Seems like this cross doesn't need it, however if you got fertility problems with the eggs. Think about adding an old rooster. That way he should have less sperm but still enough for deactivating the barriers around the eggcell.

There are no chicken roosters in the pen, so that the hens are only fertilized by pheasants.
