFL loans - but now he has an insane goalscoring record in Wales (32 goals in 37 games). He also got stabbed three times and played again the same season. I always sign him for my FM saves now because of his story.
That game is high on my list!
@@TomFM i reckon you go tns aswell
I think you should rate the atmosphere/stadium etc more subjectively. Allianz Arena facilities and atmosphere will obviously be a higher quality but if you enjoy a smaller ground/atmosphere then there's no reason you can't give it a 4/5. It's all about your experience rather than trying to quantify it all. Sometimes a unique view and the intimate feel of passionate, local fans close to the pitch can be way better than a soulless big stadium with tourist fans.
You make a good point! Something to perhaps rethink in later rounds
I bloody love UA-cam me.
I’m sat here watching a guy I don’t know watching a match I have no interest in and it’s thoroughly enjoyable.
Much like that slice it pizza, it wouldn’t work on paper 🍕
Hahaha glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching! Hope you can stick around for the rest of the tournament!

The comment I've been waiting for, thank you 😂
The Magpies, who placed 3rd this season beat Derry City in the Conference League Qualifiers now play Copenhagen.
I went to see Derry City vs Galway United a few months ago. It's was hilarious, the most boring game I've ever seen in my life
Magpies are the best story so far from all of Europe, can't see them beating Copenhagen but they've earned a memorable away day!
It’s really important for any team in the 1st qualifying ucl round to qualify Bcz they’re 1 step away from getting European league stage this year and staying until December which also means they get bonus money
Theyre 2 steps away actually, you need at least 3rd UCL round or UEL playoff round to qualify for a League Phase.
Still, getting a win for a team like Lincoln Red Imps means they are one set away from qualifying which is crazy!
Yes, it's what Jaylen was telling me off camera. Getting into the League Phase of a European competition is a dream come true, really hope they can do it again!
Small club games like these beat your Man City vs. Real Madrid giant-on-giant action any day of the week. I'm a Chelsea fan and I'm pumped we're in the Conference League cuz our opponents are just more FUN than in the Champions League. Shit, if we lose to a team from Moldova or Georgia, I'm not even going to be mad, just happy for the other team. Cheers from NYC!
this is a fantastic mentality, love to see it
Also a Chelsea fan and same, these smaller clubs are also so interesting and I love to support clubs from like Gibraltar or something!
As a Chelsea fan watching us lose to St.Gallen , Hapoel tel aviv and Viking FK for 3 years running was not fun.
@@crtuber13 Speak for yourself, beats losing to Bayern Munich…or Arsenal…
That New Saints vs Ferencvaros match should be your next visit. Huge opponents for the Saints and convenient trip to Shropshire
And if they win, only their 2nd trip to the 3rd Qualifying Round
🇭🇺🇭🇺💚🤍🔥🔥💪💪🤪🤪5-0 sry but we are good good luck in the UEL bro
Klaksvik- Malmö is a nice game to watch, not everyday you get a chans to see a team from the faroe island (and Klaksvik won over a swedish team last year so maybe you can catch an other success for a small nation) like the content btw!
Here is an overview of the whole European ride of Lincoln Red Imps 🇬🇮
I knew this club, but I really found interest in it when you uploaded this video. I'm not Gibraltan or British, but I really want to visit this country and even watch a Lincoln game in the Champions League, because they win the top flight constantly. After Lincoln's win on penalties against Hamrun Spartans, the team from Gibraltar had to face Qarabag from Azerbaijan (a team from my country faced them too last year). Unfortunately, Lincoln lost 7-0 on aggregate, and was dropped down to the Europa League, where they faced Dinamo Minsk from Belarus. The first leg went unfortunate for Lincoln, as they lost 2-0 away, but managed to win their game home 2-1. Sadly, that wasn't enought for Lincoln to continue their Europa League run. In the Conference League playoffs, Lincoln played Larne from Northern Ireland. In the first leg, Lincoln won 2-1 and there I had high hopes on Lincoln advancing, but on the 29th of August, Larne crushed my dreams, with Andy Ryan scoring a hattrick and making Latne advance to the league stage of the Conference League. So close, yet so far.
Nonetheless, I didn't have access to these qualifiers, but I searched for the results on the internet. Because of you, I found a love for smaller clubs competing for Europe. Thanks ❤️
FCSB would be interesting as depending who u ask they are champions league winners. They also have brilliant fans
Thank you for giving Gibraltar some exposure. Glad you enjoyed my home town and hope you can enjoy a longer stay next time.
Was following LRI after your Lincoln Loco now they’re in my top 3 teams ⭐️
I've always kept and eye on them since then!
Decent video mate. I was filming the Lincoln v Qarabag match the other day and a UEFA rep stopped me so I had switch seats.

Go to Prague, Czech Republic for Sparta Prague! Good food, decent stadium and fantastic atmosphere!
