It's interesting hearing Hans Zimmer talk about Ramin in his Masterclass, saying Ramin Djawadi used to make coffee for them at the studio as they worked--not knowing Ramin was a musician. One night Ramin asked if he could use their equipment and play around while the crew went home. The next morning Hans and his musicians come to the studio, and Ramin surprises them of a reworking of their Pirates of the Caribean battle track that they've been having trouble on, and that was the last time Ramin ever made coffee for them.

Honestly? i dont think its so much the writers but of a wider theme shift of the show, one that began in season 6 or even arguably from the very beginning, it's just we are only really seeing that change now. The white walkers are here, and they are the one true enemy. The show has shifted from the politics and power-grabbing of the game of thrones to the grand quest that is the song of ice and fire. That requires everyone putting aside their differences to defeat the great foe and takes away a lot of what made the show good in the first place. It also definitely doesn't help that half the power players died when cercei blew them all up. It will be interesting to see how the book approaches this
Yeah. It was missing something - presumably the book. All suddenly very predictable, and the whole north of the wall section was hollywood pantomine. Ridiculous plan in the first place. Improbable rescue by dragons, then by uncle ben, somehow not one of them dies. Can't help but feel the whole thing was contrived so that the dead could get a dragon and balance out the scores a bit. Soundtrack is one of the best seasons though.
Some people are ungrateful just appreciate the beautiful music that Ramin Djawadi has given us this season instead of complaining its inferior to other seasons.
I can listen to Ramin Djawadi music ALL DAY EVERY DAY and Game of Thrones soundtracks are the best. I purchased Season 6 last year and listened to it in my car every day. It's what carried me through waiting for Season 7 to start. Now that Season 7 is over, I am going to need to fill my brain up with fan videos and music for the next year so I can relive each scene over and over again! Love GOT!!!
When a sountrack imposes its notes by itself, almost dissolving frosen wind,, ghosts, skeletons, ice, fog, dragons, eagerness of empty kings, queens and the alike, somethimg very serious and dramatic takes place. .Music becomes sublime. amd filters away the details. That is Art.
Best tracks: Dragonstone Dragonclass Home See You What You Are No One Walks Away from Me Truth The Army of the Dead Winter is Here Those are masterpieces
I love everything from this soundtrack but 46:57 may be the most intense musical moment the whole GOT soundtrack has. Of course "Truth" in all of its versions (see you for what you are) is so great and heart-breaking and "Winter is here" has been commented upon below.
Jon and Dany have a theme together. I only just realized this. It's the same tune you hear in "Truth", "See You For What You Are" and in part of " Against All Odds." It only plays when they're together.
Maritza Piccarillo its in every scene they're in together when the mood gets intimate. The only time it hasn't played was when they were talking together in the Dragon pit.

31:45 was one of my favorite portions of the soundtrack. It's at the very end during the Spoils of War when Jaimie tries to kill Dany and it's just epic. It highlights a moment of uncertainty as two pivotal characters who are moments away from killing each other, while Tyrion whispers his shock and anguish over Jaimie's action that may cost the dwarf his leader and his brother.
'Home' and 'Truth' still gives me the shivers! So so beautiful! I can feel each character's raw emotions through it! Ramin you are the MVP of all time!!
Последний саундтрек пробирает до мурашек, когда Джейме отправляется на север и на Королевскую гавань медленно падает снег, едва ли не самый эпичный момент для меня, аж слезы проступают!!!
@@TsarofScars thats not true at all, for a moment she didnt think about that, she was just tried to intimidate him (hear me roar) but he calles her bluff. You really do know nothing jon snow.
I created a study list with the soundtrack to all the seasons. It's one of the last few things in this world I can actually enjoy. The music is hauntingly beautiful and helps me focus. It's sad to know the show is finished. It was certainly an experience to watch.
Ramin Djawadi's music is great, I love all GoT Sountracks, he is a genuine composer. I love the variety of musical instruments he uses, as well as his absolute Art to bring up many different levels and intesity of emotions. My favourite piece from GoT in s7 is Dany - Jon theme, found in Dragonglass, See You for What You Are, Truth... And of all, I love The Light of The Seven the most. :-) Love his work.
It's such a shame we'll have to wait until 2019 for season 8. Thank God we'll still get Westworld in 2018, so we'll hear more of Ramin's epic score soon.
Ramin never disappoints. Thx for sharing this brilliance. # 21 title sounds like Jaimie may be finally severing ties with Cersei, then she says "no one walks away from me."
`No one walks away from me` and `Truth` - true gold! I play it on repeat... I think that the soundtrack is the only thing about this show that hasn`t disappointed me yet, apart from the actors of course, they keep getting better with each season.
Fucking hell, Ramin Djawadi is FUCKING AMAZING. He was a student of Hans Zimmer, but it's not like he lives in his shadow. His pieces are on par with Zimmer's- some beat them.
The beginning of Spoils of War (Part 1) 24:21 is an absolute goosebumps fest, especially when you remember the massive Dothraki charge slowly creeping over the horizon. Damn!
I am having a difficult time figuring out how it is possible that some people can dislike this music. I personally find Mr. Djawadi's music a masterpiece ... same goes for Hans Zimmer, Trevor Morris, Max Richter, Thomas Bergensen ... I saw the concert GAME OF THRONES last year. It was magical ! Mr. Djawadi was amazing ! Bravo !
Going through the comments “Winter is here” wins by the majority of the votes:) Mainly because its simple yet so powerful. It makes you realise our favourite show and characters are coming to an end:(
Ramin is the most amazing composer ever. Non stop goosebumps season after season. I’m so in love !!!! I can’t play it loud enough... ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Just love the music that accompanies the dragons. Congratulations to the composer, Mr. Djawadi, and his orchestra and staff. Fantastic work and imaginations
Light of the seven was great, especially the finale. I like the more exotic Melisandre and Rh'llor, even though I often confuse them. Either one of two. That dark tone just suits me. I also love Truth and of course everything with Cersei.
Reading all the conspiracy theories, recaps, reviews, and comments while listening to this soundtrack has really enhanced the experience seven fold! The question is what are we all going to do when this phenomenal once in a lifetime story comes to an end.
Yeah. From 1:10:05 it gets really good, though, but I have this feeling that from this to the end of the song it's the credits (so the scene is shorter than I had hoped). "Shall we begin" is the credits theme from episode 1 and is just as long, give or take a few seconds. Same with "The Queen's justice", it's 1 minute 24 seconds long.

