Yeah with Genevieve over planning (sadly) and Rachel moving below her on target list, and having Andy as a new target as they play the middle - with an idol- Rachel has to be the favorite rn
Know-It-All was the first podcast I was interested outside the tv show itself, because I’m such a big fan of Rob and Mr. Novelist Fishie as great players inside the game.❤❤ no matter how many diff faces in all diff survivor podcasts, these two together is still THE BEST! They talk so smoothly with each other in conversation, it feels like two lovely brothers and families🥰
Rob, you definitely deserve to be in the top 25 for cameos! You're so good at what you do and are a Survivor legend in your own right. Carolyn was a joy this week - great discussion you two!!
Last night's vote really solidified this season being better than 45 for me. At this point a year ago, I was getting increasingly frustrated by the Reba 4 being unopposed week after week. They teased the idea that that could happen again with Gabe's confessional about this being the last vote he needs to lock down the game, and so I was pleasantly surprised that Beka didn't let it happen!
I feel like most of the 45 cast was just bad at Survivor. Like that doesn't mean one or two weren't great, but that DOES mean I entirely get letting one tribe dominate them. Though did they even have numbers at the F9 with the voting bullshit
Any chance they improve the SITD odds in future to 1/4 after this proof that players don't find it all that valuable? IE: If they had a 25% chance of it hitting, I feel like they wldn't have gotten e'one to agree to sacrifice it🤔Don't think the show (Jeff) likes when players invalidate their advantages, so do they make it more valuable in future to justify keeping it?
Also I think he’s playing into his second side - ego. Once he gets past that he’ll have humility. Ego gets survivors in the end, he will overplay his hand
Haven't watched yet but I'll be interested in Stephen's take on whether voting out Gabe was a good move or not by Caroline and Kyle. I was surprised that Rob and Q thought it was good in their podcast. I think it was a terrible move, especially for Caroline. She had a solid unbreakable three and a forth that was close enough to them and she gave it up - for what? I predict Caroline is going out soon and will not make the finale solely because of this vote.
I’m glad to know I wasn’t the only one making comments about Sue while watching… I just kept saying why doesn’t she just wash her face in the ocean or something… it was pouring at tribal.. why doesn’t she just wipe her face or something… 🤷♀️
I always wondered about what Kyle said in one of the first episodes, something regarding wanting a good person to win for once. I always felt like it was foreshadowing or meant something to how the season plays out. At first i thought it was meant for kyle. But after listening to the podcast i was thinking about how teenys edit highlights them as the empathetic good natured person. Now i wonder if its foreshadowing their win. Or maybe im reading too much into it lol
Edit wise i think this Rachel's game to lose. Sam and or Andy still are viable winners but after Rachel's she doesn't want to be the captain she wants to be the ocean it's almost sealed the deal.
The Know-It-Alls are a staple to watch after every episode. Really enjoy hearing your guys perspective every week, appreciate the insights as always. I’m really enjoying this season mainly due to the cast, but I do think it’s shined a light on a glaring problem for the show. The biggest issue with Survivor currently is Jeff as the showrunner. From forcing the players to constantly lose their votes at every turn, or pushing useless twists like the rice negotiation that have zero impact at all, he gets in the way too much of the game to serve his own ego. Probst is not the star of the show that he thinks he is, the players and actual game are. This cast has delivered in spite of him and production getting way too involved. Much love fellas, keep up the great work.
Nah, Jeff IS Survivor. Keep in mind, the man is constantly under pressure from CBS to be upping viewership, not to mention pressure from the fans. There are a whole team of producers who make decisions, and the fact that these are the most watched seasons of Survivor for years tells me that Jeff is trying hard to entertain the fans. A show that is almost 50 seasons long needs to try new things and make mistakes along the way. The one constant this show has is Jeff Probst, and how much love he clearly shovels into Survivor every day. His attitude is definitely contagious and spreads to the editors, producers, and the players. The man makes mistakes, but he deserves infinite credit as well, because very much created the show and has kept it alive for 25 years.
