I see why Daryl hasn’t had a relationship or building to one till now. He’s a complicated character with a difficult and sad background and he needed to wait until he found the person who’s his equal. Connie is exactly that (in Norman’s words). The man is literally learning an entire language just for Connie and she makes him talk a lot and smile. She truly brings out the best in Daryl and I think this is the Daryl love story we’ve waited for all along.

I never thought about it like that! Your right though Daryl truly is such a complex character and I feel like due to his background, he would want to be in a relationship where the two are treated as equals, which explains why we haven't had a daryl romance story until Connie
Mac Hodgdon Exactly! I also love that the show is not doing something predictable of just putting him with some of the women he’s known for years because that’s not how love works. Love comes in different forms and it has it’s own timing and Connie happened to show up and suddenly, Daryl is in the best mindset he’s ever been in. I finally think he’s ready for a mature adult relationship and I hope they’ll allow him to be happy for a good while. It’d be nice if Rick eventually got to meet Connie and see how happy Daryl is.

I think Daryl likes Connie because she is something new, i mean, he sees her and dont remember anything painfull (like Atlanta, Prision, his friends...), Daryl sees Connie like a beautiful strong woman and anything else, maybe that is the reason because she is perfect and not carol. Carol and Daryl are the same broken soul, and they need someone who gives them joy and happy memories.

As much as I hate to say it, I truly believe Carol may die this season. From her conversation with Daryl in the woods, its almost like she wants to make sure he has someone like Connie to be his person and so he dosent pull away from the communities. Would defi itely be a poetic sendoff.

I liked Connie. I see that they were developing a friendship, I know a lot of people would want them to be together but it never really looked like that. Daryl even denied having those kind of feelings for Connie. Never looked liked it was going to turn into something else, they were becoming buddies, and I liked it that way. Why does everything has to turn into a romantic thing, anyway. Its a good thing the show has included such relationships, too. And now we know Daryl had Leah, all this time, at least on his mind. So everybody has got some love, finally. Connie will be back soon, Daryl and Carol will be friends again, everybody will be happy, that's enough for me. 🙂

I’ve shipped carol and carol since the beginning, but I know that their bond is more those of good friends. More like family than romantic lovers. And Daryl’s been alone for so long and deserves someone to be with. I honestly don’t ship him with Connie but she seems to make him happy so it’s good if they get together.

Esto realmente me alienta a volver a ver The Walking Dead, y no es que la haya dejado de ver porque murió mi personaje favorito y blablabla, simplemente por el tiempo y como varios decían que la serie se fue en resumidas cuentas a la mierda, pensé que sería ridículo seguir viéndola, pero me intriga saber si Daryl podrá tener su "final feliz", aunque después uno de los dos muera, jaja, que chistoso. I can’t immediately think of any tips right now but I would definitely encourage you to do it, I love it and was very happy when I decided to start making videos.😁 In the beginning it may be a bit difficult but it’s definitely worth it!
