BYU sure is no Blue blood team with respect. What I mean by this is most of those people playing for BYU come from Mormon culture or either they converted. That's why you see so many white and Pacific Island players for University of Utah and BYU. That's a state full of Mormon people. I don't mean that disrespectful towards Mormons. The Mormon missionaries have converted a huge amount of Pacific Island people for the last 100 years. Especially in the last 40 years. Those are some big strong guys typically speaking. Most Mormons are white, Hispanic and Pacific islander heritage. That means something when you're recruiting people from the west of USA. A lot of Hispanic and Pacific Islanders. I don't consider BYU or University of Utah Blue blood and I don't think most people think of Colorado is Blue blood. It takes a long time to get that little stamp. Alabama, Notre Dame, those Florida schools, Penn State some of those SEC teams etc. I think of those schools just having shots at the better players to offer. Colorado coaching and scouting really should go after some of these under recruited players regardless of ethnicity. Sanders is going to hurt Colorado if he continues to just start one ethnicity for the most part. They're never going to be the best team around if they do that. This game was decided weeks ago. People must admit that the CU OC is a fraud and awful at calling a planning game; it concerns me that Coach Prime continues to praise them, Shurmur. I understand he caters to Shedeur and Coach Prime's only interest in passing. Shedeur did not improve on getting the ball out of his hands, which hurt the team every week, and for good reason, CU cannot recruit intelligent offensive linemen who can actually play. You cannot win without a run game, you cannot win without blocking, and you cannot win by calling the game plan week after week with players only interested in stats. J5 has no business entering the NFL draft, and he is delusional if he thinks he has proved anything. You cannot win with a revolving coaches door at key positions. I am sure, however, that Coach Prime understands this dynamic and is working to correct it.
Reality finally hit. CU lost to every good team they faced. No one wants to admit it. Any team that is well-coached, has good trenched played, or is totally not out-tatlented is beating CU. Prime is not a big time coach. If the Big 12 was halfway decent in the first half of the season, there are certainly less wins. These guys have been fooled. If they had any sense they would enter to portal or not keep their commitment to CU
Quick and Simple Buffs wanted playoffs and didn’t get it but that doesn’t mean you Quit at the bowl game. Coach is now 0-3 in bowls to win supports you need bowl wins on your coaching stats. Congrats on that Hesiman for Hunter but what I saw today was just a Confernce game not a wow amazing bowl game and I think that’s the main reason CU failed wasn’t anything Speical to play against. Bowl games are supposed to be fun and a honor to be at if CU didn’t want to be there don’t take the invite next time. Best of luck in 2025 Buffs football
OC Shurmer only has about 3 plays in his playbook, Has to be the EASIEST offense to prepare for in all of FBS 1 Throw to the sideline for 1 yard gain. 2. Run up the middle where all the big dudes are in the way 3. Pass plays on 3rd and 2 and then 4th and 2 to give the ball up on downs at the 50 yd line Wanna see a good CU offense? go back and watch the TCU clinic.. Plays that space the field for lots of room to run. Tight Ends a major factor in first downs and touchdowns OLine giving Shedeur LOTS of time for bombs down the field. Motion to see if they are in man or zone Run plays to the outside where the holes are..

Shedeur was lost with the protections. He won't make it as a star QB . He keeps holding the ball. Without run blocking you can't run with those backs.
Colorado is the most undisciplined team I've ever seen.... it starts with the coaching, the terrible QB the awful OL and DL ... I don't get how anyone would draft this Sanders in the first round... that's ridiculous
LOS wins games.
@@dirkpalmer1067 100%!!!!!!!!
The defense was a problem. Travis didn't look good on defense, certainly not a first round defensive back.
@@ChrisSimpson-j6x 4 turnovers and no points off of them… sorry but defense can only do so much. Started the game stopping BYU multiple times in short field situations… one TD was a special teams play… defense was not a problem
@@BuffsNewsWeeklydefense got bullied in the run game all night.
@@MidwayQBClub by then the game was over… first half the D did what they needed to and got no help, add the interception to start the half and that game was done
@@BuffsNewsWeekly it was 20-0 @ halftime and BYU had shot their self in the foot multiple times of it would have e been worse. No, the defense didn't do their job I'm the forst half either.
@ again you didn’t watch did you? They got one TD off a punt return, and the defense held them to field goals on two drives where it started in field goal range… just give up already, it’s obvious either you didn’t watch and are spouting stats, or didn’t pay attention, one of the two
Colorado struggled against decent teams all year but bc of the record of beating all sorry teams people gave Colorado more credit then they deserved. Colorado fans talked noise about beating Oklahoma state a team well under 500 they put up 50sum points and act like they had beaten ohio state, arizona sucked, baylor sucked the list goes on just go rewatch those games Colorado won this year they didn't beat one decent team so i knew the byu bowl game wasn't go be a walk in the park. The Colorado schedule sucked this year
So accurate
GOD MADE SURE BYU WON AND NOT CRIME TIME WHO USES GODS NAME TO COVER UP HIS LIES...
If you think a 2 year mission is an ADVANTAGE, you are kidding yourself 😂😂. It is NOT an advantage.
Stepping away from football completely for two years to go to Brazil or Africa and talk about God is not going to help athletics. 😂
@@markwaite2846 yea when they first come back of course it’s not…. It fact is a 24-26 year old that has been playing football for 5 years is going to look different than an 18 year old freshman on another team!!!!!
Your WRONG Russ!! there is NO sizeable age ADVANTAGE!! BYU avg age is 21.5 yrs old. Rest of college avg age is 21.0. And 2/3 of the roster didn't go on a mission.
@ I love people saying 2/3rds… that’s still a third. It’s not a massive difference of advantage but it is something they have going for them. Is every single player over age no!!! 😂😂😂. For instance Tyler batty their most dominate d lineman that absolutely dominated… guess what, he did a 2 year mission and is a Senior!!! 😱 he was going against out Freshman tackle and the difference in strength was night and day… so before everyone screams your wrong, no where did I say all of them. But a lot of the best players on the team did…
Anyone not buying the hype knows Colorado is average at best beating crappy teams and losing to just ok teams.. lucky they didn’t get beat by 50
Yep
Hahahahha. The hype is over.
Hahaha byu ain’t in the playoffs either
No line no time
LOL
No more publicity no more videos I am glad all the Sanders will be leaving
OC Shurmer only has about 3 plays in his playbook, Has to be the EASIEST offense to prepare for in all of FBS
1 Throw to the sideline for 1 yard gain.
2. Run up the middle where all the big dudes are in the way
3. Pass plays on 3rd and 2 and then 4th and 2 to give the ball up on downs at the 50 yd line
Wanna see a good CU offense? go back and watch the TCU clinic..
Plays that space the field for lots of room to run.
Tight Ends a major factor in first downs and touchdowns
OLine giving Shedeur LOTS of time for bombs down the field.
Motion to see if they are in man or zone
Run plays to the outside where the holes are..