The most "fireworks" game in the 2nd qualifying round is Partizan vs Dynamo. I am baffled that these 2 are allowed to play, and even more baffled that Dynamo will have to go to Belgrade, and UEFA didn't at least force a neutral venue for both legs (obviously Dynamo is playing in Poland). In case you didn't know Partizan keeps playing friendlies and off season tournaments with russian teams, a lot of serbs just unconditianally support russia including those that will be in the stands for the game, so you can imagine that DK might take umbrage with that. I will be shocked if at least a small scuffle doesn't break out. There was already a situation during Dynamo's game vs AEK where the ultras (and it's usually the ultras) decided chant pro russian nonsense. DK won the penalty shootout, DK goalie got a yellow for mocking the AEK ultras after the win. Partizan is likely to be at least a couple times more intense then AEK.
There are a other options. TNS vs Ferencvaros in Wales, and Sparta vs Shamrock Rovers are nice options, if you don't want to / can't go far away. Klaksvik is a semi pro team from the Farroe Islands that had a magical european run a few years back.
Yes, I'm really keen to get to Belgrade for a game! Really hope one of them makes the League Phase. But maybe for a "tamer" game, I think I'd genuinely fear for my safety at the Partizan - Dynamo game especially if I'm filming loads of it and a lot of trouble kicks off.
I'm 99% sure that Partizan had a UEFA ban and that the stadium will be empty for that game. So as my name suggest come to Red Star game in the last qualifying stage, for some good FM nostalgy.
Good video and Gibraltar looks great.
The Gibraltar accent is probably the strangest accent I have ever heard, a combination of an english accent and a spanish accent
AMAZING CONTENT, Tom!!! keep going bro! huge fan here
Appreciate it!
Also, as someone who genuinely is trying to follow Lincoln Red Imps besides their CL campaign, I'm annoyed at myself for not getting the very direct Lincoln City connection sooner.
To be fair neither club makes much of a deal about the connection, I wish they would!
You should add some sort of "how much did i enjoy the experience" point option, so smaller stadiums can get some high points if you enojyed the entire setting :)
Lincoln would get 6/5 stars for enjoyment!
@@TomFM Hmm but which one? ;)
Tom, i've got a suggestion for the next round. PAOK vs Borac Banja Luka, IF the game isnt sold out yet😅
If you want to you can go to Toumpa in the third qualifying round
Nice to see Gibraltar again! My aunt and uncle used to live there so I know it well!
The team Lincoln won on penalties is heading to the Conference League play-offs. I support Glentoran in the Northern Irish Premiership, sadly they are not in europe, but for Larne they are in the play-offs of the Conference league which is amazing for the country. Larne would be facing Lincoln, the same team that won on penalties. If Larne wins then I would be quite happy because Larne deserves it, and they would become the first Northern Irish team to qualify for group stage football for the Conference League. I say Larne has got a better chance but I hope they will win the play-offs.
Watch the new saints welsh champions playing vs ferencvaros in the 2nd qualifyin round of the ucl
Really enjoyed that video, looking forward to the next round. Another UA-cam I follow went from Glasgow to Gibraltar by bus the other week, I think you had the better idea!
i would have given stadium 2 stars adding on 1 star to the base 1 star for the truly unique view and heart of the underdog in the stadium lol
Perhaps you're right, the view was so unique and cool!
@@TomFM yes it looks truly cool and unique :)
Petrocub vs APOEL in Moldova on the 30th? Or New Saints versus Ferencvaros, a little closer to home.
Good luck in UEL welsh friends
The blue ship you saw sailing in the background is a semi-submersible ship. It can sink partly in the water to pick up platforms or any other floating objects.
Wow that's actually really cool! Thank you
I might be 8 days late but as a Swede I would highly recommend going to Sweden to watch Malmö FF probably play against PAOK after their win against Klaksvik today. It will be the third qualifying round and the Eleda Stadium is a cheap place to visit. Highly recommend!
I belive that anthem isnt played until 4th round. Would love to see you in Belegrade on your 4th qualification round! Love videos like this!
3rd qualification round. When the "bigger" teams come in. Shame as all of those "smaller" teams as UEFA see it. Are all the Champions of their respective leagues. They should be treated like it. And be allowed to play the anthem.
@@WeAreThePeople1690 could be in new format, few years back we didnt hear it in Belegrade until playoffs(4th). Yes in shame that they dont use it in every game its same competition, but its nice feeling when your team deserve it!
little did we know how much the tjay de barr rumour would circulate
It got a bit out of hand 😂
11:59 TomFM watched ONE Zealand Video
Fabrizio Romano: Here we go! Tjay De Barr to Lincoln City confirmed.
