Membrane system is not present in Aspen. For this, one has to do programming using Aspen Custom Modeler, and then exporting that model to use in Aspen Plus.
Exergy of a stream is calculated by adding its physical, chemical, potential and chemical exergy values. Usually, potential and chemical exergy values are smaller in magnitude, and are considered negligible. Hence, the total exergy value is calculated as the sum of physical and chemical exergy values for a stream. Hope that helps!
Dear Shafeeque, Thank you for the valuable suggestion. It will be uploaded soon. If you want me to address any particular problem, please mention that as well. Thank you.

If you wanted to determine the chemical exergy of a polymer, how can you do it?
Hello sir,
Thank you for this informative video.
Can you please share the reference of the formula through which you have calculated the exergy value?
Santosh, these formulas are easily available in the literature.
@@aspenchemchannel can you please comment one of them?
I mean DOI number!
Can we make a hybrid model with absorber and membrane for co2 capture from flue gas

why the chemical exergy is considered?

hi, can be the physical exergy be negative?
No. It will always be a positive number.
@@aspenchemchannel im running a simulation in aspen and some streams give me negative exergy, you know what could that be?
Please change the reference conditions, as explained in the video.
nice job
Thanks!
👍
If you dont feel bad i recomend that you should provide lecture in urdu language and you should be present which may help to increase your reviews.
