I would of thought the same if I haven't watched AR12gamings video about it first.....but then again I play WoT. And the games company paid DrDisrespect to play their version of battle Royale for 2 hours. I played the mode and it was a complete cluster fuck. The rigging was so stupid...

A lot of people glitch so you can’t challenge people, car spawns aren’t really random at all. And it’s possible to land at the wrong spot and it’s impossible to make it in the cycle before you get the timed out. Forza fucked up hard and it was shit they could easily fix.
15:10 The reason you could challenge this Mini instead of the previous one was because the previous Mini was already engaged in a 1-on-1 race. Notice that the previous Mini had a line through the circle on the mini-map (like a do not enter sign) and the one you could challenge didn't. Personally, I don't really like the trend the Horizon series is going down...Seems like they're chasing after trends now as well (live service and now battle royal). At least PG isn't monetizing it to hell and back and they're doing a better job at the live service thing than most others. Basically what this mode is is Free Roam Rush, just with a larger group and 1-on-1 races with loot.
Nope ton of luck involved, doesn’t make you race outside the ring, the glitch so you can’t challenge people and stuck low lvl, start a race and the other guy passes you goin the other way and race is that way, within 1min off the start someone grabs a lvl 5/6 and challenges you.
@@bbdl7042 No, a lot of it comes from skill. I've been in tier 6 cars and lost to tier 3 due to not knowing terrian an very well. If you have the skill to navigate the forest, hills, mountains, wall barriers without hitting trees or landing side ways then you will win the majority of the time even if the tier difference is 5. Know which cars preform better on and off road. Take it from someone who's came in 1st twice, and gotten to car tier 10 3 times. Keep playing and you'll get better at it hon. 😉

My idea for a battle royal car game would involve the crew, everyone starts on foot and has to find car or bike or whatever's closest, at the starting area there are only slow cars and the further you make it towards the goal the better the cars you find. First person from one end of the us to the other wins.

The Eliminator is a lot of fun, but I feel like they could add a few features. 1. More Car Drops 2. Make car drops easier to spot 3. Remove some trees from the forest to make racing and driving much easier and more enjoyable 4. Allow you to join a session in a group
I think it would be nice to have normal upgrades laying around, like better tyres, engine block upgrades, stuff you would upgrade your car in the normal game with
yeah man one of the funnest things was in test drive offroad just goin into freeride 2player and playing tag across the entire environment in your vehicle. no racin or nothin. just tag in cars. some of these designers make crazy levels that hardly gets explored

the amount of Playground Staff on is classic... straight up cutting down the staffers with ease. And then a wild AR12 Nick appears. This tempts me to get back into FH4 but not really
Always funny to see little kids that come from GTA racing into Forza and do the same annoying thing like they do in GTA because they basically have no skills in driving at all
Interfering in races would make sense if you (1) either know the person who is racing as a good driver or (2) are able to see his prestige just as you would in a regular race. That way we can knock out stronger players early in the game by interfering in their races. Otherwise it doesn’t have much advantage for the interferer
I feel like the people knocking this mode haven't actually tried it. I hate free roam rush and I find this mode a lot of fun. I won the event one time and got to lvl 25 in this mode pretty quickly. I enjoy it indeed.
There should be cards around the map that you find and keep for that whole game, as in they transfer as you get better cars, and provide stuff like power and handling boosts
I know how to improve this mode. Doing the 1v1 races should give you points, you use points to buy different lvl cars, when it gets down to the last 10 the should be teleported to a area and race to the end
I don’t hate the idea of races ending outside the ring but I’m surprised they didn’t implement a timer reset or grace period considering the time lost in between vehicles being chosen or upgraded. Seems like a pretty simple solution to me. Looks pretty fun tho I’ve never played a horizon game yet. Might be worth a peek on sale

7:30 - Even if you wanted to, you can't upgrade your car when engaged in a 1v1 with someone. Tried it myself and yeah, no dice there.