@@icedcovfefe6580 I don’t agree at all, especially that he “IS Survivor.” There might be several producers too, but he is ultimately the showrunner who has final say on those decisions. But to each their own, appreciate your perspective truly. Thanks for sharing and hope all is well with you 🙏🏼
@EvZotti lol, it’s a good thing you don’t work for CBS. If you did, you’d be fired within a month. Get real. Jeff is Survivor. Almost 50 seasons. That says whatever he is doing is working. If Jeff wasn’t on Survivor, that would be the end of it. I love Jeff and can say that majority of Survivor fans love Jeff too. Jeff is the face of the show!!!!!!!
@@girlloveshemp642 17 people have liked my comment, one has liked yours lol I think that alone speaks to not everyone agreeing with your opinion or that everyone loves Jeff. He is not the end all, be all with Survivor and the show would be fine without him. He’s also not the star of the show at all. The players and game are. You’re entitled to your opinion though. Just because people don’t have the same viewpoint as you, doesn’t make you right. Maybe lose the attitude going forward too. Take it easy.
I was ready to post about the Hammock curse the last two episodes. But, the players shown lounging in the hammock did not get voted out in either episode. Gabe was in the hammock the prior episode. But, I don’t think that counts. 😅
They did but it can’t be the real reason. I do think it was similar to what they said-her knowing the votes wouldn’t be there to take her out next round or so, but unfortunately she told one too many ppl and it blew up.
I wouldn’t discredit Kyle’s immunity wins. The challenge where 1 woman and 1 man won individual immunity, Kyle still managed to beat the whole field all the women and the men lost to him. Beyond that the mergatory win was just as good as the immunity where Gabe won. They did the team section of the challenge and then won the individual section. If you want to put an asterisk for the win where he lost to Genevieve and Teeny, then sure just also mention that Teeny and Genevieve won immunity also. Give them more credit rather than downgrading Kyle’s credit
I think it's not that their downgrading Kyle's wins but more about the fact that it paints an unfair target on his back. At least that's how I feel. He literally gets 3rd in one challenge but gets the necklace so the other two left in the challenge get the heat taken off of them. Kyle on the other hand gets all the heat yet he didn't even get first
if we have another "every vote went against what i wanted except a few, and people liked me, so i am the best survivor player' bs. no, if you are a passenger the whole season and win just because you are likable, then you are not the best player. stop it.
Kyle basically needs to immunity winning streak his way to the end. So far Gabe has been his biggest contender for challenge wins, even beating him once. Maybe voting out Gabe was a good move for Kyle because he is now more likely to keep winning individual immunities.
I don't remember how good Kyle is at solving puzzles, but at some point (maybe at the final immunity challenge), a puzzle might be involved. I'm reminded of the time when Ozzy lost a puzzle challenge.
Lol Sue's drawing dead with an idol in her pocket, but Andy's a viable candidate. I mean, if we go by the edit, it's pretty clear who's getting the W here. Andy's getting a lot of screentime, but even edit's not really giving him any credit for the moves he believes he's making, we're getting everything from his own perspective, because most of his castmates don't see him as a contender, and even the edit's clearly telling us that he's just a +1 for everyone until he starts leaning into his delusions. But if we disregard the edit and only look at what's in front of us and everyone's potential, then Kyle's drawing dead unless he can win every single immunity till the end, Andy's drawing dead for the same reason stated above - nobody's giving him any credit and even if he was to reach the ftc, they'd probably laugh at him trying to claim all the moves he "orchestrated", everyone else is still a possible candidate, cause there are multiple potential paths for them to make an impact. So, in terms of edit 1 person has a chance, without the edit everyone other than Andy and most likely Kyle still has a chance.
Survivor needs to come up with some new immunity challenges it’s the same recycled challenges over and over again. And it’s been the same concept balance yourself and balance balls. No wonder Kyle seems to keep winning it’s the same challenge every week
They’ve had lots of new challenges this year I’ve been loving it. This week is a repeat and not the most exciting but the three balls thing is maddd hard
@ ball on the ring thing not new. Balancing ball on a long stick not new. The forearm strength one is fine but also not new and has been used a lot. None are easy but the 3 challenges that require you to balance a ball are all the same skill set.
