I am convinced that the designers of Sargo boats enjoyed their nice childhoods so much when they built sofa cushion forts, snow igloos, and small tree forts to hide away in, that they applied it to their boat designs too. I myself feel so much more comfortable lifting up salon seat cushions and climbing down hidden stairways to access a "secret" sleep area with its own full bathroom, full mattress, with room to spare with standing areas, storage, and open windows. I would absolutely be happy to be the guest staying in such a cozy and cute area! I love it! That's all I need and I am more than happy to be there and contribute to the boating experience!
Stop saying "there is nothing like it" yes there is and its called Botnia Targa 45, boat that has 3 cabins, its made to fight with sea just like this boat, its extremly well made and if somebody is thinking about buying this boat, they are compering it to Targa
We get the Botnia Targas over here. MarineMax, the owner of Cruiser yachts, Northrop&Johnson, Fraser yachts a d a few other companies, sell them but they sell out of them. They get them for their northwest clients and those on the Great Lakes, but us Floridians and this people living near the Outer Banks, Louisiana or Texas want them too, we go into a waiting list amd thus the Sargo and Ranger boats are presented as options. So that becomes the choice here instead. But there are people who will, wait, for the Botnias
Hi Scuba, It is always wrong to repeat any term so much. You make a good point. Have you been on the SARGO 45 yet? I have had a chance to spend much time on it and I have talked to many that compare the SARGO's to the Targa's and though both SARGO and Targa build an excellent sea going boat, most clients agree that design and layout of the SARGO's is far more refined, practical and comfortable than that of the Targa. This would include all the models. I stand by my, "there is nothing like it" 😀 but I should have stopped saying it so much.😂
and if i talk to the Targa clients they will agree that design and layout of the Targas is far more refined, practical and comfortable than that of the Sargo. Please dont talk other boats down to make yours look better. If ypu belived in your Sargo you would let it talk for it selfs ;) and also, everyone dont need a dishwasher@@insidepassageyachtsales
Yall should get Aquaholic out there to do a walkthrough of all the available models (including this one, because this walkthrough wasn't entirely intuitive or easy to follow, not that I'll ever be able to buy one lol) Video still gets a like for the awesome boat. Well done yall.
I have not been in seas with the 45 yet but will be soon :) If it is like other SARGO's it is very stable, solid and comfortable. If the seas get very big and steep then you need to slow down to 16-18 knots so the boats don't jump the waves.
Ok, I am sorry, I get very excited! 😂 But I have seen as we present SARGO's here in North America copies of many of the design features are popping up on many different brands.
What is the air draft (bridge clearance) for Sargo 45 model? I can't find the air draft spec in your review, is it suitable for inland europe waterways such as in france, thanks
The boat has IPS and usually the hull is designed for the IPS pods, so not likely to have other engine choices available. Possibly horse power choices from Volvo power but come on...a 30 knot cruise. Can't ask for much more. I would like to see an Volvo Penta outdrive option. That's a possibility. Reduced complexity, cost and maintenance.
Hi Brain Krantz I’m AZMI from Malaysia.. Do you have smaller sizes then this ? If possible.. aluminum hull and outboard engine ( 300-350hp x 2 sets ) pls reply.. Thanks
Great boat and good presentation. Maybe you can be a little less selling and dwelling in superlatives. This isn't the reinvention of the wheel and no this won't "change the way boats are built around the world." Amazing quality though. Like the Botnia Targa boats. Just a little less pathos and blabla could do the trick.
Hello Roy, you are correct about the Superlatives, I get very excited but since introducing the SARGO's to the West Coast of North America with have seen many of their designs copied by many other brands. In North America the introduction of SARGO is changing the way boats are built.
I want one of these things, but more oriented towards practical adventure exploration. There should be less focus on luxury and more on extended time off the grid with room for six or so to fish, skin dive, spearfish, and go island camping.
Beautiful design yes. But why does SARGO design the aft ship as it was designed in the eighties. My thoughts would be more nice with negative aft. design, and would be more efficient for IPS. Same as Targa models.
Pretty obvious why not, I haven't seen any larger boats using electric motors. Even the small ones are extremely expensive and have virtually no range. Doesn't seem like electric boats work all that well, batteries are too heavy.
@@atnfn Firstly an Electric motor is way more efficient 85% as apposed to a Diesel engine 23% at best. Next...Range is a function of battery type & the number. (battery chemistry is evolving fast). An electric engine weighs 1/3 of a diesel engine. Lastly electricity can be generated by solar, wind & by the engine itself when under sail.
