    Amer history:
Before learning about Amer Fort, let us know a little about the history of Amer Fort. Amer Fort is located at a distance of 11 km from the city of Jaipur. The place is home to the Meenas, a tribal group from Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh from 967 CE. Later Raja Man Singh I Amer became the ruler of the fort and started rebuilding the fort. Raja Man Singh was one of the Navratnas in the court of the Mughal Emperor Akbar. This work was continued by his successors and Sawai Jai Singh, who later built the city of Jaipur, completed the rest of the work on the fort. Amer Fort has long been a luxury residence for the Rajput Maharajas and their families. The fort is famous for its delicate Hindu-style elements, but if you carefully observe the architectural style of the fort, you will realize that it is a fusion of Hindu and Muslim styles. In total, the fort took 157 years to complete. Jodha Bhai lived in this fort till she married Emperor Akbar and went to Fatehpur Sikri. To know the complete history of Fatehpur Sikri, you can open the link given in the description and know the complete history.
    Amer Fort architecture & design
Fort Amer has a total of four divisions, each of which is called a courtyard. All sections have an entrance and a gate. The main gate of the fort faces east through the Suraj Pole or Sun Gate. The gate was built by Sawai Jai Singh II.
    The first campus
The first courtyard is called Jalebi Chowk or Jaleb Chowk. Jalebi is a Persian word. Which means square. You will notice that the space here is like a square. The troops here, under the command of a commander named Fouz Bakshi, go to war and celebrate victories, which are also arranged for the royal family to view. Rooms and stables for soldiers were located here.
    The Lion Gate
See what appears here It is called the Lion Gate or the Sing Pole. This leads to the rooms of the important royal family rooms in the fort courtyard. Due to the strength of this gate, it got the name Lion Gate. The gate was guarded by guards to prevent the invaders from reaching the palaces from the outside of the gate.
    Second campus
If we go through these stairs to the second courtyard here we come to Diwan-e-Am. There are a total of 48 elephant-shaped pillars here. Of these, 16 were made of marble and 2 of red stone. Here the king wanted to say solutions to the problems and requests of the common people.
This is where we can also see the kitchens of the time. If you have seen either Jodha Akbar movie you can also see the scene where Aishwarya Rai is cooking in big roles here.
Below this, we can see a garden which also appears in a song in the movie Jodhaa Akbar.
It can be seen here the method of converting cold water into boiler or geyser i.e. hot water at that time. It is a miracle that pipes like these were built in those days. The water from the boiler comes here through these holes and is arranged like a small bathtub. These were used as latrines of that time.
See this building here. Above this is its Gold covered, so see how it shines.
If we come a little further inland from here we can see Diwan-e-Khas. The king used it for meetings with important followers.
    Third campus
From here we can enter the third premises through Ganesh Pol. It is the courtyard where the royal families and their attendants live. Ganesh Pole is made of mosaic and has many sculptures carved on it. Two buildings, Jai Mandir and Sukh Niwas were built on the premises. Between these two buildings was built a garden similar to the Mughal Gardens.
    Garden
The park was built by Raja Jai Singh who ruled from 1623 to 1668. The garden structure is based on the Mughal Garden. Hexagonal between the Jai Mandir and the Sukh Niwas Palace is a six-sided structure with a star-shaped pool with a fountain in the center.
Water is channeled into the garden from the Sukh Niwas canals and from the roofs of the Jai Mandir.
