I find it unfortunate for myself that whenever I engage boss fights I can only focus on mechanics and damage and looking for attack patterns, I can't seem to focus on the beauty of the music or arena. Thank you for helping me appreciate an art form that completes the experience, lost on a sweaty gamer.
Try the Apostle in the Windmill village, he's a lot weaker than the divine tower one or the duo, and the setting makes the music and the fight 200x better. Still not a pushover however...he will just give a lot less trouble than the others, and it gave me a great chance to learn his attacks
When Apostle creates tornado, you have plenty of time to do so. IDK if is it scrypted, but on my playthrough the melody-bass part always accompanied that flashy move, so fucking epic and gorgeous
This, honestly, is part of the reason I don't feel bad about playing the game with the Easy Mode mod. I LOVE scenery porn and great music, and playing the game on "easy" allowed me to experience all of that during each of the boss fights without getting destroyed by lack of concentration (which is an issue at the best of times with my cognitive issues).
@@requiem762 well your situation is excusable since you have cognitive issues, but really the game doesn't need easy mode. If a boss is harder than usual compared to the rest of the area, it's not meant to be tackled early - as simple as that. There are many methods to even "cheese" bosses, using arrows and what not etc, you just need to use the tools given to you efficiently. All I would say it's absolutely possible to pay attention to music while fighting bosses at the same time, unless the bosses have bombastic attacks that just eclipses out the music - in that case you can't listen to the music properly anyways even with easy mode.
Ya know... You could spend the next while covering only elden ring tracks and Id be pretty content with that, the OST is so damn good, and the covers only make it better
They're week to sleep, for anyone having trouble in the duo fight. Sleep arrows, Sword of St. Trina, Dolores (a spirit summon) all trivialize that fight!

Dude, this song is a banger both in the game and here. Fighting the Godskin Noble for the first time in Volcano Manor was made so epic because of the music, and even if I didn't really like the Duo fight, I gotta admit the second phase music is really good

You don't just take main part and blast it on a guitar with flood of percussion to make it "symphonic", or "epic". It have pacing, tempo and harmony above everything else. For me music helped... if you dodge main attack to the rythm of main part of the theme you'll do pretty good.
