I have a 1914 Hobart M. Cable upright grand that looks virtually identical to this one (may even be the same model, but a bit darker). It has been in our family home since a neighbour gave it to us in the early 1980s. I first learned to play piano on it at that time. My family (in Fort Wayne, IN) are holding on to it for me while I'm living far away in Denver.
@@RegiHedahl it’s clearly distorting when just played on my iPhone, but when I put in the ear buds it’s distortion free. The iPhone doesn’t distort anything else so not sure why. Sorry for the false alarm, I’ll delete the comment if you like, or feel free to. I don’t want to add anything negative to your video.
@@marpsr That's the price to pay when close recording a piano that is so rich in harmonics. It basically overloads small speakers. However with headphones, you get a lot of detail and you get the most accurate representation of hearing what I'm hearing right at the piano.
You have done a beautiful job! The piano looks and sounds amazing.
Beautiful tone and sound, so mellow...

Great Job, Regi. What a beautiful and beautiful sounding piano!
this looks like the exact one, same model
Is that distortion coming from the microphones? Otherwise looks and sounds nice!
Hmm, I'm not noticing any distortion through my headphones. Did you listen to it through headphones?
