    Great point about how decolonization is not about going back to the past but creating the future. We can't go back, but we can create a decolonized future.

    So glad to see you covering this one! I teach writing to first year college students, and these discussions are some of the most complicated and necessary to have.

    Thanks for this. I'm still finding ways to embody language in a way that is actively anti-abstract and resists the colonization inherent in my Christian/middle class education.

    Not a fan of Ngũgĩ wa Thiong'o's rejection of Christianity nor of your 'interest' in Queer studies... But I wrote you both a short(from what I could glean online) biography in Gĩkũyũ language Wikipedia (my first language)
