Lucy's has done a lot since she became a cop, but to me, her greatest accomplishment was what she has done for Tamara: taking her into her home, helping her get into college, getting justice for her friend.
Lucy still embarrassed over how Tamara stole her car, while Tamara views it as the turning point of her life.

I'm so sad about this because Tamara has been one of Lucy's constant safe space since she came onto the show. And she's an important part of Lucy's narrative. This really feels maybe as bad as the breakup. I hope we see Tam pop in here and there in future episodes. :((

If only they weren't broken up, Tim would have brought up how Lucy let Tamara have her car, only to sell it for money to buy clothes and savings for college.
The sadness in Lucy's eyes..... I just can't. It feels like she is a parent whose sending kid to college but is never gonna see the kid again....! How did she hold her tears? 😭
And what I love is that Tamara is the strong one this whole episode. She knows her moving out is going to be much harder on Lucy than it is for her, and assures her that she will still be in her life no matter what.

No, she wouldn't be able to get over him that quickly. With the others she could become, she didn't love them, but she loves Tim. So it would be hard for her to just start dating someone else.

I feel as though Tamara is being strong for Lucy in this scene. She knows her leaving at this time is going to be hard on her, because she has been someone that she can trust and share her thoughts, hence why she hugs her and tries to lighten the mood by bringing up the car incident.
