    I love that Belle doesn't kiss The Beast and instead hugs him. I don't want to spoil anything from the movie but a heartfelt hug works so much better than a kiss.

    A Million Miles Away legitimately made me cry in the theatre. I recommend finding one of the longer versions that has the ensemble echoing back part of the song. It can apply to so many situations, but I also can’t talk to anyone about it because it applies so perfectly to that ONE situation and I want them to watch it. 😭

    • @dragonwaz
      @dragonwaz 2 роки тому +10

      Yeah the song without the acting isn't as powerful for that one and Gales of Song. Hearing the hesitation in her voice is powerful. But the fact Million fades out to another song that feels like a reprise but isn't actually the same song unfortunately makes it hard to just listen to the song to get the impact. You'd have to listen to the movie audio and I haven't been able to find an English version of that entire part of the movie.

    • @ryanjones7401
      @ryanjones7401 2 роки тому +7

      @dragonwaz Yeah, this is the closest I can find, although the musical breaks have been shortened. I still think it would be fun to watch David react to the Japanese version, though, especially since the English VA and the Japanese VA are so similar in intonation and resonance.

    At the beginning when you felt that way, that is a good sign that the actor actually did a good job. During the production of this movie in Japan, Belle's Japanese voice actress was told to write her own lyrics as to make the singing as authentically emotional and true as possible. And the English dub actress did an amazing job expressing very similar emotions in her voice

    Please react to more songs from Belle! I had the privilege of seeing this film in theatres two weeks ago and the music gave me chills and I was desperately holding back tears for all of them, especially 'Gales of Song' and 'A Million Miles Away'. My personal favourite songs are this one and 'Gales of Song'. Maybe I just relate to the protagonist a bit too much, but Gales of Song pulled my heart strings to the breaking point! For a bit of context, this is the first time the protagonist has sung in potentially years so she starts out by testing her voice and then just going for it and it spoke to my soul! It's simply beautiful!

    It wasn’t my suggestion that got you to do it but it was still something I suggested, so I can’t help be so happy to see you checking out Belle :D

    That was such a beautiful song! One of the best things about this community, this small corner of UA-cam, is that i get to hear some great, new songs!

    Kylie McNeil did an absolutely fabulous job. Hands down, best voice actress and singer I've heard. Yes, she does the English dub voice and sings all the songs herself.

    I love the scene , it capture the old Disney magic , both the scene and the music. Very nostalgic even though this is a new Anime.

    If you love this, I can't wait for you to hear all the others. There isn't a bad song in this whole movie.
    I especially can't wait for you to hear Gales of song and A Million miles away
    Millennium Parade is also a bop :)
    Also if you plan to watch the whole movie be prepared for a feels trip.
