Picture this: it's late at night, and after a long journey, we finally touched down in Tokyo. Our home for the next few days? The charming Hop inn hotel in Asakusa. Nestled just a 5-minute stroll away from the train station, it was the perfect haven for weary travelers like us.
Upon stepping into our room, we were greeted with a delightful surprise - a plethora of complimentary amenities awaited us! From toothbrushes to bath salts, towels to shavers, the hotel had us covered. And let's not forget about the unlimited coffee and tea stationed at the lobby - talk about hospitality at its finest!
Sure, the room was your typical cozy Japanese size, but what it lacked in space, it more than made up for in cleanliness and comfort. After settling in, our grumbling stomachs led us to Sukiya, a gem of a restaurant serving up affordable Japanese delights. Nothing beats a late-night feast to fuel our Tokyo adventures!
With our hunger satisfied and our spirits high, we made a pit stop at Don Quixote - a treasure trove for all your snacking needs. Loaded up with goodies, we braved the chilly night air back to our hotel, eager to unwind.
And unwind we did! A soothing bath after a tiring day is good, and with the tantalizing scent of lavender bath salts filling the air, relaxation was inevitable. It was the perfect end to an exhilarating day of exploration.
