Something is missing from the new group - I am sure they practice well, play their instruments well but overall ensemble is missing something - not as great as old 12GB band - still very good music and I listen almost everyday

This latest version of the 12Girls Band is also a poor reflection of the originals. The problem is changes in style of management and rapid turnover of players.
No. The original line up for their first concert in 2001 consisted of 12 girls. After a few changes they became 13 girls but with only 12 on stage at the same time. JJ and YY each playing in only part of the performance. Later they played 13 girls throughout each performance until the upheavals around 2008/09. These days they are usually back to twelve

This is a complicated story. Some girls got married and had kids. Some left for other personal reasons. There have also been disputes with the management. Very complicated.

@@dizierhupipa they should do like BTS in Corea: 50% of the company are owned by the members of the band. The other 50% by the management.