It got a little out of hand on twitter, was shut down by Lincoln City's chairman 😂
I've been on rugby tour to Gibraltar and played at Gibraltar point its a great place and lovely stadium and facilities
Go to Larne FC in the Conference League 3rd qualifying round against the 2nd round winner of FC Ballkani (KOS) or Hamrun Spartans FC (MLT). Check out their story, bottom of the NI Championship, taken over by ex Purple Bricks co-founder and now back to back NI Premiership champions. Completely redeveloped facilities and now a full time club.
Fm idea: manage a club of your choice but Chat gpt has to make all the decisions.
Why the hyperbole/misinformation? Gibraltar obviously is not the smallest country in Europe. Monaco and Vatican both smaller.
Good seeing you last night at half time for TNS v Ferencvaros. I forgot to mention I did watch this video a few days ago. Great content 👏
Caernarfon town in confrence league 1st ever season in europe have the best fans in wales beat crusaders from northen ireland on penalties after it being 3 3 on aggeragate won 2 0 1st leg and will be playing legia warzaw in the second round
Azerbaijan, Qarabag will show class performance against Lincoln, especially after winning them 4-0 last season
Lincoln Red Imps have already played in the Conference League before btw, in it’s first ever edition
I went in the Leeds United bar to watch Leeds, it was great. Although only 2.6 miles, it actually takes a while to get from the border to Europa Point.
You're right it does, my hotel was right next to the airport and going through the town it took longer than I imagined
@@TomFM the highlight for me was seeing a Morrisons with palm trees 😂
Lincoln red imps are one of my favourite teams because I’m a lincoln city fan
Going to watch Klaksvíkar Ítróttarfelag vs Bodø/Glimt would be my choice. Might be your only chance to get to the Faroe Islands.
Apparently there's a huge festival in Faroe Islands the same day as the game, all the hotels already sold out 😭
I had a video idea, what if all the leagues were actually tournaments (with a random draw to start off) and the champions league was actually a "league" it would be interesting to see how the winners change (possibly a more variety in the leages, and more exclusive & elite club domination in UCL? )
It has to be TNS v Ferencvaros.
Ferencvaros are perhaps the biggest name in this round - some of us remember when they were a big team and got to the final of the Cup Winners Cup exactly 50 years ago (74/5 season). Huge tradition of European football back to the 1930s. There would be potentially a lot to see and talk about in Budapest.
And up against the only professional team in Wales
No. The biggest name is still Steaua. I'd loved to see them play this team from gibraltar and Virtus from San Marino play those not so convinced in winning Maltese players... But alas...
TNS is based in England though, and there are 4 professional Welsh clubs that are playing in the EFL
@@Whiss For video reasons I still think Ferecvaros steals it on history having played in the Mitropa Cup in the 20s and 30s.
Europa Park is the rugby stadium in Gilbratar, I went there last year for a day trip. They have a rugby 7s tournament there every year in July which is very popular
Get yourself over to Prague and watch the shamrock rovers game.
you gotta go watch Klaksvik in Faroe islands they done a miracle last year and i feel like they can do it
The teams are playing there because of the Victoria Stadium is getting work done on it to increase the capacity.
i think going to klaksvik is the best game to go to since its the only team from the faeroe islands
Food in European stadiums must be awful if Dominos is scoring 5 stars. Look into American stadium food.
Come to Twente VS Salzburg. It’s their first CL qualifying game ever since they got relegated and the atmosphere will be insane
Tom mate! I live in Gib and I bumped into a lot of Irish fans a couple days ago 😂
I train at the sports park that the game was held at LMAO and I walked by the stadium twice ON THE DAY THE MATCH WAS PLAYED. BY ACCIDENT.
Wow that sounds surreal 🤣🤣
hey Tom, would you want to do a bit of a nation building career in Poland, preferably with my local team Arka Gdynia, once FM25 comes out? Since dropping from the Polish top flight a few years back, we bottled all our promotion chances since, most painfully last season, when having had a 99% chance of promotion with 4 games to go, and playing against two bottom of the table teams, we thrown the chance drawing with relegated Podbeskidzie (who were promotion candidates ahead of the season), barely winning with Zaglebie Sosnowiec (which had been already relegated earlier despite having been promotion candidates as well), then losing to local rivals Lechia Gdańsk and to GKS Katowice (who were 12th mid-season), losing our promotion spot to the last of these. When we were winning the playoffs final against Motor Lublin in the 87th minute 1-0, it seemed like we would get promoted after all, but two late goals kept us out of the Ekstraklasa.
Love your content, keep up the good work
You Should Go to FCSB vs Maccabi i think its the best game of the round
You should watch KI Klaksvik v Malmo
They say KI Klaksvik has a good atmosphere (never been there) but i think its the most competitive and there's lots of good players in there. not sure how you're going to iceland but I'm sure you'll figure it out.
