My dad got me this on audio cassette from Big Lots, early 90s I believe. The other side of the tape had the radio show version of Casbah.
I got a date with a memory in Paris...
Monika, This has made my evening. Trust you are well.
Probably the most popular and loved movie of Hollywood. Here, a very much abridged version on radio - the cinema of the mind's eye. A good condensed version.
Hello Joseph. This is actual real dialogue from 'Casablanca' , the movie 🎥 It is an enjoyable, if not sad movie. Greetings from Ireland☘️ on the 20th of August 2022@11.30. pm. ☘️🇮🇪☘️
The dialogue is re-enacted by the cast members for a radio play. There are differences, where they've made corrections to bad dialogue from the original movie, but it's very similar.
This was on AM740 out of Toronto the other night. Good adaptation. I wonder why Claude Rains or Peter Lorre weren't involved.
Generally speaking, only the top stars would do the show, with the rest of the regular Screen Guild cast. Some of that regular cast was better than their movie counterparts.
@@josephhewes3923 Very interesting.
Vee-zays. 😂
I heard both versions of Casablanca, and preferred the one with Hedy Lamarr and Alan Ladd
