Bon dia! Thanks for the comment. I recommend typing 'when we was' into youglish.com and listening to other people saying it. try to mimic their pronunciation and really notice the position of your lips, tongue, mouth etc. I hope that helps
Thanks for watching and watching. For me, there is an intrusive /r/ between idea and or, and or and overview. Some Americans and some other accents pronounce the /r/ at the end of ‘or’ so in that case it would be consonant to vowel linking, not intrusion. I hope that makes sense
