Its true walang tapon sa mga contents nya. Lahat may sense. NakakaAwa sila😢
Galing ni Ms Karen mag contextualize and give real-life scenarios para mas maintindihan ng ordinaryong Pilipino ang importance ng Women empowerment. We need more spokesperson like her. Its ironic that the poorest of the poor need it more than anyone else in society. Women empowerment is anti-opression. Pero we the poor have the least time to engage. Kaya kahit awareness man lang maibahagi sa amin.
so much wisdom!!❤❤ tama lang tlga na si karen ang kinuha ng UN cause she speaks with her heart and wisdom from the Lord! may we all get the confidence to stand for ourselves and others❤! love u both and B and miss Karen
My take away here is Women shud live that way that makes her happy.
I look up to you both. Such an inspiration to us Filipino women.
I love this!!!! I have to listen to this several times!!! Now, I know that I'm on the right track...I see those types of conversations in the workplace...when they say they advocate for gender equality...then laugh at women for wearing heels, making jokes about women, etc...I knew something was wrong in advocating for something you don't really truly believe in and embody....so I guess, I'm on the right track in thinking that in minor conversations you often see that the patriarchal system is very much ingrained in Filipino society...and when women talk, they get to argue but when men talk they don't say a thing...Maybe, let's start by observing from there...women have the right to speak...and don't even stop us from speaking...
Found myself binge-watching Ate Bianca's Paano Ba 'To videos again. Very motivational, inspiring and all videos make sense. So helpful especially during my low days.
Wow,miss karen in the house.I loved this, two of my most favorite smart and empowered women.ang sarap makinig pag parehong magaling at may mapupulot kang aral, mapapaisip ka talaga. Thank you again Miss Bianca for this beautiful vlog.
This is a very educational discussion! These women’s wit is so interesting to watch and learn. Salamat po!
It’s really nice to watch and hear those words of empowerment. I also work in a man dominated job in UK, as in only girl in our department. I’ve been to different places because of my job. I’ve seen a lot yung mga kalokohan ng mga lalaki. How they talk about their partners. I never argue or try to stop them from saying those words kasi I thought na I have to get use to it since this is the kind of job I have, and as long as they don’t disrespect or talk about me.
KD’s powerful articulation on gender equality exudes strength, wisdom, and an unwavering dedication to building a more equitable world for all (especially for us in a 3rd world country) 👏 I’m heading straight to that 40mins. podcast!❤
Made me teary-eyed! I needed that reminder...'confidence is not something you can pull out of thin air. You need to invest in yourself.' What a perfect reminder as it's what I really needed to hear right now. I've been deliberating on spending money for pricey online courses (money that is needed for some other important things) but here you go, I will invest in myself because I deserve to grow. Thank you, Ms. Karen and Ms. Bianca, you two are truly amazing women!
YES, ang tagal for a woman to be confident! It's like we're perpetually asking for permission for everything - but when we learn how to step in and take up space they'd either be scared off or call us "difficult", "arrogant" or every bad name in the book naman.
"The best investment you can make is in a WOMAN!" - maam Karen Davila's quote highlights the importance and value of investing in women, recognizing their potential to drive positive change and contribute significantly to various aspects of society and the economy. It underscores the need for equal opportunities and support for women to thrive and make meaningful contributions.
As a woman, I find myself not wholly aligned with the traditional narrative of Women's Empowerment. Instead, my advocacy is centered on the concept of 'People Empowerment.' This approach is born from the conviction that focusing exclusively on one group for empowerment can unintentionally deepen societal divides. By embracing the empowerment of all individuals, we pave the way for a more just and equitable society-where everyone, irrespective of gender, is granted the freedom and opportunity to realize their full potential. This inclusive vision fosters a collective journey towards empowerment, one that enriches us all without engendering competition or division. It is about uniting our efforts to nurture and recognize the varied strengths and unique contributions of every human being, thus enriching our collective human experience. Together, let's redefine empowerment-#EmpowerAllPeople."
We should also teach young boys to respect individuals and not too macho. So they will not become abusers or offenders. Gender equality applies to both genders.
Hindi ba dapat you share chores and other responsibilities.
MALI.....ASSISTANTS. WHERE I AM, THAT IS VERBAL ABUSE!!! I TRULY ADMIRE YOU. YOU ARE WALKING YOUR TALK. BTW, I AM AN ADVOCATE OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING VICTIMS OUTSIDE OF THE PHIL. I SPEND MY OWN MONEY TO ASSIST THEM. HOW I WISH TO MEET YOU IN THE PHIL. , EUROPE OR THE U.S. WISH YOU THE VERY BEST....ALWAYS.
KAREN, SINCE YOU'RE DISCUSSING WOMEN EQUALITY, PLS. ALSO, ADDRESS THE ISSUE OF WOMEN IN YOUR INDUSTRY SCREAMING AND SHAMING THEIR ASSISTANCE AND THEIR CONVENIENT EXCUSE??? PERFECTIONIST KASI AKO!!!! LOOK AT OUR TELESERYA, DI BA PALAGING NANINIGAW SA KATULONG?? WE CLAIM OURSELVES AS CHRISTIANS, BUT HOW DO WE TREAT OUR HOUSEHOLD HELPERS??
Thank you sooooo much dear Bianca 🤍 you are my advocate and empowerment sister!

Dami nating kailangan i-unlearn talaga.
What a wonderful reminder of being a woman 👠❤ I cannot be anybody else, I can be me ❤️ thanks 💯
