When you saw the 'Lioness' I thought you were going to spit your drink out. Then there was Mitch! Lol best look ever with Slappy. I did warn you that you were going to need your helmet. @@megandelynn6114 i know right, best look ever! I had been requesting this since the first time he did a PTX reaction, it was so worth the wait.
MItch and Kirstin are so wonderful together. They've had years of matching their voices in tone and timbre, and the effect can be magical - like here! They both have their chance to go wild, and wild is so appropriate here. Kirstin is most lovely, IMO, when she embraces the non-European look. I want to say she looks feral here - and yet she's also warm and loving. Matt's voice is deliciously warm and smooth - warmer and mellower than Scott's. Have you done Shallow yet?
Mitch and Kirstie share the lead in the PTX version of Let It Go (the real one, not the Superfruit version, LOL!), and sometimes it's hard for me to tell who's singing lead - there's no video to refer to. I can usually tell which is which because they've got different vibrato styles, but I swear, in that song, Mitch deliberately mimics Kirstie's vibrato just to make it harder for me!
This is my favorite riff that Mitch does! The Whole thing is amazing vocally, and just fun with each member subtly representing a character from the the Movie. Also, Kristen"s dress. (Just saying)
There is a snippet in one of their concert behind the scenes videos where they are working out this arrangement. They have it mostly together, then Scott asks for one more modulation (key change) "Let's Beyonce it up." Mitch responded "do you know how high i'll have to go???" Then "ok, sure, let's see how it sounds." It sounds like magic to the rest of us mere mortals.

That’s exactly what I was doing as Kirstie was just about to finish her part. The funny thing is he was looking down the second Mitch took over and soared to the skies and I literally saw his jump scare or the look of shock on his face.
Of course we knew that 😁😂.

Hello Saucey Dad, How could you not love this. Loved your reaction! Thanks to @Anessa for requesting it. Pure Pentatonix Perfection. Matt so deep and warm. Scott with pop vocals and riffing. Kirstie so sharp and belting. Kevin driving the beat and the drums with those sounds. And Mitch - so golden and smooth at the beginning, taking over seamlessly from Kirstie then belting and rising into the stratosphere. "What was that?" you ask....that, good sir, was Mitch taking off....and for you it was another Mitch-slap.... "jumped in the ear holes". LOL. I laughed when you said you were scared to put the headphones back on, because at that point Mitch was not even nearly done with his move into the stratosphere. All of them with those harmonies and ear candy. Just beautiful, stunning arrangement, great videography and a masterpiece of vocal performance. Goose Bump City.
Your pouty face kills me😂. They should do more Disney, and Disney should use them for their Movies. Love Matt's bass in this. He just has a beautiful voice whether he's singing or being a bass guitar.

Yes he does a run back down after the high notes that often get overlooked since the camera is no longer on him and Scott is also riffing WhOaOa with the camera focused on him. Most only notice Scott there but if you keep your ear focused on Mitch’s part you’ll catch his genius run. His runs don’t get as much credit as Scott’s since his aren’t as in your face as Scott’s are. They seem more natural but he’s very much just as capable at hitting every run Scott does.

I love this cover . . . with one exception: They do one too many key changes for my taste. It's almost like they're trying to win a "key change" competition
I sometimes have a hard time distinguishing between Mitch and Kirstie. This was a good example. Sometimes it comes down to enunciation of words.
And you are right, Matt's voice is like butter.
@@ellenhulslander2897 yes when this cover first came out and we didn’t have the video yet many people were confused at the transition from Scott to Matt and back to Scott and then the same with kirstin to Mitch. Both Scott and Matt and kirstin and Mitch can have very similar sounds and tones. Happens a lot between Mitch and Kirstie which I think part of the reason Scott has so many leads since their background harmonies blend so well. Another example of the Scott/Matt blend was when they sang background parts to Mitch and Kirstie on the wicked special. What is this feeling. They sounded like one voice.

Also...they were dressed to represent the characters in the Lion King...Kirstie is Nala, Kevin is Simba, Mitch is Zazu, Scott is Pumbaa and Matt is Timon....Love the multiple key changes. In the Behind the scenes video they talk about doing that when they were arranging this song.
Did you know that the gentleman who voiced Pumbaa has passed? Still love the song and video. I was working at a small movie theater when this came out. Got to watch it before the real release. Good times.

Another example of all of them shining in the same video is also Amazing Grace. Can’t remember if you already did it since I binge watched all your videos when I first found you a while back. Check it out if you haven’t or listen again. It’s worth a a second, third, or fourth listen. All their songs are to make sure you get everything they wanted the listener to get from the performance of their arrangement.

Magic....alien magic.....Ya Matt's bass line in this is really INSANE!!! Yep Helmet on for this one LOL! ....And Mitch Slapped....even when you know! This is definitely one of my favorites because they ALL shine in their area. Scott vocal fry and riffs, Matt bass sounding real, Kevin laying it down, Mitch hitting the skyline, Kirstie blowing up with her power belt. It has it all. Just amazing!!

Being a mom of 2 son’s, the oldest born in 1987, I watched this movie so many times and never got sick of it. Why know video?
The recording company tends to be a bit heavy handed on the copyright claims, and the videos seem to trigger that more. So you will see many people use filters or lower opacity, or in rare cases when needed no video at all.
This one is all over UA-cam guess I’ve never seen it have a problem before. Was surprised
@@suebennett4121 The bigger reaction channels generally seem to be copyrighted more, while the smaller can get by easier. But sometimes it honestly seems random!
@@suebennett4121 I don't think anyone's found a rhyme nor reason for why they strike some and not others. We've just heard from reactors in general, and certainly many of the bigger channels, that it happens a LOT with PTX reactions.