Dude I watched this video for a tour of the interior, to much chitchat. 12 minutes into the tour before you show the interior love the boat though. Acohholic does very nice tours
i would hjave like it whit 3 OB Mercury Verado 400 more inside room , less and easy maintenance , lower budget for fuel , even greater manouvrability with the joy stick
This video was for sure aimed at the US. Its imminent by the way he repeats himself atleast twice until he continues xD Honestly for everyone who can point out 3 countries other than Mexico Canada and the US its quite boring and feels like a stroke
Guy talking about space and features, not much on the details on the engines, fuel capacity and use, range, other things that speak to potential buyers.
What a blabber…..switched off before he got off the swim platform…..if you want to see a professional and top rate presentation, see the walk through of this Sargo with Nick Burnham Aquaholic
1) it’s called a V-berth, head or wet head, master stateroom, piloting the boat, etc 2) for a boat like this, you need to wear a dress shirt and a jacket, not like you’re going on a dog walk 3) instead of don’t/boating I’d use terms like vessel and exploring
Calm down. That bow table is definitely not “amazing”. Appreciate your sincerity but it’s way too much, massive over-selling. The helm is also not “incredible”.
Again, I go to the website, request price. No, I will not request price because it should not be a secret, quality has its price, I know that so stop making a big deal out of it and just tell me.
This terrible presentation alone would stop me buying this boat. I already know Sargo boats and they're very well built. A great hull, IPS drive (which weren't mentioned) make manoevering very simple. However, these are not a particularly economical craft. Internally, they're very well built, but with little in the way of imaginative design. Lots of sharp corners and space that could be better used. 3 cabins and only 2 heads? That might be okay in Scandinavia, but not here in the UK, or, I suspect, America. There's plenty of room on a 45' plus boat for much more innovative and thoughtful design. Having said all that, Sargo build an excellent, high quality boat with terrific sea-keeping qualities. This guy nust couldn't sell it
Just a question to you on the heads comment; why would anyone need more than 1 toilet/shower on a boat that will only be used by family and close friends? I have a 400m2 house, and only 2 toilets. 🤣 I'm not saying you are wrong in many require and expect 1 heads per cabin, but I dont understand the need. I would rather order the boat with 1 and use the other as storrage. However, maybe only me (from Norway).
SHOW the BOAT with Less TALK….Its nice but too much TALK……. WE WANT to SEE the BOAT not hear YOUR VOICE or See YOUR FACE…maybe put a HOT Blonde Female in as a Narrative It will PUMP your Views UP!!!! (I’m trying to be helpful not Hurtful.)
Nice boat. Bad video. Too much hyperbole and an inexperienced host that babbles and stumbles. The dishwasher "works quite excellent". "It has a toilet and a sink. Very luxurious for a boat in driving." Actually, now that I think about it, this video is a good example of what NOT to do in boat walk through. So there's that.
This guys makes me want to never watch another Sargo video. He doesnt speak well. He exaggerates. I realize he is a boat salesman, but some dude dropping a few million on this does not want to hear your stammering.
It's weird I watched another video he had done on his own company channel, I think. And he didn't talk like this. He didn't stammer and speak slowly with pauses like he does here. I don't know what was going when he recorded this video. Maybe he wasn't feeling well.

Gorgeous. This absolutely nails the sweet spot of my ideal boat. Functional, no unnecessary bling, beautifully thought out.
My first order if I ever won in a lottery!!! Absolutely beautiful. Best!!!
I agree. If I was in financial position to get a boat this would be it.
Very impressive ship. Best looking motorboat in that size range.
Stop saying "there is nothing like it" yes there is and its called Botnia Targa 45, boat that has 3 cabins, its made to fight with sea just like this boat, its extremly well made and if somebody is thinking about buying this boat, they are compering it to Targa
Well, he's right that there are few US or Canadian boats like it. But aye, several Nordic options. ;-)

😀I missed the washer and dryer location too!
One of my dream boats to use in rough weather conditions!
Wonderful, one of the most beautiful and practical boats I have ever seen. I would love to see a test with rough seas to see how it behaves.
SHE!! Manners please!❤️
I have not been in seas with the 45 yet but will be soon :) If it is like other SARGO's it is very stable, solid and comfortable. If the seas get very big and steep then you need to slow down to 16-18 knots so the boats don't jump the waves.
