Single dwelling houses are heated during the cold season using either heat pumps, mostly air to air, electric panel ovens, or sometimes with wood fired fireplaces. In apartment blocks heating supplied by hot water piped from an often distant central heating facility, running on garbage, is becoming more and more common.

I love the fall colors of trees,beautiful video.
Btw what are the current rules for electric vehicles in Norway as far as driving on bus lane on highways leading into Oslo.I visited last in 2018 and will be again visiting Norway in may and thinking of renting a electric car this time.I heard the petrol prices have also gone through the roof now.

Bus lane is allowed during certain times of day. Yeah petrol is high, happy i got electric even though electricity also expensive.

During morning rush hours (7 to 9 am I believe) at least two persons must ride in each electric car for it to be allowed to use the bus/taxi lanes. Outside those hours there is no such restriction. At least that's how the rule is regarding E18 from Asker to Oslo.
