Sorry for your loss. I firmly believe that you and her shall one day be reunited in the "Cosmic Force", yes I said that. I Believe in God and The Force as well. We never die, consciousness and feeling and intelligence is just something that cannot be extinguished. I love life but still yearn for the eventual next phase when I can at last be with a woman whom I was simply not meant to be with in this life. As long as my mom is there and at last healthy there, I will be far more than happy.

This so takes me back to my childhood in the 80s.... I was like 8-13 years old when I started to listen to music and boy did I have my share of tracks that reminded me of pre-teen childhood crushes. Rita and Jennifer particularly.... the good ole days!
Timecop1983 and Dana Jean Phoenix are always a match made in heaven. This was great! Can't wait for the album to come out. July 3rd is my birthday too, so that makes it even more special. Nobody does Dreamwave like Timecop1983 in my opinion.

The midnight got me into retro SYNTHWAVE and that’s when I discovered Timecop as well afterwards. So beautiful. Even though I was born in 1991 I can feel the retro SYNTHWAVE go through me and pulsate me. For some strange reason, this music makes me happy, other than EDM and dubstep.

And they'd want to be frozen by about 1992/1993. Grunge and gangsta rap made music into the garbage it still mostly is as of May 2021. I know I'd want a period of stasis until Kurt Cobain and Tupac Shakur's spotlight days were finished. Real music was from cavemen humming and stick beating until the end of the eighties, since the ninties, music is a sad immitation of what was once a fine art form.

I was not really there but I felt as If I was there watching over the mother I would one day be born to. My mom was told by three or four doctors between ages 15 and 20 that she would NEVER be able to have children but she had me and my younger brother. I know that I was observing her years before I was physically born to her. I don't know how everything in the universe works nor do I expect to ever know everything, but I am thankful that everything came into what it did.

Pretty sad that in the 4 years since discovering this scene, what little notoriety it IS making is mostly negative criticism. The fact that Chris White's "reviews" are getting more thumbs up, while each of NRW's videos are getting more and more thumbs down shows that this scene will never get popular.
And ya know what? Good. In a few years when the haters and trolls realize that their words have no effect on us fans of the community/scene, they'll get bored and leave. And it'll be like they were never even here. We are a group of people who enjoy music on a different level than the mainstream. And if Taylor Swift wants to get in on it with her new song "Styles" (or any pop artist for that matter), we'll embrace them with open arms.
A shame the mainstream can't do the same.

It's been taken over by pop stars and rap artists and the DJ's are all about money and no skill anymore and as a result you get watered down music with overused pitched up and down samples and lame "drops" in every song. And why is this? The music was hijacked by mainstream kids and called "EDM" by the media. Do you really want pop stars and rap artists hijacking Synthwave? Hipsters latching on to it making it the "next big thing" or renaming it "SDM" or some shit like that"? Hell no. Be happy it's underground, because the music has yet to be corrupted by any poser or wannabe like Tiesto or Guetta yet. To me Synthwave defines what the underground should be about: music for groups of people who actually understand it and call it their own.

Listening to this makes me think how far we have come, from cold shitty mud hunts to skyscrapers, from toiling away at fields to make sure you got enough food the next day to automated tracking of weather and advanced machinery for farming, signalling to your neighbours with a fire lit torch to advanced communications at the touch of a button of your smartwatch. We come a long way in a short amount of time of less than 5,000 years. Incredible, scary and sad. :l
