Get a front loader BUT...BUT...BUT...understand that you will be in a WAR with "black mold". You must be vigilant...you must check the rubber door seal EVERY WASH DAY after you are finished for the day. You MUST clean the lint and debris from the rubber door seal and wipe it dry...preferably with a rag with some white vinegar on it. DON'T let the mold get the upper hand. And, of course, you must NEVER, NEVER leave the door closed when it is not wash day. The door needs to be OPEN so the moisture can dry out. If you do that then your front loader will be a helpful member of the family.
We commend you for wanting to take care of your mom with a new washing machine. Once you are able to do so she will save a large amount of time washing clothes.
I miss the old skool water I’m an 80s baby I use a lot of soap I hat tide pods and I have the Maytag with out an Agitator I hated the strings getting caught in it pluse they didn’t have an agitator when I was shopping for one

I hope one day, I'll be able to buy my Mom her own washing machine. This will help her so much. We're currently washing our clothes using hands.

Hi Krystle! You might be using too much soap. We recommend using a brand of detergent called Excelsior.
I'm interested in front load. Will be my first one. Is there a model without all the technology? I dont need to use my phone to turn it on and so on.