Most defenitive my most favourate part - feeling Danny flying over me with her Dragons House Targaryen Theme: WHAAA HAAAA HAA HAAAAA WHAAA HAAAA AH HAA AH HA HAAAAA WHA HAAA Admit we are all rocking that chair and chanting to it😂
I think the music was a lot more subtle and meaningful in earlier seasons such as Winterfell and What is Dead May Never Die from the season 2 soundtrack.
There so much new music we've never heard and I think that's great. Even the variations on old themes have changed radically. I like the new soundtrack very much.
31:33 - 32:04 Never in my life could I have thought of better music than this for Jamie charging Daenerys. God I love that part, it has the perfect "this is your last chance of victory for your decimated army, all in" So perfect of scene it was.
Honestly, just give Ramin Djawadi the Emmy this year. He's long overdue.
his music in westworld is sensational also.. he deserves every top award there is available for music producers!
WestWIrkd and GoT soundtracks are insane wtfff
he did it :)

Dennis Pena Oh, wow! I don't think I knew that! Is that Masterclass you mention on UA-cam at all?
I loved this, thanks for having shared it! The truly great ones are humble. That's the way they learn, before shining on their own.
Wow, I love this story : )
Why did he stop making coffee, you didn't finish the story.
He became part of Zimmer's team of musicians
Daenerys has the BEST score! Nothing but respect for MY QUEEN!

Hellvetikah my favorite too...is soo beautiful😍
its really good. Especially the part where Tyrion was staring at the door. Made me feel scared for them...for whats to come...
Kevin D. E what do you think Tyrion was thinking?
I think he was thinking love never ends well, he's scared what this means for Dany and how much influence Jon will have over her vs him!
High Ground Whatever he is thinking, it probably has something to do with things said in the room with Cersei after the scene ended.

I like all the songs from GoT.
game of thrones DEFINITELY has the best soundtracks ever!!!

Not at all, Light Of the seven is and will stay the best soundtrack objectively, Light of the seven has sold more than any soundtracks.
I am still scarred to this day at the betrayal of the tv show lost!!! such a shame the end was the worst POS ever!
Prison Break also has amazing soundtrack
Bleach: the Hell Chapter OST :)
Daenerys has the best themes I swear 😍😍😍😍
It's a SHAME that this guy has not got a award yet. He really deserve it!!

D G Gaming and tha shot of kings kanding was breath taking. They made sure the theme matches the shot.
I really love the shot of the snow falling on the map of Westeros. Its a metaphor for snow falling across the actual continent.
" Winter is here " hands down the best track of this season!

Yea same here....They miss to build ENTHAPY
White Walker have no background...and we dont even know there motives. Thats wat was lacking in writing 😊
White walkers have no background...except that they have been the first ever scene in season 1, and have been the main issue in Jon Snow story line...
That new Jon - Daenerys melody in Gorgeous Beasts, See You For What You Are and Truth is so damn beautiful.
And Dragonglass. And Against All Odds. And in general it's perfect. I can't wait to hear what Ramin does with it this season.