*SARGO Boats Official* Absolutely stunning boat, but way out of reach of the common man/woman. Thanks for taking the time to show us. GOD Bless.
beautiful vessel, amazing and well thought out design. 🎉
I was amazed how large and luxurious it was and how it drove like a much smaller more sporty and nimble vessel
I saw this boat today at the Gothenburg boatshow. Easilly my favorite of all the boats there.
Love this boat. I wonder how much you can customize the cabin spaces to suit your family?
Thank you for a great tour, love everthing, well maybe not the price🤠
”Change the Way we build boats forever…” Please…
Ok, I am sorry, I get very excited! 😂 But I have seen as we present SARGO's here in North America copies of many of the design features are popping up on many different brands.
After 5 minutes, I’m moving on
I couldn't cope with listening to him either. I was wide awake and he made me want to go to sleep.
Great thought has been put in to the design of this boat..
Jeez what a sales tone
Great boat, awful tour. Less chatter, more boat please.
In this day and age, it's the computer people can't do without. I've been living without tv since something like 2006. No need for tv. Just sayin 🙃
Amazing boat
thanks for the review
I love these boats!!!
What is the air draft (bridge clearance) for Sargo 45 model? I can't find the air draft spec in your review, is it suitable for inland europe waterways such as in france, thanks
Are you planning a fly bridge version for the 45?
Yes, SARGO is but it will not be very soon.
Looks nice, what's the range?
Too much chatter; not enough images of the boat under way.
I really like Sargo boats 😃👌🏻❤️
Will you be at the 2023 Seattle show with boats?
Come on!!! Stop the bla bla bla... Just show the boat!!!
Hahahaha true too much talk
Agree. Learn from Aquaholic.
💯
Yes, this guy is awful. Endless embellishment.
It's what they do, it's like they discovered the boat.
do they give a choice of engines like cummins or is volvo standard?
The boat has IPS and usually the hull is designed for the IPS pods, so not likely to have other engine choices available. Possibly horse power choices from Volvo power but come on...a 30 knot cruise. Can't ask for much more. I would like to see an Volvo Penta outdrive option. That's a possibility. Reduced complexity, cost and maintenance.
I've looked at the SARGO website but can't determine the difference between the Sargo 45 and Sargo 45 Explorer? Beautiful boats!
For the others, it's just a finish thing. Black rails and different colour hull
The Explorer is a different set of aesthetic options, hull colors, blinds, carpets and other trim features.
@@insidepassageyachtsales Okay got it. So purely cosmetic options.
I would prefer not having the roof openings I see trouble with leakage over the years.
Hi Kent, When I was on my first SARGO I thought the same. We have sold well over 50 now and the sunroof's do not leak. It is very impressive.
what is the Sea rating of this boat?? Could I travel up the coast of California to Alaska?
Hi Brain Krantz
I’m AZMI from Malaysia..
Do you have smaller sizes then this ? If possible.. aluminum hull and outboard engine ( 300-350hp x 2 sets ) pls reply.. Thanks
Hi Mohd, Yes, SARGO makes smaller sizes. All SARGO's are fiberglass hulls with diesel inboard power.
amazing...beautiful
Great boat and good presentation. Maybe you can be a little less selling and dwelling in superlatives. This isn't the reinvention of the wheel and no this won't "change the way boats are built around the world." Amazing quality though. Like the Botnia Targa boats.

Incredible boats
I like the Finnish finish
I want one of these things, but more oriented towards practical adventure exploration. There should be less focus on luxury and more on extended time off the grid with room for six or so to fish, skin dive, spearfish, and go island camping.
I realize he is excited about it but the sales pitch is almost pleading 🥺 let the boat sell itself.
Nice layout

I respectfully disagree :)
This video has enough information to fill 5-6 minutes but its 20 minutes in length.
Very nice, I hope I win lottery. Would love to live on it.
Can this model or smaller be trailerable?
yes
Nice video! 🙂
No mention of the washing machine, then?
So it costs about $1,000/hr to drive around in this beast?
I want one so bad!!!
Only 5 gallons per nm!
Outstanding!
When we were aboard we were seeing just under 1 mile per gallon at 30 knots. More than 3 times that at hull speeds.
If i win the lottery i will buy this
Why do people continually call an engine (internal combustion) a motor (no combustion)?
I want it!
He still has his shoes on😢😢
Prices starting at 1 million Euro.
Is it using an Electric engine?...if not why not?
