In the 2010-20 decade, our team was crying out for a top-class right winger to match Hazard's prowess on the left.
Hazard left us in 2019 and we never gave him a worthy Right Winger / Left-Footed Winger.
Fast forward to the 2020-30 decade, and the shoe is on the other foot.
In this decade, the position we desperate need is a star left winger / right-footed winger. Madueke has dazzled superbly on the right and we've still backed that position with 2 more great wingers. But the left flank is empty.
Let's not repeat the errors of the past and secure a solid left winger to balance our squad!

As a Chelsea supporter I wanna get excited for these “wonder kids” but what concerns me the most is how will they adapt to the pace and physicality of the premier league because it’s far more intense than it is in South America! Yeah they are being compared to Messi/Neymar ect but wait none of them ever played in the premier league and obviously their skill sets/attributes might have been altered/tested if they did play in the premier league and they might not have had as successful careers as they have done. These kids have raw talent, pace, mad technique and skills but physically (size and stature) they look weak and I’m concerned that to make it in the premier league they would need to bulk up and develop in a certain way which is very necessary but could take away that pace or hinder development of other attributes that make them look so amazing right now! Lastly they won’t get the time and space to play in such a technical way so would have to adapt. When was the last young talented South American attacker/winger who played like this (skilful,dribbling,pace) successful when coming straight to the premier league? I can’t think of any of the top of my head , let me know if you can but I hope to be proved wrong by these kids!!!

Paez will adapt quickly. Not sure about Willian. He's too skinny and one strong tackle and he'll be injured for a whole season or even kill his career. It's a very tender age for talented ballers like them. Angelo and Paez are 200% ready for the prem. Willian will need a loan to Omari Hutchinson.
Im sure Estevao will start bulking up to get ready for the EPL next summer

2 different kind of players. Paez plays more like Bernardo Silva, and Estevao is more like Neymar, Vini, Foden. Paez is a better passer, and Estevao is a very aggressive player.
So truly it depends on what the team needs. Personally I would chose Estevao over Paez all day long, Estevao is the kind of player that will create changes and wont stop trying to go at defenders and creating goal opportunities.
People think Paez is better because "he is more mature". Estevao has had less play time because he plays for Palmeiras which has the best squad in South America, with a bunch of great and experienced players, and also he is brazilian, which is not easy to make it to the national team. In 2023 Paez was better than Estevao because Estevao was on the bench playing 15-20 minutes per game. Now in 2024 that Estevao is now starting matches and playing 60+ minutes he is already doing better than Paez, with less experience his goals per minutes is already higher than Paez, and he is the best player at Palmeiras right now.
Another observation, Ecuatorian league is a freaking joke, Estevao team beat Paez twice already this year, and ecuatorian teams wouldnt even be at the top of the second division in Brazil. If Estevao already has better stats than Paez at a much stronger league, imagine if the played in Ecuator lol
If Estevao keep playing the way he is doing now, in 2/3 months he will be on the Brazilian national team, and he can easily start over Rapinha or Savinho
