I recently played this at a set I did. The reaction of the crowd was incredible. One guy came up to me crying because he was so happy to hear this song again played in a club. People who were around the first time when these songs were played understand the impact it had on a generation. Keep raving my friends.
I think some of these tracks from the 90's are so unknown to most young people you can drop them and they'd be confused but also possibly love it too. Time for a trance renaissance!
Spot on , when we all heard these in the clubs in 1998 to 2000 they was amd will always be unforgettable memories, so glad like you i was part of the generation
@@scorpioone3932 yeah I was there with you mate. Still love my dance/trance music. Unfortunately you don’t hear it enough nowadays. Funnily enough I was covering a friend who was ill for one night in the club he had a residency at. The crowd went crazy for the set as I I played stuff from 98 up to 2005. I’ve been asked to go back but that life isn’t for me now. Don’t mind doing it every so often but not every weekend.

I lost a good friend in 2017 and growing up we cruised round in his car listening to matt darey on a tape 😂 everytime i hear these tunes im 18 again and them memories live on with the music. Im now 40 😂
It’s where I heard it first. On an Essential Mix by Paul Oakenfold live from Q-Club Birmingham early ‘94. Been hooked on this kind of music ever since.
The memories that come flooding back every time I hear this track are overwhelming. Memories of my youth and the rave scene when music was all I had and all that mattered. Its the first song I ever truly fell in love with and every time I hear it I seriously bawl my eyes out.
Totally know what you mean. There are a lot of track from that era that mean a lot when I hear them but this is something special. Makes me feel exactly the way I felt when I was 15!
Not many tunes brings out the goosebumps on me! This takes me back to carefree days...happy hazy memories........the builds and drops are perfect in this track.
Matt Darey had a certain quality, he could make every track sound euphoric but make it have soul and depth too. It makes the music seem alive, something you can really be a part of. What a legend.
I come back here every year or two and it still gets me every time. Just instantly transports me back to the late nineties, me and my friends off our nuts blasting this and what is now the "classics". Awesome every time.
I never ever tire of this track or the remix... such a great time to live through with great music... let the music play on forever. Many thanks Matt Darey for this stellar remix.
Haven’t heard this tune in years until tonight at Luminosity in Holland 25/06, where Bryan Kearny killed it with a killer set and this to end with. Absolutely epic classic tune and one I love❤️👍😎
Just remember listening to this tune on my Sony cd player, walking home Christmas Day 1999. First Motorola mobile phone in my pocket, new Levi’s denim jacket on, hoping that girl might text me. What a time to be alive. Still is.
This brings me back to 20 years ago when I discovered the party scene. Such good times such good memories. Parties will never be like this again. Thank you Deko-Ze for bringing this into my life. PPM Summit 1999
If I had to choose one track that sums up the scene of the 90s I think it would be this one. I don't think it's perfect in terms of production but the ethereal vocal sample and uplifting melody are very emotive. Can't you just picture all the hands in the air of the smoky, laser filled room? So nostalgic.
ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE....this amazing song turns 25 this year.... my friend searched ebay in 2004 and paid 50$ for the vinyl,,, he still owns it.. probably the number 1 or 2 trance songs ever produced...
Definately a 3.30 / 5.30 am tune. Last time I heard this was at my last ever trance outing before moving to London, JFK on the decks at Passion in Coalville DFOP forever!
I've only been to the Emporium once and that was for Passions Autumn Extravaganza a few years back! Bryan Kearney played JFK - Good God and i'ce never heard a crowd roar like that before!
I still collect records for a hobby, but each time I hear a track that makes me feel like this, I pick it up. I have to. This track is an absolute bomb that you drop at the peak of your set and wreck the dance floor. A timeless classic.

Proper fucking breakdown, absolute anthem, I remember hearing it first in Kelly's Portrush which had the best crowd of any club period, creams courtyard couldn't touch it. Once it dropped after the breakdown it absolutely wrecked the place, only ever heard one more time for one other tune and that was Simon future shock remix. What a time to have lived, fucking excellent, lush, ministry, twilo, the tunnel, zouk mmmm
This tune (and this mix especially) still makes me smile, throw my hands in the air and not give a f**k! Even after more than 20 Years! You can't put a price on your experiences and good times. They are worth so much more than gold ever could be! Live for the moment. You never know when it will all be over! Better to regret some silly stuff you did, rather than leave this world with a list full of stuff you never got round to doing! Big love ❤❤❤❤❤
I recall hearing this late nite on 740 AM Phoenix Arizona Radio...which use to syndicate a pirate radio station out of the Twin City, Minnesota. The show was called "Beat Radio" & I think hosted by Alan Freed. Pure bliss, since Phoenix Radio really lacked in playing EDM, Trance...even the clubs. Thanks for Posting & the memories!
