I was kinda surprised with your sprint but when I realized it was to get the passing train on camera I really smiled. Thank you for your dedication, friend
It doesn't get better than this channel. High resolution, high framerate, stabilized camera, and you're filming in the same way people would actually look around. This is the next best thing to actually being there. Thank you for your work!
I've seen bunch of yt channels doing walks like this, some of them showing Japan, others USA ect., but Rambalac is my man and I'm watching only his videos. Love ya bro! ;) Greetings from Poland
Hey Rambalac, the added descriptors for each video section is great. It adds so much to know where we are and what we are seeing. Take care from Vancouver. Don't forget to add cats notifications., xox.
Please, don't ever stop making these videos. Japan is absolutely lovely, and your videos are of quality content! Almost like you're there. Greetings from Denmark!
I really love how you give such a beautiful and effort-ridden videos for us. Carrying those big 4k cameras for so long, just for a good quality vid is...touching.
Your videos are great! I watch them while listening to some japanese lessons, in preparation for going there next year. So thank you for adding visual excitement during study-hour =)
Hi Rambalac, in this covid-19 lockdown, having to stay home, your videos have been a lifesaver for me and my family. I've been exposed to Japanese culture, which feels great. Overall, you are awesome brother!
Hey! Rambalac! it's your friend in the U.S. Rozoman, it's good to see another nice vid walk from you my friend, you and Walk Samurai have the best walking videos AWESOME!
I am a firm believer that I must have lived in Japan in a past life :) I find these videos so utterly relaxing. I love getting lost on your walks Rambalac. Thank you as always sir.
I was living in Nishi-Tokorozawa for more than a year. What a sweet place to be; very quiet and beautiful. And it only takes 30 min to go to Tokyo with the express train. I miss it a lot.
The first video version of the Ju-on (V Cinema) series "Ju-on" (1999) and the second "Ju-on 2" (2000) were filmed on a low budget and in a short period of time, Tokorozawa where this franchise was filmed. "Ju- on" is one of my favorite works. Tokorozawa is exactly "the city of the curse".
Thank you for this. I only went to Tokorozawa really briefly in March to take a picture of MetLife Dome and head back into Tokyo. So it is nice to see more of it. Hopefully next year I will take more time to check it out.
Thanks for another great walking tour Rambalac! Thanks for bringing Japan to those of us who might not get there anytime soon. Best from New York. (別の素晴らしいウォーキングツアーランバラクをありがとう! 日本に連れて行ってくれてありがとうございます。 ニューヨーク発。) (Betsu no subarashī u~ōkingutsuāranbaraku o arigatō! Nihon ni tsureteitte kurete arigatōgozaimasu. Nyūyōku-hatsu.)
Aaahhh, Tokorozawa, I lived there for a bit. ^^ Interesting city with its aviation history. And some surroundings were some inspiration for the Ghibli movie „tonari no Totoro“. ^^ It truly has some nice green touch, especially with its park. During sakura season its realy nice, also some other areas like the small sakura river. In the west you also have some lakes with alot of green. I regularly used the cycling route around some of them. You have some nice small shrines/temples as well. For other activities the baseball stadium is a go and you can find an amusement park next to it as well. Ah yeah, I fogot that this town has two concert halls. So there is still quiet a lot to do there. A nice pro for this city is its location. Its is not thaaaat far away from Tokyo city center and not thaaaaat far away from the nature in the mountains or the rural areas in Saitama prefecture. Even the beaches of Kanagawa are not that far away. But overall the city is a bit … messy or not so stylish like other towns. This shopping street area could improve, also the quality of the streets and walkways could freshn up quiet a bit. The skyline could have a nice skyscraper icon as well, all those uniform residential highrises are not so pleasent. It needs some architectural update in some places like the main stations for example. In my opinion the city should use alot more modern wooden architecture stuff, that would be outstanding and interesting. And except the aviation theme there is not really THE thing that attracts tourists like Nara or Kamakura has, no old tonw like Kawagoe north of it or no famous shrines or an old castle or deers and what not. Besides the pretty small aviation museum in the aviation park there is nothing much else people can see/experience. I want to say: there can be more. So I hope the city will get rid of its week points. It could be a better city in the outskirts of Tokyo than Saitama city, a true hotspot of the Tokyo area. That would be awesome!
Thanks for this! I was just rewatching Sword Art Online last night on Netflix and they featured Tokorozawa Station in the 2nd season OP! What a coincidence!
Thank you a Rambalac! As always I love your video’s and the first park with the Koi and water Lillies, just that who place is so beautiful! And yay! After the fourth or fifth vending machine, you got your favorite beverage! 😁, The weather there looks cool but it’s probably hot and humid, hence the rain too... it’s hot and dry here in Central California with no chance of rain, all Summer! There’s several parks in my city that are big with tons of trees and walking paths that I take walks through, right now it’s just too hot. Maybe I’ll try going in the early morning. Thank you for your video’s, always so impressive! Take good care of yourself! 💖😁
each vending machine rejection of the one thing you wanted kept adding up haha, then boom! you finally hit the jackpot. anytime I see a vending machine now, i think of it as the Rambalac trademark!
Wow, this is trippy. I lived in Tokorozawa for 4 years while teaching English. Spent a lot of time on Prope Street (Saizeriya on Tuesday nights for pizza). Been 10 years already. *sigh* Wish I hadn't left...The long-running sentai shows (Power Rangers in the US) do frequent filming in the Aviation Park...and the house from the Ju On movies is located not far off Prope Street as well, though when I was there the property was locked and the lights in the house were always on...
People are wearing masks almost all of them. Keeping social distancing, that is the way. Way different to my country where cases are going up again. Love your videos. Keep up your great work.
говорят, Ёёги парк очень клёвое место в тёплое время года и осенью.... но полноценных видеопрогулок по нему нигде нет. Если окажешься там, снимешь для нас?
I was kinda surprised with your sprint but when I realized it was to get the passing train on camera I really smiled. Thank you for your dedication, friend