"No One Walks Away From Me"... Jaime is abandoning Cersei, realizing what a lost cause she is. And that is when Cersei breaks down for good.
see what you for what you are...love love love that.
Love his work.
It was an absolute blessing to see Ramin live & hear these songs in person at the GOT live concert experience! Goosebumps.
I feel like "Winter is Here" is the song we will all be listening to when Game of thrones will be over..wth pain and nostalgia :(
Holy shit....1:10:05 CHILLS....definetely when credits start rolling.....
Ahhh! Omg I clicked ur time stamp and woooow 🙀
Dragonstone is one of the best composed pieces of the last 20 years. Goosebumps every time.
The beginning of Spoils of War (Part 1) 24:21 is an absolute goosebumps fest, especially when you remember the massive Dothraki charge slowly creeping over the horizon. Damn!
I love so much tracks in which is involved Daenerys theme, Breaker of the chains theme. So epic
Truth gives me Chest pains and all the feels man😓
"In winter, we must protect ourselves, look after one another."
"When snow blow and white wind blow, lone wolf dies, but the pecks survive."
Music composer of Game of Thrones main theme and any other famous movies is Iranian musician Mr. Ramin Djawadi. Long Live Persia_IRAN
Bravo !
1:13:12 this is beautiful, wow...
Essay writing has never felt so epic
Going through the comments “Winter is here” wins by the majority of the votes:)
Mainly because its simple yet so powerful. It makes you realise our favourite show and characters are coming to an end:(
Truth (and all its variations, Dany and Jon theme) is, to me, the most beautiful composition this season
Ramin is the most amazing composer ever. Non stop goosebumps season after season. I’m so in love !!!! I can’t play it loud enough... ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
DRACARYS! 25:23
SCREAMS IN DOTHRAKI
If it wasn't for Ramin Djawadi's music S08 .e03 would've been so dull.
well... all season 8 would've been dull without him...
Absolutely beautiful. Stunning work on westworld and game of thrones.
minute 50.10secs is the love theme for daeny and john. simple and exquisitely beautiful harmony
Just love the music that accompanies the dragons. Congratulations to the composer, Mr. Djawadi, and his orchestra and staff. Fantastic work and imaginations
It's over and i'm so sad, what a great show and what a great music
Winter is here left me sobbing #RipNed
Still nothing can beat "Lights of the seven"
S. Sant and the rains of castamere.
Maritza Piccarillo hahaha what light of the seven was shit ? Ok troll
Sarp Koçak what happened here
Light of the seven was great, especially the finale.
I like the more exotic Melisandre and Rh'llor, even though I often confuse them. Either one of two.
That dark tone just suits me.
I also love Truth and of course everything with Cersei.
Reign. Blood of the Dragon. The children. The red woman.
Reading all the conspiracy theories, recaps, reviews, and comments while listening to this soundtrack has really enhanced the experience seven fold! The question is what are we all going to do when this phenomenal once in a lifetime story comes to an end.
Wow... "Winter is here" has a chilling effect to it - no pun intended - and has a hauntingly melancholy vibe to it. Absolute masterpiece.
This is why Game of Thrones is the best fucking thing ever on tv.
Dragonglass is one of my favourite if not the best music I've enjoyeyd on the show
The Army of the Dead is epic. I can't imagine the scene.
Take it more that "Army of the Dead" is the ending scene and "Winter is Here" is the end credits.
Black Negan Winter is Here is too long for a credits scene. The credits roll is approx. 1m 25s long.

Most defenitive my most favourate part - feeling Danny flying over me with her Dragons House Targaryen Theme:
WHAAA HAAAA
HAA HAAAAA
WHAAA HAAAA
AH HAA AH HA HAAAAA
WHA HAAA
Admit we are all rocking that chair and chanting to it😂
Holy shit winter is here is emotional
Who agrees that the soundtracks are 7x better than before?
Kind of yeas. This soundtrack is not as good as the last one.
Not quite as good as last Season. Khaleesi, Light of the Seven and Winds of Winter are god-tier soundtracks
I prefer some of the soundtracks here to the season 6 soundtracks, but season 6 had so many soundtracks that were amazing so I'm torn
I think the music was a lot more subtle and meaningful in earlier seasons such as Winterfell and What is Dead May Never Die from the season 2 soundtrack.
There so much new music we've never heard and I think that's great. Even the variations on old themes have changed radically. I like the new soundtrack very much.
Best score starts at 1.02.30 Jon/Dany theme
31:33 - 32:04 Never in my life could I have thought of better music than this for Jamie charging Daenerys. God I love that part, it has the perfect "this is your last chance of victory for your decimated army, all in" So perfect of scene it was.
One of the most epic soundtracks of all time! Mind blowing
